You know UpUpandAway... I bet you could pull on that perc a bit harder and still get nice foggy hits off that Mobius. Its easy to see a nice flow of vapor coming in the dewaar. About what I usually see in my videos, where the MFLB works well, with that particular glass.

If you don't mind, trying something for my amusement. Raise your water level about 1/4" to just covering the top of where the perc starts to flare out. Then do another take, with a steady pull and constant bubbling at the top of the water. Just a hunch, but I'm thinking that piece will pull hits like the Leviathan in my last video.

Anyway, Q. If you want, you can send your box in. They'll fix it, just like they do the ground ring adjustment for people. Well, I'm not 100% on that, but I can't think of a reason they wouldn't. Its an easy fix, for them I would assume. Had I had my other vapes, when my 1st box with the dark grain bolt, I would have sent that box in. Best box I ever had, working together with all the batteries, PA. Unfortunately, it was also the most fouled Box I had. Didn't know anything about curing and grind back then, other than it needed to be fine.

I just recieved my mflb before 1 week and i am completely new in vaporizing.at the first try i burned my weed but then i think i figured out how to vape without burning.BUT reading a lot of posts and reviews on the mflb i realised everyone said that each battery is about one session.my batteries for some reason last at least 4 sessions some times depending on the quantity i put in maybe even 6. + compared to the videos i've seen on youtube i get no clouds coming out from my mouth when i exhale even tho i see some clouds coming in my lungs when i inhale.Am i doing some mistake?is there some common mistake of newbies with this result(no vape when exhaling + long lasting batteries?)

I found out also that the less i put in the oven ( and the more finely grinded it is) i get more vape and in less time but the session finished faster too.

Some people load the LB right to the rails and keep huffing on it until the load is black, and call that a session. Others, like me, load about half that and hit it two or three times and then stop for a while to let the effects come on. I can get several sessions like this out of a battery.

In my opinion, you are doing it exactly right, and better than most. No visible vapour on exhale is the goal for a lot of us. The Youtube videos show clouds being exhaled because they want to prove that they're actually getting vapour. It's like the money shot in a porno clip.

my method:

i put the battery in and check from the stem for the vapor to begin forming and as soon as it gets a bit thicker i start drawing either slowly and constantly or inhale a bit stronger-wait a sec-inhale again strong about 3 times and then take out the battery and start over after some time.in the beginning i used to do it like that :

battery in-->see vapor through stem--> pull the battery out-->inhale-->repeat

with the method i used to do it i could get like 8-10 hits.but with the long hits i get like 5-6 and then the hemp is brown and in some parts starts getting dark brown. even in the long hits tho i get very little vapor.almost invisible.

after the small experience i got i have been able to watch the vapor flowing from the oven to the stem and then maintain the same vapor flow in the stem by controlling my breath.

edit : i consider it a session when i get to the hit that my herb is brown and the taste becomes heavier and i know that after that hit if i try for a next one its gonna be popcorn.after that hit i either take out the herb regrind it and put it back in for a last one with normal taste or pack it in a bag i keep my vaped hemp to make some edibles some day.

Forget trying to define a session. You are doing it exactly right, that's all that matters.

I need to not burn my herb. I usually hit until there's little to no vapor, or atleast until there is significantly less vapor yeilding from a correct pull, but this is usually after the poopcorn smell
What it probably amounts to is that most of my ABV is useless..

ye i think that the hemp that i take out regrind and put back in the trench for vaporization wont give anything to edibles.maybe it will even make the taste worse.not sure tho.when i make my first edibles i will give a review.

it always comes out green in the end. it will rock you, like borderline tripping and whatnot.
always save your ABV.

edit:i do the 24hr crockpot method for devastating cannabutter. try like 35 grams of ABV to one stick of unsalted butter. place it in the crockpot and add water. no such thing as to much water.
let it go for 24hrs on warm. strain through cheesecloth into tupperware. let it separate in the fridge for eight hours. break it, gently pour water out and lightly rinse the bottom of the butter in cold water. make some cookies, one should do ya!

always save your ABV.

i got 2 extra batteries the day before my mflb arrived home and i think it was the best move i could have done.with 4 batteries its almost impossible to not be able to hit the box when u are on the run.

Buy a micro grinder i think its like ten bux but its also not totally necessary as theres many ways to fine grind. I dont think upgraded batteries are necessary either but i recommend buying some extras. I have 3 extras that i dont even use, but which are definitely good to have as i already somehow lost a battery.
One thing i wanna get that i havent already is a whip.

They come with a case as well. For battery management I wrote "new" at one end of the case and "old" at the other end of the case using a Sharpie. Write on the inside of the case so that it does not rub off. If the batts are newly charged, the positive end (with the nipple) goes to that "new" end in the case. When I trade them out, I put the used batts positive end towards the "old" end. That way you never have to guess! I did the same thing with the 2 battery case that came with the box.

While I fully agree, a few extra (charged) batteries is a very good idea, I don't agree with the 'any old 2000+ NiMH solution'. Experiences with some that fit that description have been poor, not only in produced temperature (including battery self heating) but battery lifespan as well. Stick with the specific tried and proven brands and models suggested on the Wiki page or this thread. Or, perhaps better still, use the factory battery (which has been researched well....).

Get the Power Adapter if you plan to use it much at home. I think the PA is the best accessory ever for the LB. You'll have to order directly from Magic-Flight to get it.

Theres 1 significant issue i have with my PA. U really have to press the button in pretty hard n clamp the thing and box with your hand to get a constant electrical connection. Anyone else have issues like this?

I had the same issue. I tried tightening the metal around the button like was suggested somewhere in this thread, and then realized my trouble is usually making the negative contact with the ring rather than not pushing it in far enough. Try pushing or pulling the end of the PA toward you as you press down, it solves the issue for me for the most part.
