My husband is a cougher too. My vaporizer didn't have any irratation for him at all. Maybe that would be good route for you as well.

that cheech honeycomb and tire perc look cool, the angle of the stem bothers me though. 7mil glass isn't bad, I wonder how well they are made. Anyone use them?

I've used a 12" cheech stemless showerhead it hit fine to me. This stuff seems okay for the price being stemless I hate downstems but most people won't buy it because they say cheech is a Roor knock off company it's seem they do a lot of knock offs I don't care about that. I do care about why kind of glass it's made from I've been reading for the past two hours about them and still know nothing about the glass it's made from. For the price why take a chance I can buy something Med-HQ and know what I'm getting or I could buy this because it bubbles a lot and looks cool.

He needs to add some bracing on his stemless pieces. I'd take a chance on that reverse showerhead tube. Not the way it sticks out there, however. I'd also be interested in how thick and quality of glass. He's proud of the fact, its all hand blown... but no mention of materials.

    Reverse Showerhead

Some good prices, if he's putting out good work. Look forward to delivery report/pictures.

Here's a friendly reminder to fellow "infamous" owners… Don't forget to take out the whip adapter when you're done! I had been trying to get myself to always remember to do this; I had already knocked it over a couple times, spilling a little water. It didn't help at all that my whip is 3 feet long, lots more length and weight to cause trouble.

Last night the whip pulled it over again, this time off the table and into the air, where it of course made contact with the leg of a chair, right against the 18mm GonG joint. Snapped it right off the bubbler. I'm no stranger to breaking glass so I'm not surprised, just a little disappointed in myself… I had been looking into getting a real VB hydrator, or a nice SSFG tube, or even a Lev piece, but I have to admit that the post-breakage mourning period has me thinking about saving up for a Steele Concept… Peace of mind and all. At least this was only $40, and the 18mm whip adapter and 14mm mouthpiece are still intact.

R.I.P. Infamous $40 Vapor Brothers Hydrator No-Name Knock-Off, you will be missed!

Any Ideas on how this would team up with the cloud. This is kind of what I am looking for though I am not familiar with the diffusion- Direct inject bubbler with dual perc cups - is it similar to a chugger ?

that perc looks like my friend's "inverted showerhead". his hits great, purrs, once we figured out the best water level.

how tall is that piece? i like the look of it

Nice piece, but there are a few things to consider when using it with the Cloud.

    1. That piece has a DI connection, you will need a female to female adapter for use with the cloud. Either 14/18 or 18/18 depending on the size of the male DI joint on the piece.

    2. The downstem is not 'braced' to the can. The cloud is a heavier vape and I would recommend finding a downstem that is connected to the can by a secondary brace. The joint from the downstem to the can may, or may not, be strong enough to support the Cloud on it's own. Should be fine for a while, but may break eventually due to stress.

    Hope that helps!

I am not sure. I wrote a inquiry on the piece, I hope to hear back soon. Would less than 100$ be a good price ? If I had to guess, 10 - 12 ".

Thanks Hoops, that was quite helpful. Really I am just looking, probably won't be buying anything soon until I really know what I want.

Emphatically, YES, that's a really good deal. BUT you get what you pay for when it comes to many things...including glass. You may go through (4) $100 pieces before realizing you could have saved a lot of time just buying one $400 piece, however glass may break regardless of the price, to each his own.

I have a GBD piece and Sam at GBD is actually a pleasure to do business with. I expect he will reply very quickly. I asked him to secure a showerhead and extend the length of the downstem on my GBD FC bubbler, he did it at no charge and without a problem. If you see a piece on his site that you want, but just need to change something on it to meet your needs....ask Sam about it after he reply's.

My GBD bubbler is 5mm Chinese artistic glass I believe. I can't see how anyone could offer this piece at $100 using anything but Chinese glass. Which is not necessarily a negative to many.

I also can give a thumbs up to OGB. I had him make a custom mouthpiece for my FC bubbler. He was very helpful and got back to me right away, and I've had no complaints what so ever. About the use of Chinese glass, I know that a few of the blowers here on FC source their Boro glass from China. There's been some discussion herer as to whether Chinese sourced glass is quality or not. So every piece that I've gotten that the glass has been from China but the blower was here in the US has been excellent.
