Not to knock the logo, but it looks cheap.
I know its just a simple rough design and dont take this as an insult at all...but it is not very catchy.
It needs dragons, flying giraffes, and a few soldiers fighting mutant alien spider beats.

The Vaker would be more hip to the lingo. The Baker is more old school sounding though - I like it.

I have to agree with Sticks about the temp. control. Since the moisture and THC content (and other elements) can vary widely, even from buds taken from the same plant,IMHO pre-sets are not the way to go. Maybe have pre-sets as well as a rheostat type control? And if you take it that far maybe allow users to set their own pre-set temps? Don't even know if that kinda stuff is possible, but as a customer I'd love it and be first in the "Please take my money" crowd!
Coming to the consumers way before the design is even close to being finalized and asking for our input? Who woulda thought....
I'm always spouting off about the importance of customer service, and this level of cs is off the chart!! I mean fixing problems before they even occur? Asking what we want rather than asking us to make do with whats being produced? Big props to ya...BIG PROPS!
If you guys can pull this off you'll raise the bar for all other companies as well as sell a f:)ckload of vapes!

Will there be 4 preset temps for herbs and 1 for oil? 3 and 2? At first the idea of presets was slightly off putting to me, but with such a wide temperature range I can understand. It isn't a deal breaker by any means.

Titanium for the high temps; GREAT. I'm fine if the air path isn't all glass, but I'd like to at least see the electronics isolated from the airpath.

I love the break away cord. What I'd really like to see is a magnetic cord similar to an apple laptop. Or will it break away from the power supply? Or will it be something difficult to remove like a "standard" laptop plug?

One button is okay but not for 5 settings, I don't like cycling through presets. More buttons wouldn't bother me, but why over complicate things? A dial that "snaps or locks" into one of the 5 presets would be ideal.

5 year warranty sounds great. How would shipping be handled? Who pays?

I'm not a fan of whips and I know I'm not alone in this. Would you do any whip-less attachments similar to the pinnacle? Glass stems or GonG/Water Pipe Adapters?

z9, the point of the attachments is to do all that and more, so I'm sure that would be an option. but let's think outside the box and come up with some entirely new shit. adobewan can draw it all up for us!

I'm going to put on my purple time-warp headband to see across the void ... to the vape of the future!

...approaching 2020, or is it 2014?

    Aaahhhh... yes... of course...

    1) User-controlled adjustable proportioning valves for customized airflow. Each hookah tube has its own valve.

    2) Multiple herb chambers, at least two, for simultaneous blended-herb vaping, i.e. used to blend different cannabis strains, or whatever herb is on the menu. Airflow valves are needed here too - one located after each herb chamber to allow for custom blending levels.

    3) Removable herb chambers that are interchangeable, for cleaning convenience and in order to keep different herb smells and tastes separate. Multiple whip tubes will also help serve that purpose.

    4) Fingerprint identification on the vaporizer to keep moochers away (and kids - they need their own vapes).

    5) A custom vaporizer case with combination lock.

    6) Digital vape diary built into vape - providing the ability to log the herbal strains vaped (a simple 10-character field will do) along with the number of hits and a timestamp.

    7) Highdea digital audio recorder built into vape, for that thought that almost got away. Hurry, it's disappearing with the clouds!

Funny how these cloudy visions always come in sevens... wait... something coming in from galaxy Shiva12...

Magic #8) Built-in "alarm" clock to automatically fill semi-sealed master bed canopy, or trusty old vapor tent. A real head ringer. Ideal for bake-then-wake living. Vaporizer fan required.

You forgot something, it automatically weighs your herb and logs it with the rest of the stuff you said.

Maybe easy to apply, removable, reusable skins to cover the vape for additional customization options. There could be a pre-made set then possibly a user uploaded option to design there own skin

If there was a way to measure each individual draw speed in the inhalation chamber to combat the initial temperature loss I think it would give a more equal experience to the user with the slowest short draw too the user that has hardest longest of tokes. In my mind it would function almost in the same manor as a manifold absolute pressure sensor.

With the titanium insert you could offer one divided into two chambers then it would be easy to do mixtures.

A app that you could go onto your website and download with different individualized temp presets and send via blue tooth,wi-fi, sd card, usb or something to your vape

    selectable color changing display backlight?

Built in surge protection (fuse) on the wall adapter

Over built it, make it able to fall from waist height and survive intact. I drop things...a lot. I know it would raise costs, but I'd pay like 7,maybe even 8 bucks extra. I watch The History Channel a lot,so I know you're using ancient alien technology you found hidden in the Sphynx's left testicle,so bust out some sort of shielding system, energy based would be ideal but cardboard would probably work too. Alien cardboard.
I'm sorry but I've been up for waaay to long and am losing coherent thought fast.

I like the idea in the original post about having different attachments (hookah style whips, Glycerine chiller, etc) that transform the vape to suit the users needs. One thing you didn't mention was giving this unit the ability to fill bags. Though bags aren't personally my cup of tea, they are extremely useful in a party type atmosphere and, I feel, would be a valuable addition to any plugin vape.

With the interest of keeping the main unit compact and simple to use in mind, I envision a separate bag blowing accessory that attaches seamlessly to the Baker. Something that could be packaged together with the unit or sold separately only to users interested in that feature. It could plug right in to the Baker and be powered through it, or simply have its own separate wall plug and set of controls.

Anyway, that was the idea that popped in my head while reading the op. Very cool of you to get customers involved on the ground floor of this project. I wish you good luck and am excited to see the final results.
