I really am happy for the folks who've waited so long!
I have a guess that most (or a lot of) FC members made their decisions about the Grasshopper a year or more ago. This would mean that most members who got on the bus have already got one - from HL or they jumped ship and went to a retailer when that option opened up. Just sayin' we're ahead of the curve, earlier adopters.
I think this also explains why we have the perception (here on FC) that only a handful of shipping confirmations are going out, when there really are a lot of boxes in that shipment photo. It also meshes with the apparent ease they're having in catching up with 2016 orders. Or maybe they won't; we'll see soon enough about that.
OK, I'll shut the fuck up too (not really, just move over to the main thread).

A napkin calculation of the boxes in the picture yielded about 125 boxes. About a 1/5 of a month's worth of orders.
I know...I said I was gone. One more rant? Not my first against the post office; I ordered some glass from Colorado and same thing so maybe it's just Denver, but this tracking just ain't right...

I know, we have to give the USPS some slack. They're just fighting to survive, but if you claim to track shit, track it! And to be fair (or more damning), I'm sure it's here on the east coast and later today I will finally get an update, but how come UPS can track and the USPS can't?
EDITh, and lest there be any doubt, that is the very latest tracking info...
My tracking info has always lagged well behind the package. Often it looks like it sits in Denver for a couple of days, then next thing you know it's checked in somewhere much closer to you!
We're two weeks away from Christmas. It's the busiest time of the entire shipping industry all year, don't be surprised to get delays, especially on shipping from smaller companies that don't get priority. My warranty shipment was delayed two days last week but my Amazon packages are all arriving on time.
Finally got an update. You folks who were tossing and turning, just unable to sleep wondering can now. Thanks for the good thoughts. It's just a walk across the park away!

Arrived at USPS Destination Facility
Still waiting on shipping for 12/21/15 Plain Ti. Think I shouldn't have ordered a couple extra batteries. Ridiculous
I think it's worth an email to them. Could have slipped through some cracks.

Not to pile on, but you definitely need to go into "bitch and moan mode" (politely). The xtra batteries shouldn't matter, most of us probably ordered xtra and got our hoppers months ahead of you.
Received it today. What a frustrating (nearly) 10 months. This was the first Hopper I ordered, but is my second to own, since I ran out of patience a couple months ago and grabbed one from VapeFiend.
Glad to finally have both Hoppers, and especially some extra batteries for the first time
Still waiting on mine, it says its in transit to destination since the 12th. Whether that's a USPS Destination Facility or my destination we shall have to wait and see
I had written Caroline over a month ago when I found out I was passed up on the last shipment. That's when I got the battery excuse. I wrote her yesterday and again today and finally heard back from her. If she had been even partway honest I would have let it go but instead she blamed it on me not clicking address confirmation back in October. Of course it shows processed so it was done then. But trying to place the blame on me? I can be really patient as we all have had to be with this startup company but them blaming? That just really pisses me off and I may file complaints Anyway, she says she'll send it if I just click on the address confirmation link.. Jeez.. Just unbelievable.
Who are you going to "file a complaint" with?
There are consumer complaint sites connected with state governments. I'm not going to do it but if I wanted to it would be at whatever Colorado's site is. Caroline did get back to me. I don't buy the excuse but it doesn't matter. My other guess is because I had ordered the steel case too.. I don't really know but as of today I still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation so guess still holding my fucking breath and hope they didn't run out of other shit yet..
But they definitely have issues they need to figure out. Really hope they do for their sake. They could have a great future for awhile.

oh wow, when i've ordered the Grasshopper i was very high and spontaneous... if i knew that it will take ~year to arrive i think i would think twice...
Stay optimistic that they are nearly caught up and your wait will be much shorter. Regardless of how long, it's worth the wait!
I am waiting on my replacement Ti body, it arrived DOA. I got tracking information indicating that it was at the Denver postal facility on Wedenesday with an anticipated delivery yesterday. Well that didn't happen. What's odd to me is that the tracking information hasn't been updated since Wed. So I seem to be stuck in some sort of holiday postal hell.

Thanks. I was trying not to bother them since I know these guys have to be slammed. I sent them an email yesterday through their website (email@example.com) . Hopefully they get back to me. My chances of getting this before x-Mas are getting slimmer by the minute.
