I am actually starting to feel the same way only because I too ordered June 29... It almost makes me think for some dumb reason they are shipping recent orders first older orders later and if that is true that just freaking pisses me the hell off..
I would also like to know why we have not heard from the vendor here in a while and where they are at and can they explain why newer orders are shipping while a lot of older ones are not..
Is GotVape ike actually a 17 year old kid working out of his garage?????

The Puffit by no means can be a daily driver. Especially if you vape more than 2 bowls a day like i do (I'm sure most of us here do). When I'm at work i usually only vape 2 bowls within my 6 to 8 hour shift. So for me it's perfect to use while working. I love it's stealthy design, no hissing sounds (iolite), minimal smell, no huge vapor clouds, and the best part is that i can take a few hits put it down and get back to it later.

Gotvape is registered but has never posted. We've only heard from Gotvape employees who registered as plain members, and for the most part posted as if they were simply Puffit fans/users. We don't allow that from dealer employees. If you want a Puffit now, then Gotvape is the main distibutor and you have to deal with them. They're not required to post here and explain their business practices. You can buy from Vapornation (don't know if they currently have stock but they're taking orders and they can be contacted), and other on-line dealers will have the product pretty soon as well.Kuroth1 said:

Sorry but management has the final say on what's on topic and what's not, and complaining about a dealer in a vape thread is off topic. We've allowed it to this point but enough is enough. I've never cared for Gotvape, and that goes years back. They're not listed on our recommended dealers thread, and that decision predates the existence of the Puffit. But here the topic is the Puffit, not Gotvape.

Was just told that someone is going to personally see to it that my Puffit gets sent out today! Including some freebies w/ it due to the enormity of frustration during this entire nearly month-long process. It was explained to me why it has taken so long and the complications that the delivery had gone through.
Its just amazing how much a little information can do to alleviate frustrations. The more information you can give people, the more people will tend to calm down. It is the not knowing and uncertainty and lack of information that I think is frustrating more than anything else.
Anyway, I'll be looking for that shipment notification today. If it is being sent out from the Jersey City warehouse, it should arrive in my NYC location by Tuesday, the latest. Will keep you posted.

hey.... you reply seems eerily like the one i got last night after i started a facebook campaign on the GV facebook page. i was simply stating the troubles i have been having with GV's customer service and my frustration with them while posting comments on a PuffIT picture they posted on their page. then out of nowhere i got this in my facebook inbox from someone that obviously works at GV. I am leaving out his name to protect his inbox from being flooded but here's how it went...

So I went to load another bowl into the puffit, kinda close to my face so I can see clearly (not used to the hole opening being way more narrorw than the volcano bowl so I have to be more careful to not spill) so anyways, when it was close to my face, not only does it have that funky taste when smoking, I can actually smell it through the bowl. I hope that fades soon because it's a weird off putting smell that bugs my head for some reason
Oh and I noticed sometimes when I pull off the cap it doesn't turn on or if I click it 3 times after the red light comes on, it doesn't check battery, so I guess it's kind of sensitive? It works, eventually lol oh and the mouth piece that goes OVER the temp gauge sometimes is very hard to get off, prolly cuz I'm weak

Someone mentioned mint leaves, I wish I woulda thought of that when I first got it. My friend tried using it last night and he was so bothered by the taste he went for the pipe...I still taste it and I'm on my 4th bowl, but it seems so touch and go with smoking it as well. One hit I don't get any visible vapor and the next it's a huge cloud. If I was to share this with my friends, they would think the device looks cool but doesn't put out enough to pass back and forth...
I hope I start to like it more

I haven't had a chance to even try mine, but this weekend for sure. Some people are going to be more sensitive to taste than others. From my past experience with other models, as well as whip tubing, I suspect the taste won't bother me as much as it does you. It's also possible that the taste will resolve itself for some and not others. If you read the Vapir N02 thread here (and on other forums), the taste issue is there strongly for some, and not at all for others. to the herb taste coming through just fine. And some are always going to attribute ABV taste to the vape, although clearly a bad taste has to be present at the start of the bowl, and not just after some hits have been taken.Also keep in mind that this is a small, inexpensive stealth portable and shouldn't be compared to larger home vapes. I very rarely use a portable at home, due to better options. Passing around a vape like this is usually going to provide a good bit of disappointment. Not everyone is going to get a fresh bowl or a good hit (or in some cases know how to hit it).

Yeah... after all of these posts with problems receiving units, units being a bit wonky with hits to battery ratio, and now taste issues... crossing this one off the list for a good 6 months. Hopefully everyone that touches the vape before the end-user ever gets it can get their shit together, although it seems like this is the first venture into vaporizers that this company has taken.
I also use cannabis for some bad nausea and pain (occasionally insomnia as well, although it's not as problematic.) The last thing I need is even more nausea on top of what I already get. The idea was great, execution... not so much this time around. I'll keep an eye on this one, but the taste and claimed vs. real battery life is off-putting. So is the fact that the guy who said he worked for them went MIA.
Question: do you have to pack it full and tamp it down? Can you just sprinkle a little pinch and get vapors? Sometimes my LB loads are enough to cover the floor of the trench and that's it. Sometimes that's all I need and see no need to pack a full trench for what amounts to 4-6 vapor hits. Seems kind of wasteful. Also also, someone with a unit, could you post some shots of the "bowl" part where you load it from? Or link me to a post if it's ITT.

This is bad advice, completely inaccurate, and could possibly get someone hurt. DEA is always at the scanning lines at just about every airport I go through, with dogs. Of course things are tighter at international terminals but once you are in line, and you see the dog, its too late, you're screwed. Now some dogs are trained for explosive residue, others drugs, the little patches on the uniforms of the cops give a clue as to what they might be looking for but the point is you are in a controlled and focused environment, no escape should you attract any attention by reacting to the dogs, oh and they do watch your reaction . . .
EDIT: Just in case you guys thought I was talkin' out my backside . . . this NEW scanner can tell what you ate for breakfast, no I am NOT kidding . . .
We have no rights anymore. This is unreal. Aren't vaporizers LEGAL? If I get aromotherapy herbs won't all be good? I don't get why I need a portable I can't travel with. I have a card, I am a legal user but as we know it is state by state. I was told on a site that talks about airports that the TSA if caught call the cops which is local so therefor you are still ok. I was also told that they are looking for bombs not drugs hence the dog comment. If you happen to know please advise me more. You get different answers from everyone. I know when I had to return my MFLB they told me to put it in tin foil so does that help somehow?
I still want to get this vape when all the issues are ironed out but would like to travel with it. Would putting it in the suitcase be better?

Yeah... vaporizers are as legal as bongs are. What you put in it determines whether it stays legal or not.
