Painting my SSV: Haha, thank you, but I don't feel a need to paint my SSV. I like my basic color scheme a lot, actually.

As far as wand hash: I am regretting washing so much of this stuff down the drain. The jar idea is decent but I think I'd prefer something a bit quicker. Scraping the wand seems like a pain though.

I was thinking of having a big jar of ISO just for bud related recycling. I could throw my AVB or tiny crumbs of weed that are scattered on my desk in there and let it all just soak in there until I was ready to run it through a coffee filter.

I did just scrape out some wand has though and there was a LOT more than I thought there would be. I'm gonna try some now, for the first time.

Be careful, there is more than just oil that will be dissolved by ISO when placing flowers in there. Makes your oil less potent, changes the color and taste. That is why it is recommended to QWISO, or Quick Wash ISO, to make ISO oil, only 30 seconds of contact.

I've thought about keeping two jars, one for screens and one for wands, but the dust from screens doesn't add too much.

Speaking of screens, here is a comparison:

...Well... Uh... I'm not really looking for SSV screens. Actually, that's the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. I was just hoping that maybe you guys had the links to the screens you suggested for the mods on hand, since I wouldn't know what to search myself. If I did know, I assure you I would have done it myself.

So it's been a few days since I received my SG HC and Wand.

It's 10x better than the Spherical imo.
I am conserving way more now, and I am able to get thick tasty rips with a much lower heat setting.

I'm curious to try the GG now, but I don't see how it will be any better than what the SG already is.

So I'm thinking about getting the standard whip and HC, or the VB mini whip, but on the fence about which to get.

Fresh baked , for the screen mods all you really need is a bigger diameter screen than the wand. If you get some 20mm screens make a basket and push that in the wand to your desired depth .

Just search for Stainless Steel 3/4" or .750 pipe screens.

If you buy the EQ screen pack (Vapornation)(Planetvape) you get two domes and two 3/4" screens for $4.99. I bought a 20 pack of 3/4" screens thinking I would go through them quick, because of constantly removing and replacing my screens for cleaning, but with the EQ screen mod I never remove the bottom screen anymore. When it does get clogged I clean it off with a bit of ISO while it is still in the wand.

But if you want just bigger screens, it is cheaper than buying the EQ pack. Vapornation offers a 10 pack for $4.99 in 1/2"(.5"), 5/8"(.625"), 3/4"(.750"), and 1" sizes.

I finally put down my dab kit to try out the fatty wand. I love it. I can stick an entire gram of very dry material into it, which is just right for the large amount of poopy buds Ive got at the moment. You get better hits with the temp up a bit higher than normal, but I guess because of the large amount of material it doesn't scorch. I still haven't scorched a bowl even at temps that I have scorched regular wands with.

I haven't tried this wand with a gram of goodness yet, but im thinking it will be way over the top haha.

I removed my 2nd bottom screen, and now only use one regular .625 stainless steel screen at the end of my SGG wand (not pressed all the way down inside). This seems to work the best.

The screen doesn't move around, so herb doesn't get underneath and then sucked through, and there is no beveled ring to block herb on the edges from getting vaped.

At first this set up was a pain, because I kept flipping the screen while scraping the screen, but now that some resin has built up on the inside of the wand, the screen doesn't flip as easily anymore.

It sounds like you are talking about the LSV or using the LSV wand setup with your SSV as Vitolo has done.
