Coraline (for the young-at-heart stop motion fans) was very cool last night.

That originally came out in 3D. Haven't seen it yet, but heard it's good.

We missed it in the theaters.. nice at home though on the big screen with the PD. There's a 3-d side to the disc, but for home use it requires the funky bi-color shades. Kind of dulls out the colors I like. RT gave it near 90% fresh. Kind of a made for kids & adults style. Very enjoyable.

That movie really skeezycreeped me out. I can't to this day get the scene with the dog out of my head!!!!

I can't vape to movies like that. It would only make it 20x worse for me :uhoh:.

I love getting myself so vaped that I am borderline stupid and watch horror movies. They used too scare the crap out of me. But now I've seen so many they lost their ability too scare me. Now I am searching for one that will. and in my travels I have encountered many strange and bazaar horror movies.

I don't get spooked anymore by a movie- but The Thing, that scene with the dog just DISTURBED me.. Movies that I thought were a decent horror of sort- The Orphanage (subtitled) - good suspense at times. 28 weeks later was way up there for me as a bloody horror. The original Ju-On, there's a scene that got me in that one too.. If you want to pass on recs for good horror- please do! I'm not a big fan of bloody slasher stuff with dumb blondes getting naked then killed, unless it's written well. :p

Have you seen Feast? pretty gory but a funny B-Movie.
Slither is good if you like stuff that is just disgusting.
I liked Midnight Meat Train, based off of a clive barker story.
Death Watch is a horror set in WWI
Devil's Backbone is a great one, if you liked The Orphanage
Let The Right One In, an interesting take on vampires.
The Beyond by Lucio Fulci
Ravenous is a good one as well...
Cemetery man is one of my favorites...
Dagon, b-movie based off of a HP Lovecraft story...
Dead Alive, over the top gory zombie comedy
Near Dark... another vampire movie.
Angel Heart
Jacobs Ladder

some of those are B-Movies, but the humor in them makes up for the bad acting...

Chopper Chicks in Zombietown... Billy Bob (jerkwad) Thorton's in it.. bad, but bad-good.

I've seen Devil's Backbone, Jacob's Ladder.. both good-

Kinda of horror, more vampire/detective- but I'd recommend Night Watch and Day Watch.. (subtitled).. very good but I'm biased- loved the books of the series, still need to read the last.

To Devo:
I had heard that- I also had heard they were low-budget, but that was just by US standards. Needed to google and see what they were- each a little over 4M. If you have not read the books- they are great, seriously.

Russia's spendiest one now is The Inhabited Island.. 36M+ for two parts.. no RT ratings. Now I need to see if I can find it at the Lib it's looks interesting..

Is there any buzz about a third Watch movie??

Still have not seen this, I will eventually at the Imax in town, also need to see Sherlock Holmes before it's gone..

Anyone see "Moon"- the scifi movie that was out earlier this year? It wasn't in all areas, but it was good.

While Vaked,...

"The Ninth Configuration" Most thought provoking

"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" " The Court Jester" if you haven't watched Danny Kaye, and can get past it being black and white, that is one funny SOB!

"Meet the Feebles" (Early Peter Jackson film) Funniest or at least the most outlandish. Think the Muppets on crack!

but mostly when I am that far gone,... too much work to put in a video or search for it,.. will just leave the tv on Comedy Central, Discovery, or History International.... if I want a good laugh, throw on Fox News... when the munchies kick in I watch Food Network,.... mmmmmm FoodPorn.. when it is real cold and snowy outside I watch the golf channel ahhhhhhh WeatherPorn
