You can more then likely go to that place, I think it is called battery plus, and they will do it for you. I believe someone said 5 bucks in another thread about a different vape but one of course not as easy as the solo.

That was for the Pax vape. Batteries Plus soldered the tabs for $5. I'm not positive, but I don't think batteries plus would have an Arizer Solo battery pack.

Just contact the vendor, they should exchange it for you. If not, Arizer will replace it.

Ataxian, you should have an edit button at the bottom of your posts... There's no need for 3 in a row...

Have you tried contacting arizer directly?
Or just the retailer you got it from?

If you've tried the retailer only, try contacting arizer directly and let them know what's happened - you bought a solo from a retailer, it's seems to be malfunctioning, and the retailer isn't willing to help you.

They should help you out, I bought my 1st solo from a most definitely not-authorised reseller, but arizer still hooked me up when I started getting some chipping in my ceramic.

After Work Solo Session tonight with my new glass piece that arrived on my doorstep New Year's Eve. This setup fits easily in my DBV bag for easy traveling. in fact I took this setup over to a buddy's house last night after work. He had a friend over who had never hit any vaporizer, both really enjoyed the taste and smoothness through this glass piece. One said he felt like james bond vaping with the techy looking Solo. This portable vape does it ALL and seems to suit ALL that try it. My  Arizer.

Edit: I REALLY need to get one of those PVHES GonG 18mm...

    Hmmmm.
    AMAZING!
    And quite inspiring!

Does anybody know of any EU (Dutch) shops selling these?

For people who don't live on the American side of the globe mostly it is quite cumbersome, if not impossible, to order anything from America based shops. Also the costs to have something send to you from America can be more than the price of the item, so it isn't economical for EU based people to buy anything from America based webshops.

They are produced and sold by planetvape.ca
No one else sells GonG (or high efficiency) stems that I am aware of.

Wasn't Arizer claiming that there are no temp or firmware differences between model numbers? Are they still trying to stick to that story?

There is no way that there is not changes to the firmware or temperature spectrum. Out of all of the units I have used, I've noticed that newer units heat up better, last longer, and don't suffer from the skipping light issues my older one has.

    Mystery solved!
The LEMON is now my driver.

    Changed batteries!

The green wrap is now in the black one.
Need to change out the blue wrap batteries.
Easy to make one with some good quality 1650's!
Looks like I will have two good units after all.

I saved it , because I figure it may be useful someday ....keep us posted .
    I got my M107 ( Silver ) from Puffitup last 07/12 .
    I get 2 to 2 1/2 hrs of straight usage on level 5 and 6 .

It has been my observation that the Silver M107 has the least problems reported . imo
Need more input to prove that one ....

    Hey ataxian ,
nice work , let us know how much better it works . Time wise , stems , sessions .

There's only a one year warranty on the battery .
No one's mentioned how much ? this would cost to get a new battery replaced by vendor or Arizer ?
I'm sure mine will need to be replaced at some point in time .
I might try buying off amazon for $ 15 and attempt to do what ataxian did .

There's bound to be one specific model with the least failures, but that doesn't necessarily mean its less prone to failure.

My Silver M107 works like my newer black one once did..
My Black one is now working on level 3 and thick white sweet clouds with NEW OG KUSH.
I'm going to have my Silver one Chromed dipped.
I will get some Japanese made 1650's and replace the dud batteries.
ARISER has a nice design and some good parts however it looks like they got a weak batch of batteries.
I love my SOLO's and stoked that I took them apart and learned them pretty well.
With the straight glass stock stems they work amazing!

    Agreed ,
But I'm even narrowing down to specific color , Silver .

    Just an observation , that's all .
Will need more input of owners .

You might be onto something, although i recall dreamer has a black solo that had some batery problems as well. maybe it is a bad batch or a worse brand..

Either, i think the last series like mine, m1a3 are better than some that came before.
It seems to me that Arizer has responded to some of our concerns, indirectlly or not, and addressed the problems in the M105 units that had lower maximum temperatures and other issues as heating time and battery duration. The only thing i keep hearing that could be improved is the SS bowl.
It seems, from what i have read, that users who have the versions with a ceramic bowl still prefer them for taste over the SS unit. I have the same opinion as i notice an improvement in taste from the Solo to my WW, which according to some of what is said here should not me as noticeable imo.
