Just got the shipment notification for my DynaVap! Order placed April 7th, first contact from Arielle@Dynavap on April 10th, she said it will be picked up tomorrow and should be at my house on April 17th! She was even kind enough to include me in the 4/20 sale since I had to wait for a stock shipment delay.

Looking forward to rocking the M at the San Bernardino CA Cannabis Cup!

They did that for me too. Great customer service. Definitely really happy so far with Dynavap. I can't wait to actually get my package in the mail. I ended up going for both a M and Omnivap, with a Dynastash. Can't wait.

Yes. The M will take any 8mm screen. Both the SS and the TI screens offered on the Dynavap website will fit the M.

I have the quad lighter and had very good luck with it.
Any real advantage for the TI screens?
@CuckFumbustion , not to confuse you on the torches but for me , a butane and M newbie, I'm thinking of moving down from a triple to a double. If you want fastest click, go quad but I'm thinking a double will be lower/slower more controlled application to get the click. Just like cooking with a lower heat is more controlled. But everyone is different. I don't need/want fastest time to click.
A little bummed that double costs $20 and triple cost $10
There may be different schools of thought about torches. Even the vape critic got all 4 responses when he asked.
Glad you brought up the clicks. I will weigh in that. A few went into details into their heating and holding method which may also factor in what torch they rec'd.

The cost difference between the double and the triple has me wondering why? A rugged torch would fit my camping needs as well. Well at least I can narrow down the basics of the 'M' compared to other dynacaps and weigh in the pros and cons of buying extra parts and what would/could be considered upgrades for the 'M'.

So anybody upgrade or mod their 'M'?

The Ti CCDs are finer, the SS CCDs are a bit thicker but offer a bit more spring. Both can be flattened out easily with a hammer if they become bent. Even though the SS has more flex, I have never broken a Ti CCD in over six months of use.

I believe that the SS CCDs are meant for the OG Vapcap and the SS M tip, while the Ti CCDs are meant for the Ti Tips.

From a practical perspective, I imagine that using the same metal as the tip would ensure a better fit as the expansion properties of the similar metals would match.

Does this actually make a difference?? I don't know. But, I personally use the SS CCDs with the M and the Ti CCDs with the Ti Tips.

what would/could be considered upgrades for the 'M'.
That depends on what you want....

You can upgrade the 's SS tip by buying a ti tip.

You can change the SS M stem for a wood stem, VonG stem, wood body and mp, carbon body and mp or VonG body and mp.

You can switch out the standard condenser of the M for an XL condenser and mp and any stem.

By getting one or more of these options you can switch out parts to create a Vapcap for your every mood.

Hi VapCats!!! I recently repurposed an unused Puk, that I received for free. Why? Because, Fuck Combustion, that's why. Now it's two separate, sweet little VC stands!!! The magnets are powerful...

Yea, there is a certain integrity to the system being all SS or all one material for that matter. I would use the Ti with the Ti , etc. If I wanted to go that route.

For every mood? How about one for this mood? -> :freak:
Now XL condenser. :cool:Anybody want to chime in on that? XL Condenser link -> DynaVap

So I can, as a starting point work with an all SS 'M' and end with say a light weight pro version of my own and then consider the XL condenser. as one example. :science:

Now I feel like I've got my first circle of probing questions answered so far. :D Why so many probing questions for such a new vape that deserves such a following? Because I'm @CuckFumbustion :haw: and that is what I do. Investigate for clues. :sherlock: Thanks again FCers.

And more ideas surface. Do I want a magnet to make my portable setup? :hmm:

Alright first things first... Got my shipping notice!

A lot of talk about the value or cost of the vapcap. Yes I agree it takes a lot to run a business, and all of the machinery and what not to make these amazing things, but something I did not notice or read is re-sale value. I think that vapcaps are not only a work of art and engineering marvels in themselves but they hold their value. Since they are basically immortal (sans the OG), they really hold their value. People are willing to pay close to original cost for these things used. That speaks volumes. On the Ent exchange on Reddit I see them going for very close to original pricing. Also there are always requests for anyone interested in selling their vapcaps over there. There are not a lot of manufactured goods now-a-days that can say they hold their value over the test of time. If George made limited runs of specific woods or designs then I bet they would even increase in value. Shit that would make my VAS go on steroid overload though. I would have to get another job because the VAS would be too strong, lol.

Oh, and I voted on the vape critic site too. Looks like it was updated like 5 days ago. I am feeling Vapcap is going to be #1 soon on the list. #vapcapnationunite.

Arguments about the price point of any vapourizer are futile because only the manufacturers have the information needed, and they aren't usually willing to share. You can form an opinion but it's based on incomplete data and so everyone's opinion is ultimately unsupported and flawed. Value is not the same thing as price but it is subjective, so arguments about that are futile as well.

Please go back to discussing the VapCap and the 420 sales and whatever, and abandon this direction. Some of the posts have been getting too close to breaking the Be Nice rule.

A magnet is great for removing the tip when still hot or keeping the Vapcap stable and secure or to hold the cap and keep it from rolling away when filling the chamber.

A Dynastash is a fantastic way of storing your Vapcap on the go. They are very handy, not to mention beautiful.

So I could fashion a tool with the magnet to remove the cap. I am thinking through the steps I would need to be comfortable filling, emptying and refilling without fumbling.

The Dynastashs do seem like a platform for your dynacap. Almost tempted to buy a Dynastash from an FCer and I don't own a vapcap. :haw:

Hello all. I ordered the M on April 9 and am still waiting for a shipping notification, which is fine. I have been following along with the fun in this thread, though!

I do have a few questions. The Fat Mouthpiece fits the M, right? And is that the same mouthpiece as on the OG or is it a little different?

Also, in regard to the parts available on the Dynavap website, what exactly is the difference between a stem and a body and why would you want one over the other?

Go to the FAQ section of the DYNAVAP website

The magnet also cools the cap quicker as it acts as a heatsink.

I find most of the time I:
  • heat and hit the Omni twice
  • place on Dynastash magnet
  • wait for the click
  • pull the whole thing off the magnet
  • blow on it for 2 seconds
  • remove cap and use cap tail to empty avb
  • jam tip into ground herb
  • smooth off excess with finger
  • replace cap
  • rinse, repeat
It's a two handed operation but it's a quick turn around and becomes second nature.

Hi all,

Still haven't received my M in the UK yet and now Easter will force me to wait until Tuesday:(

I'm planning on picking up a TiGlassy during the 4/20 sale to acquire the Ti tip and another cap.

Am I right in believing that if I also purchase an omni condenser/mouth piece then all I'm missing is a body to have a fully functional omnivap?

Thanks for walking me through your common method. That clarifies things even more for me.

Thanks for the tip, mucsusn. For some reason I thought I had already read through the FAQ, but evidently not. So from what I can tell, the stems are the same length as a body + mouthpiece. Looking at the compatibility chart, it appears that the condensers extend all the way through the mouthpiece. This is making more sense to me now.

Adding a couple fat mouthpieces and some degummed hemp fiber to my order.

The compatibility chart is fairly new, finally a visual aid to help with the grown up legos.

Yes, the Fat Mouthpiece will fit onto the M. The soft mp on the OG is slightly thinner.

in regard to the parts available on the Dynavap website, what exactly is the difference between a stem and a body

Bodies are 45mm long and stems are 62mm long. These parts are called the midsection and they fit onto the condensers.

Condensers come in two lengths, standard and XL. The condenser determines the overall length of the Vapcap.

A standard condenser will accommodate 62mm configurations:
- a 62mm stem
or
- a 45mm body plus a 17mm mouthpiece.

The XL condenser will accommodate a 79mm configuration:
- a 62mm stem plus a 17mm mouthpiece.

what is the function of the spinning mouthpiece?
Is it to help when heating it/ to spin it easier? Or what?
thanks
The spinning mouthpiece can make it easier to twirl your Vapcap evenly while heating. You can cradle the mp between the base of your thumb and the outer edge of your Palm, leaving your finger tips free twirl your Vapcap.

Wait! I'm pacific standard time ... 10pm here for the 420 sale?

Same here! i can't believe it. I feel like i'm fleecing the hell out of them, and almost feel bad.
recent convert here, goddamn it, my underdog is feeling really lonely.

Need to get myself a Dynastash.
what a great product, seriously, can't say enough.

The customer service is awesome too. I mentioned that there was a typo, and they fixed it immediately.
This is a great company that I have no qualms about supporting.

I'll go through the thread a little more tomorrow, but as a quick question, is the Omni necessary or is the woody ti setup so right it really isn't needed? I really like the ti mouthpiece, but for the price difference I could be happy with the wood if the variable airflow isint a huge necessity.

Thinking about the 4/20 sale, damn VAS :)

1. Will all models stand upright on the DStash magnet (TI and Stainless M and Woodies ) to fill chamber?
2. I see pic of XL Omni but no such choice in the store?
3. DynaStash XL shown only in Bocote--available in other wood choices too?

I cannot find post on another option owners suggested, like buy the ZZ model as you also get a glass section so you just add A and B for another vapcap. I skipped it cuz never thought I'd want the upper models....but damn VAS...

EDIT---do XL owners (longer) find it easier to spin in your hand when heating vs standard?
Before getting my M I tried spinning a pencil in my hand and it was easy. With the much shorter M the spinning seems MUCH more difficult as can't have fingers extended/to avoid hot tip/ so it wants to walk around and wants to lift off my palm. Do you find the XL easier?

1. None of my VapCaps sit upright on the Dynastash to make filling the chamber possible. The Omni's titanium body and mouthpiece are not magnetic at all. I believe the M might be able to stand upright like that but I don't own one so I can't say for sure. Stainless steel is generally magnetic so it should work.

2. I believe that requires a custom order, but it should be relatively simple to arrange.

3. I have no idea, hopefully someone else can help with that.

Man these blew up, browsed the site last night and spent like 3 hrs on FC trying to catch up.... now they go on sale......

I have decided decided it's a sign from the vape gods.

Just have to narrow down my order. Might have to get an Omni and maybe a M too since it's on sale. The ER stash looks good it's gotta match my Omni then i need spare parts. this is gonna add up quick.

Have you tried the back and forth method of heating? I find that it's easier to keep the piece steady this way. When ever I try the spinning method it bounces and jumps.

With the back and forth method the Dynavap logo acts as a marker so you know that you're getting a full rotation/360 degrees. When I heat I aim to barely overlap the point where I started before reversing the direction I'm rotating.

This is more of a general question to M users/owners:

Does the M really get that hot during heating and usage that you can't get your fingers near the tip end of the body?
