I read the tone of this as cranky, Sorry, I wasn't trying to push your buttons or anything.
I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, that was one of the main reasons I asked about the patent pending thing earlier, and why I am no longer planning on getting that blower to make those pieces.

If I'd put as much effort into kicking the legs out from under your livelihood and saddling you with that pleasant warm glow that comes from hiring a lawyer to protect your interests as you have put into doing that to me, you might just be a little cranky if I came around asking for a favor that is against your standard operating procedures.
You have not scored any brownie points for your large quantity of ill informed posts/pushed buttons that were clearly not respectful of my intellectual property. That was really not a good strategy for having any special request taken seriously. Please make a note of that for future reference.

Look, I'm honestly not trying to do anything but appreciate your work, I've said I was looking into getting a piece made with a scientific fritt, but after your input I an no longer considering that.
I was honestly asking if you have any intentions of releasing fritts for other blowers to incorporate into pieces.
A simple, no, I have no intention of that would've put your point across just as clearly.

If you have a look at any of my posts, you will see I have highly praised your work.
It is in fact my favourite piece, I traded a Sovereignty piece for it, and have absolutely no regrets.
It's awesome, and I wanted to look into using the tech in other pieces, you said you don't like it, and I have stopped my inquiries with that blower about a fritted piece.
WTF else am I supposed to do???

Hihi Dave yes I know: I only have small DI oil rigs and always use room temp water only BUT from time to time (1st morning dab for example) I have an icy dab for different reasons. Almost never use it in combination with your piece as it is such a filtered hit that the coil is a little overdue with the mini DG! I use it with "harsher" pieces (less diffusion/more flavor/more vapor) for 1st dab sometimes or for newb's 1st dab, for them to have a 1st dabbing experience with no "where are my lungs?" sensation
. As you stated the glycerin coil is better then real ice but yes clearly less vapor exhale, less flavor!BigDaddyVapor

You claim hash from plant matter with ice (one way). You're leeching the crap you want in your lungs, into the water, the colder it is.
At least that was my understanding of why you don't use ice water.

In fact, the majority of sales you've gotten off this site ARE BECAUSE OF FREDERICK (which aren't anything to lightly dismiss, other potential customers ARE watching). Man, when your piece came out, he lost ALL interest in anything, not including the initials DG. He jumped through hoops, to make sure he had one before anyone else. Since then, he has spent that time, singing its praises.
Frederick is one of the nicest, most polite and genuine people, I have come across in my forum days. He answers questions for people. Makes videos and informs about pieces he owns or has used. He makes good deals for people, when he cleans out his collection, to buy pieces LIKE YOURS. I haven't EVER seen him be disrespectful towards ANYONE.

With all due respect BDV, MarcellusWiley brought the attention to the Fritters and DG. How you figure Frederick is responsible for "the majority of sales" off this site is just fuckinridiculous. And he wasn't jumping thru hoops to be first, Marcelluswiley was first. What hoops did he jump thru? Call or email NVS and or ALT, and buy one, what effin hoops were in that process? Actually Fredericks 1st response were regarding how to have somebody else copy DG's design. If you like it that much, buy it from somewhere where the artist gets paid for it. Not go backdoor and have some local yokels to try and reproduce DG 's work.
I am sure DG is excited that his work is getting some new found attention, but what does he owe Frederick? Or any of us who bought his work. I bought a DG Mini from NVS and am really happy with it, but I don't think DG is bound to treat me some special way because of it. I hate the mentality of, " I bought your product and posted on the interwebs about it, ZOMG! I am biggest fan, I deserve something special for that."

No, it wasn't.
It was about applications for fritted discs outside of as a diffuser. (specifically as a screen in a LSV WPA - though I did start looking into the prospect of other blowers making other fritter stuff VERY soon after that. As far as I knew, I had a snowballs chance in hell of contacting DG to get some little custom LSV adapters, so I looked into another blower...)I wonder how hard it would be for another blower to produce fritted disc stuff?
I think it'd be the perfect thing to replace the screen/ice pinches in a LSV WPA
Perhaps BDV was referring to my trading a Sov piece for my mini-can?
IMO, I didn't really jump through hoops, I just saw the thread after Marcellus posted it, and knew I had to have one... ASAP
Then the mini can showed up on BM within a week.
And the seller was an Aussie - it was fate I tells ya
TBH, I've never thought of any of my vids as really advertising anything (Hell, I still thought of myself as pretty much a glass noob till some peeps around here started putting me in sentences with Pappy and StoneMonkey
), I'm just giving back to my FC buddies - I know vids helped me massively when deciding on the SSV as a first vape, and vids have guided alot of my purchases of glass.That, and it's fun making them

Go with me here for a minute (I'm assuming based on your name, and that you have a LSV, that you like 7th floor products):
Imagine you've tried many vapes, all were OK, some you even thought were perfect, but then you tried the LSV.
You instantly understood that it was the shit, it would be your daily driver.
Those other vapes you thought were perfect? Well, you use them once or twice every few weeks, because you still like them, but they just can't compare to the LSV.
Now, while looking at the LSV, you begin to understand how it works, maybe not to the level that 7th floor does, but you think you've got a decent grasp of it.
Then you think "hmm, I'd like it different to how 7th floor makes them, but They will never have the time or inclination to make such a small, one off thing for me, I'll see if someone else can do it."
Then, you actually get to contact 7th floor, and they tell you that your plans won't work and that they don't appreciate your getting someone else to make their product.
You apologize, honestly, and ask them if they are able to produce something like what you were thinking of, or if they could supply some parts for someone else to do it if they don't want to.
How would you expect 7th floor to react to your apology?
With hatred and accusations?

Well, I don't know why so many threads end up like this, but I am glad to have the fritt, and I don't care who found it first, or who's got the most unique piece, or that it's being patented. I know for a fact I enjoy using it, and would happily recommend it to others if they were looking.

I pointed out it was our friend MarcellusWiley, that was my intent of that specific comment, that Frederick wasn't the 1st. Not because I care, but because it WASN'T true what BDV said.
