Cool, thanks for reporting back as well. I didn't know this was possible with the GG version, so now we both learned something :)

Enjoy!

Well..... I finally got my new Wand, and Water Pipe Adapter. I used it once.... and then my wife broke my precious bong. I have no idea how long it'll be before I can afford a piece of high-end glass like that.

Errl and Vapor
Just ordered 10 feet of tubing, a standard wand, standard heater cover, 19mm bong adapter and some screens directly from 7th Floor. Pretty excited. I really like the spherical ground glass that came with my ssv but I'm really excited for the standard hc and wand for more vapor to air ratio. Can't wait to start using my Zob with it. :ko:

Also, I painted the base of the SSV black. I think it looks MUCH better than the original yellow. Sorry for the bad picture. Bad lighting + cell phone camera = no bueno. You get the idea though. I love this vaporizer.

That sucks, I hate when that happens :(....

On a side note, can you compare your PD to your SSV? Just ordered an SSV to supplement my PD and IO, so I just want to make sure I didn't make a hastily mistake. The ebay deal was to goo to pass up haha.

Hi Greeney,

I have a SSV, PD, and MFLB. Though I owned the SSV first, my PD is my daily driver - and i probably go through 8-10 stems a day. I use the PD because it conserves more herb than the SSV, and as money is tight in my situation, this is important to me.

Along with efficiency, I also use my PD because it keeps my tolerance low. When transitioning from SSV->PD, my tolerance was at its zenith. the minimum bowl size in an SSV is the equivalent of 4-5 stems, IMO.

Ultimately, it all depends on what is important to you - for me it is about efficiency and tolerance maintenance. the SSV, no doubt, has its place amongst the top-rated vaporizers. It is a hard hitter that is great for group settings.

I appreciate that, we'll see. I had never seen such a good deal on an SSV so I just bought it... Could be worse I guess i'll use it for partays :p.

Hey guys, I am going to sound like a peddler of 7th floor products, but truly I am not. lol. I have a Da Buddha, not an SSV, although I would love to buy a custom SSV someday. I was using my EHLE bubble bong with my DBV, and it was very nice. I decided to order the "water filter" setup from 7th floor, but mostly because it is basically a mini bubbler in itself. Comes with the Sherlock mouthpiece attachment. I wanted it as a BHO mini rig, which it is working out perfectly as. Anyway, I have also been using it with my DBV, and this thing is WAYYYYYYY better than using my bong. Doesn't "pull" as hard as my bong did, therefore not browning the weed faster. And it is so smooth you get a huge hit without even realizing it. Using this filter, I am high as a kite before I am even done vaping. About 4 nice pulls off of the water filter, and I am right where I want to be. :)

So anyway, check out the 7th floor water filters. They are nice and compact (I am going to post pics soon of all the stuff I bought, custom glass DBV set, essential oil dish, and this water filter I am speaking of), and work so awesomely. If not this piece, if you have a small bubbler, with a GonG connection, use that instead of a bong. Using the smaller pieces seem to work a whole lot better.

I did not read this whole thread, since i am not an SSV owner, so if this has already been covered, I apologize. I been vaping since Feb, and I have not combusted since, and hope to never again. Got a MFLB on the way so I have vape portability, and my DBV at home. Vaper 4 life. Peace.

I concur- Does it still get duller and brighter when you turn the dimmer? (might need to look at it in the dark)

(they do have EU repairs now, if that's relevant)

Ok im still having problems. I tried the dimmer in a dark room and nothing. It just clicks on and goes as bright as it can get. There is no noticable chang in brightness that i can see when turning the switch. Is that normal?

It is just about usable but i have to use a fast breath and snatch it away quickly before it combusts. But i am using solid.

Is this a common problem with them ? Do you know the details of the EU dealer because i dont really want to send it back and have to pay another 22% import duty.

No, it should get brighter as you turn it up, noticeable between max and min setting. And I'm sure you shouldn't be having ignition problems with hash. It does sound to me like a problem if that's the case.

I've not read/heard about it before that I remember. The EU distributor/repairs is http://euvaporizer.com/index.php?p=1_3_Contact although it might be worth asking 7th floor for further troubleshooting first (can't think what else they'd say though).

Yeah, the Waverider series is pretty neato burrito. Its pretty cool that they are starting to get some more designs under their belt. Id like to see some of the 'original' personalized SSVs that customers have had made. That would be kewl.

I remember when you did that design on your SSV (Still love it) But I think 7th Floor has been working on their WRS for some time. I was talking to them quite a bit when it came time to hunt down my Mind Eraser, and they were plugging this 'new design' (The WRS)

I like yours cause it looks like it cost a helluva lot less! :p

I've been using a SSV for the last few weeks and been getting the best Vaporized Rips of my life. I'm officially a 7th Floor fan. The SSV produces the most flavorful and biggest rips that I've gotten from ANY vaporizer. Most other Vapes give off a plastic taste or don't produce big enough vapor rips. Not this one.

My daily driving setup. I also own a MFLB but this SSV is my baby. I pretty much just combust with friends anymore. If I'm home or have a friendly place to bring the SSV and bubbler they are in use. Thanks to this site and the people on here my lungs feel the best they have in years!

Hi everyone!
This is Richard from 7th Floor. I'm a customer service rep for the SSV, DBV and the new LSV websites. I imagine that I've spoken with some of you ladies and gents before...
... I was thinking about a wand that can attach to multiple hoses/mouthpieces that more than one person can use at a time. A "party wand" or something like that. What do you think?
Hi Richard, it's cool to see you here (chatting with a celebrity!). The party wand is a fun idea. Would this involve a storage system, for accumulating vapor, so that the distribution of vapor will not be "thrown off" by uneven breathers?
In any event, hearing the ideas is fantastic!:)
