OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Well, you can try, but it sure don't do much good.......

As well I know from past experiences

And not to cloud the issue, the original idea was yours?

I think I was the first to post it here. Had to clean/change a faucet filter and that got me wondering if there were pre-formed screens without the metal rim the faucet screen had. My trimmed down ones never really sat right so I figured it was worth a try. I find they work either way.

Planetvape also has the FBomb, it's expensive. DHgate has the knock off Pinnacle Water Tool. I'm not sure of the quality it's under $20.

I really liked the D020 bubbler with the Air.

do you have the regular D020 or one of the -k, -w etc varieties? does anyone know what those with the added letter stand for?

Do you use any kind of attachment/adapter or just put the air straight into it?

Hey great little video. Gave me an idea which I dunno WHY I didn't think of.....
Hooked up my Air to my little DHGate bubbler (piece #179567923),

The search turns up nothing with that item # for me. wonder if they are done making that piece

A while back Sinclue his own self suggested some preformed screens, pricey by some standards at a buck each:

I'm here to say this time he is exactly right! Outstanding little guys, perfectly formed and trimmed round.

Exactly the right size, just enough 'spring back' to hold in place without having to distort it in any way. At a buck each, I think it's a bargain compared to fighting things to get mediocre results.

You know, I had the feeling that paying attention to him would pay off. I advise guys to get on board if you're at all interested.

ABV coming out even with these screens? I can't really see, if they are more on the fine side or coarse. My screen in my GonG is more coarse and prefer that honestly. Some may disagree but to each their own.

I have the D020 Bubbler and I use the 18mm GonG from Planetvape. It's made for the Solo but fits the Air. I really like the 2 paired I use it with my Solo too.

Can't decide which one. Standard or turbo... Never bought a gong before so I have no idea the difference..... which is optimal for a bubbler, or fbomb type glass? Pros and cons on standard vs turbo? Air users, enlighten me please :-D

As of this minute you Don't have to agonize, the turbo stems (very nice) are not in stock.

I have an F-Bomb and love it.

Thanks. I ordered the PVHES 18mm GonG last night so I'll have to order the D020 to go with it.

We'll see how it works. I bought a car inverter with usb and 12 volt plug to charge my air and pinnacle. 12 bucks on ebay

Anyone heard of a simple way to charge via USB yet? Charging from a higher power portable charger would be great.

Thanks very much, do you think this one will be any good? Cannot find 1.5mm anywhere in the UK, just 1.7.

The title of the U.S. cable says 1.5 on the diagram but 1.7 in the title.

Beats me. As I said in the referenced post, "One word of caution, there are 3 standards of pin diameters in this body size, no telling which this is, but it seems a solid enough mate to me.". That hasn't changed. I still don't know. And I sure have no idea about the fit of the one in the photo past saying it is almost certainly too shot (it would fit Solo, but not Air, in that case). At the least you'll have to cut the rubber cover off as I did. That usually works, although I have had it fail (the metal barrel wasn't long enough, a shoulder was exposed). All I can say is the one I have works, if you buy the same one (and modify it) it should work for you.

Otherwise you'll have to take the risk, buy it and see?

so I have gotten to know my air a bit over the course of last night, really liking this thing. thew lights and buttons seem a little confusing at first, but I quickly understood them. mine doesn't see, to have the battery-indicator-flash, but I now have run one battery untill the red light, and I noticed that even before the red light it's pretty obvious the battery needs charging. especially right before the red light the heater had to recover the tempo after every hit, but already before that I saw the flickering of the lights, I think the frequency of the flickering lowers a bit wgen charge is low so that I don't see it as a continious light anymore. or maybe I'm just more sensitive to flickering lights if I'm vaped.
and tonight I'm going to take it with me to the bar, see how it performs there, and how well it works for sharing. already got to share it though, a friend needed a place to sleep after a concert so he crashed at my place. with 2 people it wrked well.

There is a great 50% discount actually on Vapornation, I hesitate to order a Air but the dirty look(gunk stems) avoid me to order it, it's not really nice to be stealth!

(I ordered the ESV, was too curious about it)

btw, does anyone else hear a noise coming from their air? I hear a sound like the chirping of a poison dart frog, with pauses in between, and sometimes it stops for a while, but only when the heater is on(don't think I've ever heard it while it was still heating up to the set temperature, only when it has already reached it). it's also not very loud, but without music on and being by myself in a quiet room I can hear it.

If you care about how gunky the stems can get, it's easily alleviated by a weekly ISO wash?

or just get one of those Ed's WonG stems I've heard so much about ;) I think if you google Ed's TnT you'll find his site pretty easily.
