Holy smokes, talk about spalted, very cool! Well done @Snappo I have a small Japanese Red Maple in the yard, its beautiful but grows so slow, love the color of the leaves, good find my man! Those blanks will surely make beautiful vapes!

I came very close to buying that too! It's so trippy!
Some here at FC have shown an interest in having custom mod vapes made from my exotic wood - these can be stabilized as they aren't subjected to the same degree of heat transferred to the wood that log vapes produce, so off-gassing is of no concern. Stabilized wood is also much stronger so it can withstand wood working much thinner design pieces. Please see example below from one of our highly esteemed FC members -

yeah but, cactus? It's killer and I'm baffled by it!
The stabilizing/hardening process permeates all of the cactus' cells internally as well as binds them externally to each other, yielding an ultra-strong solid piece.
