    Hi,

    To everyone his own preferences.

Do you reclaim from your bags? I certainly do!

...using concentrated alcohol (it kills all the germs!)...

No reclaiming mate... Just from the Solo stems, the rest in the bag and bottle is too little to bother. :)

    Pity the germs........... :worms:

Well, I broke (kinda) my cheap but reliable vaporbong that I have had almost since I started vaping. It got knocked over and the stem broke off right at the joint so i cant get the rest of it out of the body. I decided to make this, and it hits hard! I've thought about it before because back a few years ago when i never heard of vapor we did smoke lungs (called them "parachutes" for some reason). I shouldv'e made this sooner. This thing brings back memories in a better light, havn't hit one in years, and I've only been vaping for almost a year.

Oh, it hits hard alright! :ko: And has a great taste too. A little harsher than a bubbler for sure but its cheap and you can make it anywhere and it sure is much better than straight hitting. Share some pics if you like! :)

I think I tend to get denser hits which causes a little more throat irritation. Still is mighty quick and easy though.

Yea I get irritated as well. I don't use it much but did a few days ago. I forgot but I think if you pull slower it isn't as harsh or the other way around I forgot.

pull small hits and then some fresh air then small hit again... i do it that way and i reduce the iritation to minimum.its not such a joy as to suck all the bottle in once but w/e..

I'm pretty sure you can use a cheap pack of turkey bags from the grocery store, no?

I use the cheapest food storage bags I can find. The size will depend upon how big of a bottle you used. Cooking bags will work, but are very noisy. Just something big enough to fit all the way up inside of the bottle. Happy making. Hope it works well for you.

You can get the turkey bags in the dollar store and they are safe if you care. I don't think I would use regular storage bags but I am not sure why since the heat is low by the time the vape comes into the bag.

I use only regular soft food bags, the ones you put in the fridge or the freezer and they were excellent for the task. No need to be totally clear as it's the bottle that lets you look inside, the bag is down bellow the vapor space...

I use a 1/4" dowel to swab the inside of the bag and bottle with everclear and a cotton ball to clean and reclaim. Watch out for the first breath to pull the bag back in. The alcohol vapor is very strong.
I never exhale into the bag so it only contains vapor.

Wow! What a small world... I just made a new vapor lung last night to fill one for my love (easiest way to medicate her so far due to sensitive throat) and just saw the lung mentioned in the Cloud's thread! Coincidence? By the way... The lung and the Pod are a much made in heaven! Two hits and that's it! :ko: Load spent and head spinning!!!
I was always thinking of getting a vape for parties to pass around to vapor n00bs but the lung has this covered I think with some aid from the Hot Hot Pod!
Alan! The lung fills much easier and faster with a log... Now I know it was more fun for you to fill one so far but you've got some company on that now! :science:

    Pass the lung along guys!!!

I really gotta get off my ass, break outta my routine, and give this vlung a go. Then get back on my ass and tweak my routine with this vlung yo.

Alan has been on this action for some time. Some rainy day ... - of which there are no shortage round these parts.

But still, I can vicariously agree: Pass this lung along. I'll check out the mention in the Cloud thread. Other lung enthusiasts out there?

It should work with any vaporizer since it functions exactly like your lungs. The pull speed will determine the draw speed. The cap will just have to be made specifically for the vaporizer being used and have a seal at least as good as your lips. Obviously some vaporizers will work better than others. The better the airflow, the easier it will work.

natural farmer - Glad to hear the VL works well with the HP. So nice to be able to get a mix of flavor and effect in the same bottle. They are definitely a hit at parties. I still want to see a video of someone using a VL on a Cloud.

thanks to this thread, today i finally built my first vapor lung for my mflb. :) it only took around 10min plus a short walk to the drugstore for the bags. the most part of the time was spent on figuring out the best way of connection, using existing parts. i used a 1,5l water bottle and a 6l freezing bag. for the cap i made a hole to fit a short piece of the mflb silicone whip with the mflb pirex stem in it. to achieve tighter fitting i put the silicone part of my vapbong arond the whip. worked like a charm. i only gave it a run with a vapor brothers herbal blend but i was able to produce several bottles of good vapor without reaching combustion. i'm curious about the use with the real medication. :) but it has to wait for later today. what surprised me is, that i liked it more than inhaling a volcano bag. maybe, because i felt a certain resistance while inhaling.
so far, i can totally see it becoming a hit at one of the next parties and a good way to convert conviced combusters :)

Had a really great time at the Cannabis Cup last weekend. I brought two Vapor Lungs with me to show off. I had my HI connected to a battery pack in my fanny pack. They were all amazed at how quickly the bottle filled with vapor. So much faster than a fan system. The pull force determines the draw speed.
I even got the chance to try a Vapor Lung on the Cloud. It worked as good as I thought it would. Very tasty indeed. Perfect for parties.
I was invited to stand at Medical Jane's booth and demonstrate the TT / HI. The Vapor Lung was a huge hit with everyone. Many wanted to know where they could be purchased. One lady said it was the coolest thing she had seen in her two days at the Cup.
I think what makes it the neatest is that you get cooled vapor immediately and you can inhale it as easily / quickly as possible. The taste is really exceptional too.
I really need to do a video of filling / emptying a VL.
