My girlfriend had the idea to vaporize some tobacco, so I offered the vapcap got the experiment and it works great! I'll try a spliff later. Using some Bali shag.

Does anybody else have experience or know of past thread posts about vaping tobacco with a vapcap? I noticed the instructions that came with mine said it should not be used with tobacco. I wonder why?

Bit of discussion, so I loaded a very small dose and used the glass top tek(will post video bellow probably lost in the thread for those who haven't seen)
First hit great huge extraction, maybe 35 seconds after click and still no declick but on the second hit I burnt it. Just seems funny that it clicks, prefect vaping temp no additional heat and yet it burnt.
Is it
Glass stores so much heat that the bowl will continue to raise in temperature for a long while after the click due to the radiant heat, or that when a load get close to done the temp needed to burn decreases? Or a combo of both?
Talking click, huge tatsy Vapor with no hint of charring or bad taste, 35 seconds out from the click take another draw initially tasty then burnt. Did have carb fully closed might work on opening it towards the end of the bowl (even a decent bowl with the glass top may be multiple hits but only one heat) and I might also move the flame up since you're also heating the glass I think the added heat of going low on the cap might be too much. 40+ bowls with this method including complete novices (showed the VC to 6 complete vape noobz easter weekend and they all LOVED IT!) and this is the first burn, just interesting that the heat would build like that with no addition flame added.

Confession: At the moment I like the OG more than the M! As some other cappers stated before, the draw resistance is huge with the M. Don't get me wrong, still love the M. I get more hits out of my herbs with it. And with the mouth pull technique my lungs don't feel like I've challenged Usain Bolt in a sprint duel.

This is really odd... The draw resistance on my unmodified M is really not that insanely tight. It's about the same (maybe a little looser) as my gen 2 Ti tip, which I found to be a little bit more free-flowing than my OG. I've also increased the airflow a little on my M by grinding grooves into the end of the tip (like the v2 Ti).

I wonder how much of this variation is subjective. If you're trying to lung hit it like an RDA I can see how it would seem very tight, but using a gentle mouth pull it behaves more or less the same as a tightly packed joint. That's my usual advice, treat it like a joint, only don't be afraid to take longer draws and hold the vapour in.

Makes me wonder, why does the M tip differ dimensionally from the Ti-tip anyway? :sherlock:

If you were to get huge tub then you will most likely throw it away before even putting a dent in it .
Actually purified bees wax will last indefinitely if kept away from light, air and moisture. I have a huge tub that is older than me that my dad bought. I've barely used any and I've finished, polished and shined over 30 stems.

Biggest reason is probably making that VC magic with a different material. But, who knows when that genius George is designing. Will hopefully see for myself soon when my M and rest of my 4/20 order hits the mailbox today. I'm out for delivery from local PO!!

Yeah, a different material to work with and Dynavap's goal in creating the M was to create an inexpensive but durable alternative to the all glass OG Vapcap.

So, I imagine that they needed to keep machining costs to an absolute minimum in order to create an inexpensive entry level vaporizer while balancing the fundamental elements of the Vapcap efficiency. So, less machining = fewer oring grooves, fewer and shallower channels and no chamber adjustment grooves.

The ti tip alone costs almost as much as the entire M vaporizer and but the ti tip is a much more finely milled instrument and probably takes several times longer to create.

My M is extremely tight/restrictive with a closed carb. When I first got it I thought it was clogged. I can only vape by either feathering the carb or covering it 1/2 or 3/4 way. I just assumed this was normal. I ordered the omnivap during the sale so we'll see how they compare.

Maybe anyone else with a "tight" M has any better techniques to share.

I'm having the same experience as @exime. From what I've been reading I assume it's normal and the posts about easy draws with the M are with the carb open.
+1

I still need to do some more testing, but I don't seem to be able to do those "mouth to lung" draws as suggested a couple of pages ago by @stardustsailor...which is weird since that's exactly how I used to smoke, both cigs and blunts, up until a couple of months ago when I got my first vape.

Well...I guess tonight the M and I will have a little reckoning....I hope it wins :brow:

@exime and @vapeanderson

Covering the air intake hole will restrict airflow but will create larger clouds and a more concentrated vapor.

I prefer to cover the air intake on my regular Vapcaps and the condenser on my Omni is dialed all the way out to achieve a similar restriction.

I prefer this setting as I have sensitive lungs and want the cooler smoother vapor achieved by mouthpulling my vapor rather than inhaling directly into the lungs like a regular toke.

Cover the carb and puff on it like you would a cigar. Pull the vapor into your mouth using suction with your cheeks - like you are slurping a milkshake. Then either feather the carb and inhale fresh cool air along with your vapor into your lungs or just open your mouth and inhale the vapor. This is much less irritating to your lungs and a very enjoyable toking method compared to direct inhalation methods IMO.

Myself when I tried for first time the M (with carb fully closed ) initially I thought "Hey ! WTF ?
This thing is clogged ! Something's really wrong ! "
And that's because I was used to the freely " lung-pulls " with the VG
and the long lung-pulls of Air .
And then tried with the carb fully open ,only to be disappointed once more .
Very diluted vapors came to my mouth and also cool down click sounded rather sooner than expected .
And then I thought " Well ,let me try some mouth pulls " .
Ignited the lighter once more, cap clicked soon after
so I sealed the carb and pulled kinda hard with my mouth...

Holy mother sea that you get peesed by the fish !
R-E-V-E-L-A-T-I-O-N- !!!!!
 Just WOW !
Now ,that's what I call massive thick vapor production !

Mouthpulls !
Cheeks are "sucked" in .
A brief hard toke .And then send it down to the lungs.
Or a series of short hard mouth pulls.
Massive clouds with massive effects !
:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

By now I'm thinking about ordering my next M(s) a bit customized.
No carb hole.I really do not need a carb hole to my M .
Seriously.

I wonder how all you guys used to smoked the Js... mouth pulling was def one of the ways... unless you haven't been combusting or you were like some friends of mine in uni that used to "waste" half the smoke and just inhale a tiny part of it :lol:
@Squiby and @natural farmer have been relentlessly describing this technique and it seems that it sounds all greek to many of you

The M is a real beauty... I've shown it to another friend of mine that we ordered our hoppers together and he was staring me with an almost jaw-dropping face... LOL They just can't believe and accept that this $40-vape may be performing better than the one 4x or even 5x its price...:whoa:
I have to agree with you @Dutch-Mic on the fact that you def not going to need an oxygen mask as soon as you've finished with your draw... :p

Just move the middle condenser oring down towards the tip to block your air intake.

Remove the tip and use the digger outter end to push the condenser out of the stem.

Notice the position of the middle oring in relation to the air intake hole. Move the oring down the condenser so that it will sit between the air intake and the tip.

Lubricate the orings with a bit of spit and slide 'er back into the stem. Insert tip, load the chamber, add the cap, heat and you're golden.

i hate you guys...i just ordered a fat mouthpiece, an exotic spinning mouthpiece, a magnet and some hemp twine stuff. i've got the bug and i haven't even tried the damn thing yet. :)

and by the way, well done dynavap, letting us add stuff to the order. i'm always ordering something and 20 minutes later wanting to add things.

they understand pot people. :)

crap...do i need an extra long condensor kit to go with my spinning mouthpiece. i just read that it makes spinning a bit easier??

i just went back and ordered some O rings. i hope they ship soon before i buy another one!

Middle condenser o-ring ?
There are only two.
The mp one and the other ,the a-tad-smaller -diameter one.
And because of it's smaller diameter I 've my doubts
about if it's going to provide adequate sealing.
Nevertheless, thank you ,I'm going to try it out .

:freak:
...But then, it's also that (useless for me )carb hole ,that I do not like at all.
Aesthetically speaking ,based on personal opinion/taste .

Cheers

So, due to the traffic in Dynavap, I guess I'm not the only one that hasn't received answer to his tedious queries... not the only one that never received e-mail confirmation of my order... right? And so I will not receive the shipping e-mail right?? And so I will never know when I'll have my VapCap in my hands... right?!:uhoh:
I know there's no need, but I'm back to say that @VapCap vaporized all my worries, @Arielle.Dynavap kindly fulfilled all my whims... and my packet should be now in flight across the ocean. Thank you!

This method may well be less effective on the "M" with it's slightly larger caliber tube. The x-ring may not close it off. Maybe blocking the air hole with the x-ring would be more effective.

I guess we are calling them condenser orings now.

Can't answer your question without more info.......what VC did you order or already own? The size of your condenser depends on overall configuration.

Mouth pulling can be more effective and less exhausting with something similar to that
hiZ1g7N.jpg

Im having the carbs closed(both on the micro and on the NonaVong and Im using my mouth as the carb kinda...
Unfortunately I cannot use it with water since I dont have the chilum but still, vapour is so smooth and much more satisfying..
