I have read several times that a vape didn't require grinding. While that has been true more often than not, I usually find even a coarse grind increases performance quite a bit. I get bigger clouds and faster extraction. Flavor drops off faster the more you grind, there's always compromises.

The VapCap is probably my least sensitive vaporizer when it comes to grind size. Even no grind produces nice clouds, however, I find the clouds are bigger with ground material.

I pre-grind my cannabis so I have always have a supply ready to go. I'm almost always using ground material, but occasional as a flavor treat, or if I want to use a strain I haven't ground up yet, I'll pop off a chunk from a nug and stuff it in the Ti tip of my Omni. It works very well indeed.
I agree completely and have had the same experience. Hand torn (not really stuffing a bowl size nug in there but just hand torn) does indeed work but like your self I have stock of my herbs dried and ground for vaping and just use that. I just suck the herb up into the chamber and its right at .05 completely full with a fine grind.

Although not needed, and certainly we are all completely entitled to our preferences in vapor density, I too find that ground and well dried herb vapes very completely in three draws and that my load is extracted evenly through out.

I've been consuming cannabis for many decades and rather thought of myself as someone who can handle their weed. But a .05 oven in my OG is all I need before going to bed at night. When I have tried to go for a second bowl, I get it done but its almost too much. Very efficient device, in my experience.

Cheers

Hi from France guys, English isn't my mother language obviously but i understood 90% of the 306 pages i have read this past few days except some slang..

What a great project the VC has become since the early day, just WOW!!

I hope you have a little time to read & answer my questions :

I have just pulled the trigger on a OG at vapefiend and already i want an Omni with a wood body, so beautiful, it is vap porn for me^^

But I'm lost on Dynavap website...do i have to contact the team to choose before buying something or when you put in cart you receive random colors, ect..?

I was planning to purchase a full battery powered convection at first but i've got VAS now..i just don't know how it will cost with some custom choice i want.

For example can i buy a Omni and ask a burl or carbon body separately ? ( how much for it ?) and why not a extra exotic MP.

I can wait, that's not the problem but i wanna be sure to command all i need because i have fear to pay customs taxes from US to France.

I also want to know if i need to wait longer for a laser cap and new logo with a custom design on the cap and "new helix" tip ( sorry if i misspelled that)

I also need a wide airflow FYI

I waited to sign in until i read all that thread and now i want to be a part of that community, everyone seems to be very kind to each other and nowadays it is rare on the internet..

I even contacted the Dynavap team to help them translate their site because i guess it is really poor translated by a Google robot^^, i want french people to quit tobacco and say "Fuck combustion" ;)

I also tried the 420 or 0284 coupon code but no luck at all :/ maybe for US buyers only..

Thanks

Welcome to the vapcap's family Kaurelz!
This place is the kindest place of the Internet.
You'll be impressed by how kind and wonderful things are there!
We're all taking love puff on our lovely vapcap!

You'll enjoy reading this thread over and over, there's is golden in here! ;)

As for your example you can totally buy an Omnivap an add to your order (by the donation on the website) a spare body or whatever you want. A carbon body is 40$ if I'm correct. Wood body's price depends on the wood that's used. For that, you need to ask for what they have, or will have :)
But you can't add a wooden MP to the omnivap (yet I hope!) because the titanium one is threaded. Wood mouthpieces are only for woodys ;)

Although on the website, if you look at the woodys you can select the type of wood but keep in mind that they can have more woods in stock, so again, ask them!

And don't afraid to talk with us, Matt and George are wonderful guys, making the best for us. You will be impressed my friend!

For the new cap, I think things are getting close, you can make your order now and wait for the caps if they ain't here yet!

As for the reduction code, they don't work anymore, they were for the 4/20 and for the anniversary of the vapcap if I'm right :)

If you're going for an Omnivap you won't be disappointed. Thus things is awesome, zombie proof, and the variable airflow is amazing. You can set it and forget, play and experiment different things.... And that's such a beauty!

As for customs fees, relax and wait, as Bob say:
everything is gonna be all right! :leaf:

That's a really beautiful carbon case wich you have here!
Thanks man, glad you like it.
Can you tell us where you find this beauty? Then I can jump on it too! :p
I picked it up from a "crowd fund" type site I don't think they are available any more, but I may be wrong.
Here is a link where I bought it → https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/spiffy-labs/cache-stash-carbon-fiber-aluminum-cap
I just noticed they are made by Spiffy labs:brow:
Although your Ti tip's length is really short compare to others, is this an older version of the Ti tips, or have you modify this too?
No, no modifying the Ti tip. I'm using the Ti tip from my Gen1 Ti woody.

A cool pic of a heat-anodized OmniVap from r/vaporents:

Very nice! My Ti-tip is like that for a long time now since I first tried to heat clean it and the edge got "anodised"! I didn't like it part-time so I flamed the whole thing!

When I clicked on the pic, my phone zoomed in right to that persons grinder. Good grief, look at all the chips of anodizing that they've been vaping:tinfoil:

Sweet Omni though. I ordered some titanium tubing to make my own titanium body for my ti woody but it hasn't arrived yet. Hoping mine will look similar when I'm done.

Edit: looks like the chips are just on the threads so it might be fine. Still...

You sure they're pieces of anodization? I have similar looking places in my grinder, but they're just bits of weed that got caught and crushed and compressed into the threading. Shit is a pain to remove

@Kalessin good question. Could be weed. My grinder is black and a two piece and I've never had a silver one to compare. They just looked suspiciously like raw aluminum colored underneath. Let's hope it is just weed:)

Edit: Found this on Reddit too. Time to clean the condenser, me thinks...:uhh:

Received another order of misc stuff from George and DynaVap and, without going into details, they again showed their amazing degree of customer service and customer appreciation.

Way to go, George. THIS is indeed how companies cement customer loyalty (listening out there other companies??)

Truly spectacular...both the product and the service.

Cheers

I want to talk about the original logo for a second. It wasn't until I saw the new logo that I realized something about the old one. The vapor rising on the left always stuck out for some reason to me, and I just realized why.

I'm used to seeing depictions of joints and blunts with the smoke on The right side.

The Dynavap logo has the vapor on the left side, and on the actual VapCap the right (cap) side is sealed and no vapor ever escapes there.

I really like this subtle touch. It communicates that there is something different about this experience.

Maybe this is too obvious and has been stated before, or maybe it's the opposite and I'm overthinking and reading too much into it. Maybe the VapCap is just too effective with concentrates. :science:

Either way I love both of the logos, new and old. :peace: :leaf:

Hahahaha! Oh man! I am jealous of you and your concentrates!

For me, as I am sobber for a couple of months now, the vapor of the logo is at the right side, so it reminds a joint, smoke comes from the end of the joint! :p

Doesn't some tissue and ISO work for you?

I have recently discovered the VapCap. I only have the Solo currently (and actually a VapoCane that I get out for special occasions), but loving the look of this as I have always wanted something closer to an actual joint for instances like cooking, where I can have the thing hanging out of my mouth. Also great for out and about! I hope to be a member of the VapCap family soon! (And for £30?!!?)

Yeah, that price is fantastic. I've been skint all year, and this was top of my list for disposable income. Its great to not have to wait months and save hundreds of quids to be able to try a new top quality vape. So pleased.

I am thinking, as hard and stuck in as they are that wouldn't work, but I haven't tried it. I know that trying to run a sharp tipped tool over them to remove them requires a lot of effort though. But I don't really care that it's there, it has never affected the function of my grinder before

Exactly. Usually I'd be trying to get someone into vaping their herbs, but the £150ish entry price put people off (even though I would try to justify with how much herb you'd save), now they have no excuse!

I think a wooden toothpick would work fine, although I've never had an issue using 99% Iso and tissue. I actually soak my whole grinder (probably every couple of years) in alcohol, then evaporate for some free hash!

I know the feeling I've had two years of working my balls off but getting no where
Things started to look up this year so I treated my self to a woody and dynastash out of my birthday money ( usually goes on house hold bills)
And I love it I won't need another vape but vas will get me at some point
But I'm happy to finally own one at last

This morning; like every morning since a few days, I checked the mail box (envious).
Nothing. Well yes. A large packet for my Gf.

But this afternoon, a little voice told me "Go ahead, check again, anyhow.."
And there was the magic green envelope

The black Airtight tube is also awesome!

Already did few dry runs and had some loads. Thoughts ? -> :whoa::haw:

Okay, it's now time to make it encounter with my glass .. :goon::D

Edit: You know what would make it more awesome?
CCD screen, and helix tip !

So I've decided to get a 14mm wong, but I wanted to ask those who have had TI woodies since the beginning, is there a significant difference between the new tips or caps? I have one from the very beginning of the crowdfunding campaign, it is a much darker grey color than the new tips. Is there a difference between the new and old caps other than the awesome ingravings?

Trying to decide between just ordering the wood part, and ordering a whole new vapcap.

Hey Guys
I have a question regarding the screen replacement on the OG.

I received an OG and took its CCD to install it in my omni. Worked like a charm.

Now I tired to install a ceramic screen in my OG but it seems to be a bit to small. I just slides through.

Do i need a retention clip like in the ti tips. Do I need a diffenent Screen.?

pLS help me. Thanks guys.

Do you still have the clip from your omni? You might be able to stop it falling back towards the condenser with 1 clip but the OG uses 2 clips, one either side of the screen
