Howzit Enrico and the Sublimator Fam!

Much mahalos from an old-school, Hawaii pakalolo loving joint smoker . Braddah Enrico... you've elevated my highs to new adventures! Kudos and congratulations on an amazing, innovative device! I fell in love with the Sublimator after ripping my first bowl and ever since then I've advocated it to everyone in my cannabis circle, shared the Sublimator experience with my friends, my cafe, and those interested in giving the Sub a try and the concensus is... EVERYONE LOVES IT! :) With the convenience, availability and interest favoring concentrates, I remember someone saying... WOW, the taste of the flowers, this Sublimator will bring flowers back, plus you can do both, WIN WIN!! ;)

Btw, not sure if you require a workforce in the United States, but more than happy to represent the Sublimator brand! Aloha :)

One thing that really stands out with the Sublimator is it will reduce the number of total inhales. This saves much time and my lungs haven't felt better in years.

.2 in Sublimator is one inhale
.2 in Volcano is at about 12 inhales ( 3 bags)
Yep I love this too. I can do this with my enano, but that high is way too sleepy, the sub extracts without giving me that super sleepy high. ( unless I choke down a half gram in a session, even a quarter gram will do it)
My sessions are a little lighter tho, I tend to only do 2-3 hits that are only .05 or less. Not even a mflb trench. Just a nice light sprinkle where I can still see the screen.
At night is when I will up the loads and bring out the good buds. Helps keep my tolerance in check and I don't feel as foggy. I find most vapes to give me a more sleepy high which isn't good for the daytime. Especially RIGHT after work when I'm super tired. A nice light session to help my muscles relax and then at 8pm I have my sublimator party. I like the way I can dose better the any vape as well, I can choose the high I want depending on how many perfectly toasted hits I take. Just ranting away, blah blah blah blahhhhhhhhh, sub on

Just drilled a hole in the bottom of my plastic tube on my limited edition kit for a carb. Have to very stable, slow and careful but it is amazing. No more pulling the giant Apollo out the clear the tube.

Thanks for the video. Damn, I am so glad to hear that the 2.0 is coming. I do have some questions for those who have done double deckers. Do you find it a little harsh when it comes to using around 40 watts? I seem to be getting almost really dark brown (close to black) and I wonder if this might be a bigger problem when the Ti comes. I wonder if the inlet holes will be hotter instead of the bottom set of holes so we don't end up scorching our buds during a double decker. Is there a perfect wattage for double deckers? Cause I find it hard to dab at 32 watts. My sub still maxes out at 54. No buzzing noise today. Went override at 10 PM. Apparently the sub doesn't buzz if using the 30 minute mark appropriately. Override should be only used for 1+ hours but suggest that less than 3 hours to keep sub in normal working conditions without buzz.

Not being able to override the timer on the new units is kind of a bust. I understand Enrico did it for enhanced safety, but lets face it, the sub is a dangerous tool that need to be used with extreme care and supervision.

I do like that the power box and heating element can can detached now though. I might be able to deal with not being able to override if I could trade my unit in for this new, more serviceable and portable one. :brow:

I really hope when the TI sub is released that I can just buy the screw-on piece instead of a whole new sub. I've never unscrewed mine, but I know it can be done.

1 hour auto shut off is trash.

Can't wait until someone starts modding units.

I have had my unit on for about a month. No buzzing from timer. I'd try to double deck between 33.5 to 40 watts, depending on your dab size and temp prefernece.

1 hour time limit with no override *might* be OK if the initial heat up time was drastically reduced to say 5 minutes or so with the new version.

I do like the look and versatility of the new model, 1 hour timer isn't too bad, but I feel after just dropping $500 on my first one, which is only 6 mo. old and still performing up to my expectation, I will likely hold off on spending more $ to simply upgrade, unless I started to experience failure within the warranty time period. I guess what I would really like to know is, if we do experience a warranty issue such as heater failure, will the replacement be the latest 2.0 model, and will there still be extra upgrade charges for warranty covered replacement? I understand about the shipping etc...

The heat up time for the Ti Apollo still takes 5 to 7 minutes? Daaang I hope turning it up to cleaning mode would help speed that up drastically faster than the ones we got right now.

I love My Sublimator!

My Sublimator is voice activated! I call up on the phone and tell my gf to set the wheel to my predetermined painted marks for either Organic Flower, Flower, Flower w/ Kief , Hash double deckers, Wax , Crumble or Shatter.........

I love the shape of the new sublimator looks way more practical!

Hate the fact that it has auto shut off - im hoping a wemo will be able to control the new sub otherwise I'll be looking into log vapes that can be left on 24/7, for my next vape.

Mind you I'd probably still pick up a quartz sub! I wanna see pics!

I don't see the bottom of the atomizer getting to optimal temp in 7 minutes. Hit your Sub after it has been on for 15 minutes. Then wait 45 min to a hour and take another rip. The 15 min heat up rip, will not be as good as the hour heat up rip.

If you don't have a Killawatt meter your local library should have one to use for free. I have seen em for for efoaround $15 recently. That's about wholesale price.

Quartz Glass Atomizer sneak peek please! I have been fantasizing about this for a while. Would be super nice to see all the action taking place. I just want moar! Sweet new xlr connections. This makes the warranty process easier and replacements can be sent out in a jiffy.

The ergonomics have definately improved on the xlr models; however, "the unoverridable" part sucks! I've had my Apollo and Ti-Nail on non-stop and never have any issues. I keep them on their own individual base creating two blends of sublimate (one from the flowers and the other from concentrates). When doing double deckers i have found a.) either your abv is burnt or b.) not enough heat for the dab to vape efficiently. I can't seem to find a temp to do both correctly. The dabmaster looks like an amazing tool just not for me. The quick connects are a great idea only if the warm-up times have improved, otherwise I prefer the separate units plugged in and at optimal temp 24/7. I can't wait to c what the quartz will be like may upgrade the Apollo. Hopefully by that time someone will have figured out a way to override the new timers.

withdrawn, i understand what your saying but i do not agree with it. When something is this expensive. I feel as though I am entitled to the best product of that line when it comes out within a 6-9 months of what i would consider the prototype. The whole original sublimator line should be upgradable based on the original pricetags of the units with the appearance of them vs what is coming out. We'll see what the pricetags are and how everything is handled but my doubts have been voiced by other members as well already. Love you enrico and subculture but dis is verrrrryyyy espeensive in this short of time. That being said sticks model cars that come out that are new are very nice out of the gate and usually only have a few problems like you said, and the upgraded versions have a few nice tweaks usually and are just a bit nicer overall. We all bought into honda civics for 500-800$, and i believe enrico will be coming out with what look like ferraris for I would guess 1000-1200$......not necessarily performance wise but boy do they look prettier, more convenient, more reliable.....the list goes on............................. I love my sub and have been told by Enrico that I was his very first customer back in late May/early june so i have had love and have had faith all the way through. but it makes me regret buying into the product line as early as I did over and over and over. Ive never heard of people buying into a product like this as early as we did and it being handled like this sticks, but I guess I'm new to the community.

@Brayden

Your frustration with not having the latest model is shared by many with a lot of vapes. I get the frustration, but not the complaint. If you are happy with the transaction and the product then everything is working. I don't get why people think that the vape they bought shouldn't be improved upon. New model cars come out every year and everyone knows they will want the newest one when it comes out. I would be disappointed if I got a vape that I knew wasn't perfect but the company wasn't working on making it better.

I'm not trying to defend enrico and the company on this, nor do I want to single you out. Posts like yours happen a lot around here and I never think it makes sense. I will say that at least with this vape, I agree that some things should have been better out of the gate like the amount of exposed hot surface area and the dial temp control that is way too tight.

I agree with you completely, @stickstones. Does anyone remember the cost of a new PC less than 20 years ago? And, there was nothing perfect about that product; it seemed as though processor speed was improved with new models that came out the next day. The same can be said of cell phones.

Also, it seems that people are not considering the perverse incentive that would be created by forcing producers to upgrade consumers' models for "free" if the new model comes out within, for example, 6-9 months later. This would create an incentive for producers NOT to improve a product lest they incur the cost of all of the "free" upgrades ("free" is in quotes because there is no such thing; anyone running a business can tell you that).

This is a very unique product with a very small niche customer base to begin with when it first came out. If im incorrect about that than I bought into this with a different mindset than others. I bought into this feeling very personal because of our "Subculture". I guess I should have lowered my standards and realized that I was buying into the earliest stages of a product and that I ultimately should have waited for the DRASTIC MAJOR improvements to be made. Thats what you get for buying in early and being impatient I guess :( makes me sad its alot of cash to dish out to not have the best of the line. I do love my Sublimator though and it is the most amazing thing i have ever smoked. It would just be nice to have the upgraded entire setup for a decent pricetag :(

well I understood the dial was going to be touchy and that I would have to mark it my self, cause I watched his video telling everyone they would have to do that........... I new it sounded like something that would be improved later ...

but the one thing that kinda annoys me it the super short cord from the controll box to the Appolo It is only 2 ft. long! Why so short?

I have leaned back hitting it pulled the box off the table and all most pulled the whole thing to the floor twice.

Why? And I see in the video it still looks like a little short cord on the new one? wtf?

I am going to find a nice long cord and solder on some extra length......

edit- after watching his video again I see the connector is in the handle not the cord -so fuck... never mind.
