The BHOLT vaporizer

All I can say is the BHOLT has completely cured me of VAS as far as oils/waxes go. I no longer see any need to try the Dabbler. lol

That statement speaks volumes!! I've been afflicted with chronic VAS for a long time. If the BHOLT can cure me.... I'm in!! LOL..

Got my BHOLT yesterday.... All I can say at the moment is SWEET JEBUS this thing produces very well and quite easily on it's own, out of the box !

More to follow after some 'playtime' as I can't find my female/female adapter to use my rigs at the moment :ko:

Note to BHOLT: Please don't but 'cigarette' anywhere in the paperwork when shipping to Canada.... it causes unnecessary delays with customs (in my case, an inspection, then further inspection). ** I have the same problem with ecig stuff shipped to me.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
I'm starting to get hooked on this one.

Is there an FC discount on these. i tried a search and didn't see one. If not, those of you who bought one feel like it's def worth the money?

Also, I swear I did a browse thru the thread, but what is the difference between the reg and mini?

Hi, everyone.

Aaron from BHOLT can't access his FC account right now, so he asked me to let everyone know that he now has heat guns that can be used to clean your atomizers in stock. They've not yet been added to the website (which is being redesigned as we speak), so if you're interested in picking one up, you can email Aaron directly at support@bholtvape.com. They are $19.95 +shipping and include a 1-year replacement warranty. This heat gun is touted as the very best tool for cleaning the atomizer and is a must-have for BHOLT owners wishing to prolong their atomizer life.

I'm excited to get mine, since I've been using a hair dryer to similar effect, but am so tired of inadvertently blowing papers and other assorted items off the counter in the process.

Now...off to hit my BHOLT a couple (few) times.

Will be interesting to see the chosen heat gun they've chosen to recommend. I have a typical crafters one after giving up on the hard blow of a hairdryer blowing everything out of reach  and was currently searching for a digital heat gun for more precise heat at low airflow without braking the bank.

yes i would also like to know the make and model of the heat gun chosen for this job. i would really like to clean mine up a bit.

the length of the glass tube and the battery is smaller

if im not mistaken i believe the glass tube length is the same for both models. i know the pic on their site showed different lengths, but i think i remember them saying that both models will ship with the same length tube.

Bholt also confirmed the mini does not come with a charging stand.

That's a charging stand ? I though it was just a battery base to keep it upright on your desk so the oils wouldn't flow out of the cup when hot/warm :D

Either way, I like that the 'classic' has it (feels meaty'er (?) ), but don't really see it being a negative for the slightly stealthier ease of the mini.

It's not a charging stand but just counterweigth to keep it upright...

my first atty lost its gong...it simply slid off. No biggie, it is easy to attach it again, and it gave me the chance to completely clean the glass :)

From the new attys I ordered I had some doa issues, but after an email to the bholt crew it is all sorted out again. So soonish I will get the replacements, and aaron was kind enough to include another glass stem for my birthday :)

Hope they can come online again here soonish and tell us more about a possible FC discount, cause I would love to hear what y'all think about it ;)

Edit: took the bholt with me to Amsterdam twice, and it blew away all of the shop owners I showed it to. Then Aaron told me they got a phonecall from Amsterdam for an order...hihi, glad I could help spread the word on this one.

Had a chance to try the BHOLT thru my Toro macro..... I luv it !!

I really feel this has been a VERY good purchase, and a great alternative to setting up a full dab rig at home, not to mention the ability of dabbing when out & about :ko: I'll be putting it to a true test on Friday when I meet up with my chronic dabhead buddy.

I havent had a chance yet to mess around with the atty's on my 510 conn VV mods yet, but will let ya'll know how that goes.

Thank-You BHOLT for a great device that is treating me very well right out of the box

ok my Bholt landed last night. Had some nice customs stickers and tape all over it. Ha ha I presume it smelt good to the doggies. Nothing was removed.

Works really easy, pumps out the goods really well.

Im gonna play with it for a few days then report back.

So, I've been reading through this thread as I am in the market for a portable vape pen and this looks promising.

However, is anyone using this as a portable vape pen or more for at home with your glass? It seems a little much to try and take with you on the go and maybe even messy with no cap to keep the oil from getting all over your pocket.

Also am I reading this right, if an atomizer goes out I need to replace the whole glass piece rather than the small atomizer itself? This seems a little unnecessary and expensive when you should be able to just replace the ceramic cup and would cost less than half the current replacement price.

Have I missed something or is there a reason for this?

Well, I guess if you can then go ahead and replace the ceramique cup yourself...I fo one would have no idea how to do that and am more then willing to let the BHOLT team make a buck on it...:2c:

The oil will not spill in your pocket! First off, al of the BHOLTS get a pouch for easy transport, so your atty is normally always tucked away in this pouch. Secondly, if you do not overload it, then the oil will stay where you have put it. I am using the torn of plastic thingy the attys are delivered in as an extra 'sleeve' to slp over the atty when I put it in the pouch again.

And to the question of portability...ever dreamed of having a portable nail? Maybe some dreams come true

Cool, thanks for the response.

Yeah I was more thinking of bringing it to concerts and such without the case, but it sounds like that can easily be done without making a mess.

As far as the atomizer when I first saw it I was expecting the ceramic cup to screw into the glass piece for easy/cheap replacement. Similar to the Globe on other e-cig pens.

It's not that I don't mind them making a buck, we all have to put food on our table. It just seems a waste to replace the glass when it could get reused and just the atomizer replaced.

I guess in time we will find out how to do that, and maybe the BHOLT team can come up with some sort of 'recycling' scheme, giving people a chance to send in broken attys and get them replaced, only replacing the atty and as such saving on new 'recources'.

Just got my pack of atomizers, and the LEDs are also a bit finicky but started to work. Hit a dab of some budder and it was hitting like a champ. I think I did not take as good care of my first atomizer as I could have as this thing is hitting way better than I remember :D.

Damned, a bad day for my glass and BHOLT has passed...

my little horror story went like this: Took my 18mm bong with me, my glass reducer 18to14mm and my BHOLT. Let my friend try it the first time, he pulls the BHOLT out, together with the reducer, and before I know I could hear this awfull sound of glass hitting concrete...End of my reducers life...

So I taught damned, that just did not happen did it, on the first try? Yes it did. So I was like okay, accidents can happen. Here you go, try it with the glass tube.

So I hand him the BHOLT and the glass tube, and before i know this sounds hits me again...I can see how he grabs the glass tube, and lets go of the BHOLT...I see it going for the floor, thinking the extra weight of the battery will prevent it from falling with the glass first to the floor, but no luck for me...The complete gong smashed up and is in a million little pieces all over the floor....

So to those who are willing to let their friends play with their new toys, tell them to be really carefull, or better yet, keep the glass in your own hands and just let them hit it....

Damned, now I am down to just one atty...

My dab-head buddy session went great yesterday !! Buddy is ordering one right away for on the go hits lol

Great time bho'ing and qwiso making fun while sampling through all his different glass pieces as well.... still loving both the wp play but also love using the BHOLT alone just as it came.

My goal this weekend is to mess a bit with my VV 510 devices for shits n giggles ;)

I tried looking for a shorty or stealth 14 mm female glass stopper (or any 14 mm female stopper at all), to use as a plug for loaded atty's on the go with no luck at all ?!? wtf's with THAT ??

So I found that if I clean the battery side with few dry cotton swabs lots of resin comes off.
The air flow is better now and producing better clouds. :D

Glad you finally got your hands on your BHOLT smokum and it's working out great. I'm considering the BHOLT as a on the go portable. The mini is obviously preferred for its smaller size, but I wonder how much smaller the kit/ pouch is than that of the standard. I'd also like to see a pic of the mini assembled (glass tube and heater) or ideally a side-by-side pic of the assembled mini beside an assembled standard BHOLT. The pics on the web site seem to show more parts than are listed in the text. I also wonder how imperative it is that the BHOLT be upright during a session. Perhaps the protocol will involve the mini kit in the pouch on the go and some sort of mod (rubber collar) to achieve a base when using at home. Anyway, I too am thinking of how best to use this on the go.
