I've been there quite a few times but I must admit the only northern city I know is Chiang Mai :( Anyway welcome to the forum. I'm new here myself. If you every have the time I would love to hear about your experiences growing in Thailand. Such as great place imo. Would definitely consider a permanent move there in the future.

Hi guys and girlies, greetings from Asia.

Here is an attempt by me to post my first post here at FC.Have been lurking here for a couple of month and now signed up..so here i go.

First things first,i'm a 99% Medical user and with that i mean i use my own Organicly grown herb as a medicin.About 18+ years ago i had a diving related accident were i nearly broke my back.I had one falied surgery L4-L5 disc, relaspsed one year after surgery + another herniated disc, this time S1.So for the last, moore or less 17 years,i have been trying EVERYTHING for my muscel/legspasm/cramps and nothing really helped me.
-2005 i tryed Cannabis for the first time, and i could honestly say it was a instant "hit".I could for the first night in manyyyyyyy years sleep true the whole night without waking up and have to walk off may stiffness and pain.

So i was hooked, started to read everything i could find regarding CB and my back problems.About a year later i did my first own attemt to grow my own CB.And after that i was really 110% HOKKED.

So here i am today, nearly no moore pain in my back,i medicate with my own crosses of cannabis,in the last two years i've only had like ONE day without herbs..BUT i never increased my dose, which is ruffly around 0.2gr/night.
I only vape before i go to bed,and i use my awsome Plenty vaporizer at 6.5-7.0..highest setting is 7.And when i have my ABV jar full i do some brownies..

My first vape was Herbalaire 2.1..a really good buy, that i sold to a friend who loves it..no issues with HA at all.But my Plenty is better, and so was the pricetag..hehe.I've use my Plenty every night now for 6-8 month,do not remember exactly..And the Plenty is AWSOME.
Huge clouds can be the result if you not watch yourself.Taste is good, better then HA..I have had NO PROBLEM whatsoever with both of my Vapes,i guess research is very important,BEFORE you buy a Vape.

And now waith for custom clearence is my Aromed 4.0..can't wait to try it out.I post later a "review"of what i think..Plenty vs.Aromed 4.0..if you find it intresting.

So i'm nearly done with my first post,i hope you found my post an OK read,if not,i'm sorry. This is like two post for the price of one...Intropost + Best/Worst Vape Purchases..well so far i have had no Wors one only good once so far.

Thank you for reading my post, take care as love flyes your way.

Welcome to the fraternity. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures and vaporizing experiences.

Hello FC Community,

Greeting from South Florida Here. Have been lurking around for a few months now and decided it was time to sign up. You guys have helped me alot.

So to tell you a little bit about how i found out about this forum. I have for the last 10 years been combusting. And my poison was the big Dutch Masters Palma cigars. For at least the last 8 years i have smoked between 2 - 3 of these cigars a day to medicate. i finally decided that the cigars had me addicted in some sort of way (for not really wanting to change) and decided i needed healthier alternatives. Also i had lots of troubles when not sleeping at my house (in-laws) and was unable to medicate. Too much smell and so my adventures began....

I started with a portable vapor. I went on the hunt and was interested in the Solo. I couldn't find it in any LHS and i found a Vapir NO2. I am impulsive and just bought the damn thing. (onset of VAS maybe??) Well I wish i would have waited for the Solo, or even the Pax but it does the job well. I can medicate in my car or outside at the in-laws. So for my needs it delivered and have been pretty pleaseant. Its reliable and pretty versatile. Probably will end up selling for a Solo or Pax because i have a pretty high tolerance. But thats a side note...

Anyways since i was getting into Vaporizing i wanted a desktop vaporizer and was searching my local CL and found a guy selling an SSV for a $100. DIdn't even have a picture but was intrigued. A light clicked in my head bringing a memory of seeing those letter on the nice vape in the LHS for $300+. So to make a long story short (lol) i came upon this website and began reading. The guy said he "upgraded" to a volcano and wasn't using it any more. I read a little here and took the chance (impulsive again). And WOW!! A whole new world opened up. I'm glad to say FUCK COMBUSTION! seriously. I havn't combusted in a while now and am super happy.

**Sorry the long post.....side effects of my SSV.....VAKED!

Sup.

New to MMJ entirely. Had a motorcycle crash couple years back while I lived in Texas that left me with pain in my hip. Saw some Docs and did a little physical therapy. Helped, but only short term. Moved back to my home state of California and saw a Doc who recommended alternatives to chemical pain meds.

Got my MMJ endorsement, did my research, bought a MFLB, and been happy since. In fact my first time ever using my portable, I caught this on video. Was soooo wild

Welcome all. :D Glad to have you.

Ray Ray... hate to tell you but that's no hawk. It's a turkey vulture. You can tell by the wings (translucent at tips and spread apart a bit) and also the red head. But a cool vid, none the less.

^^ F*ck I knew I should have researched that! :bang:
No problem. Welcome to FC! I did mean the Welcome as well as the "That's a vulture"... and, you know what, vultures are COOL. Depending on where you live, some hawks are also black.

Hello all, the name is Fabian! I just recently got my vaporizer, as bowls just weren't doing it for me anymore. I'm happy to be here! I'm Hispanic, albeit born and raised in the United States. I look forward to my stay and meeting new people! :)

Cheers!

As most everyone has said above me, you guys have helped me so much starting with which vaporizer would be good for a beginner. I got the Extreme Q and after all the help here on how to use it, I haven't smoked in over a month...sounds gross now! I'm a medical user here in the great state of Washington, Seattle to be exact where we have a cannabis market with many vendors down the street, the only one open daily they claim, in the country. Plus a dispensary about every 2 blocks near me. Or I can have it delivered.

I have recently discovered the joy of wake and bake edibles. Good times! :)

I was going to experiment with making a ABV tincture but the wise folks here have steered me away from that. Anyway, thanks a bunch for all your help and I'm delurking now.

Hello all! I first began vaporizing when i bought my volcano in late 2008 ($560). After years and years of breaking bowls and bongs, i was pretty happy. It seems as though you get more affect from vaporizing as opposed to smoking. Eventually, I stopped buying the Stortz and Bickell bags, and began using the oven bags (turkey size) as they are both more available and economical.

I let a friend borrow my 'cano two years ago. It was like pulling teeth getting it back. When i came to pick it up, he accidentally knocked it over on the dial. We tried to repair it, but it has a bimetal thermostat that is specially calibrated to turn the heat off and on. Since i purchased it from e-bay, i did not know the unit was originally purchased from S&B 3 years prior, and hence it was not eligible for any warranty repair. As a side note: to this day, i haven't sent it to S&B because i am afraid there is all kinds of residue that can be potentially incriminating.

So i needed something, and something quick. I researched the vapair nO2, and after reading many positive reviews, i forked over $120 and it worked pretty good (not as efficient as the 'cano). I was even able to bring it with me on vacation in my luggage. This was a bad move, because i left the charger in the hotel and didn't realize it until i was home.

Now i needed another replacement, because the $30 replacement charger just turned me off. Since S&B was the biggest vaporizer company, i wanted my next vape to come from them (either a new 'cano, or the new plenty). Bought the plenty, and liked it. But... it just doesn't seem as efficient as the 'cano. That's when i found the FC forum. I lurked here for research, and was curious about the Cloud by VapeXhale due to the rave reviews by forum members.

Now i must say, the Cloud is the best delivery system i have ever used (i lived in Amsterdam for 4 months!) Extremely efficient, water purified vapor, and if you purchase an extra set of screens, it is amazing! The only knock is that it takes about 7-8 minutes to heat up to the highest heat setting. Couldn't be happier!

I am now very interested in the new wave of handheld vapes. There are great things said about the Pax and Cera. Honestly, i will purchase both and see which one is superior.

My apologies for such a lengthy introduction, but i just wanted to share my vaporization experiences with the board.

Happy Vapes!

Hey what's up everyone, I'm HazeSmoke. From New York. I'm new here, just registered but have been a long time lurker. Though I'd come by and say hello. I really like the community here and want to be a part of it. I have been vaping for a little over a year now but still have lots to learn. I read some great tips and reviews here before that have strongly influenced me to make or break a purchase. I come here first for feedback on any device before purchase. The devices that I used are an iolite, which I had for a year, a cheap wooden desktop vape that arrived today and a Da Vinci on it's way in the mail. Am looking most forward to the Da Vinci out of all those by far. Thanks for having me and I'll do my best to contribute.

Greetings, fellow entities. The name was the first thing that attracted me. I'm an old fuck, 51, so old that the name "fuck" in a web site is a fucking breath of fresh air to me. "Fuck" is such a beautiful word, not used often enough in a positive way, as in, "Damn, this fucking site is cool," or, "What the fuck was in that Chernobyl wax? Actual fallout from the fucking reactor?" That, and vaping, which I am fairly new to, brings us together.

New to vaping, but old friend of pot for more than 35 years. And now, residing in Oakland, California, a legal friend of that old friend, with access to concentrates up the Proposition 19 Wazoo. Getting tired of smoking them off of aluminum foil with a straw and a Bic like some friggin smack addict so I can't wait to figure out how to use 'em in my new rig.

Just bought a couple Joyetech eGo-C batts, clear carts, juice - and damn it works and tastes good, and I'm sure this will help me kick the analog cig habbit. Now I'm trying to figure out if I can use this with hash oils and waxes, and admit to being a little lost in all this information. Don't want to be a pain in the arse in my first post, but if anyone can kindly point me toward a few links, you will have my vote for Pope.

Specifically, I wondering what's the best cart to use with the eGo batt for oils/waxes? I'm guessing one that is wick-less, right? Uh, I guess my ignorance is showing. I'd just hate to soak up a wick with a gram of oil only to have the sucker burn out quick or not work well at all.

Peace and thanks in advance for any Hellos and responses!

So Very Modern
Hello, FC peops!

I began using medical cannabis just a couple of months ago and almost immediately started vaping, as it seemed the most efficient way to test individual strains for their various effects. Researching and lurking here at FC has been really helpful, and I'm pretty sure I've only seen the tip of the information/community iceberg here.

I have an autoimmune disease and several things going on with my spine that cause me to be in constant pain. I also have narcolepsy with cataplexy. I take immunosuppressants and a bajillion other drugs (jk,, prolly only a half dozen most days) I use a wheelchair and I have a service dog (Amazing Grace O'Malley - if there is a place around here where y'all talk about your dogs, someone point me there!).

My hubs has IBD and depression, and he's been experimenting with cannabis as well. It's been an interesting journey, as we've both been pretty much de facto (rather than ideologically) straightedge since we've known each other. Getting high together has been hilarious and kinda cool. It's nice to see him giggle.

We're in California, where it's super easy to get MMJ, which is great. We got a Silver Surfer two weeks ago, after using Atmos (*cough*) vaporizer (*cough*) pens for a bit. ZOMG, what a difference!

Um. Hi. Thanks for reading.

p.s. I see this message board's spellcheck and I aren't going to be BFFs.

Welcome, Shiva!
I know exactly where you are coming from... while my hubby used a bit of MJ when he was in high school, I never touched any drugs, at all, never smoked, and rarely drank alcohol. We both hit our lovely 50s, and discovered way too much pain in our lives (he actually blew out a disk, and had a couple of years of PT, and then was told he'd never get any better. I have fibro and degenerative hip stuff), and so we have spent the past seven months doing the same thing... getting high, laughing our asses off, taking notes, trying different strains, etc.

It's a good thing to enjoy one's medicine. :)

Welcome to FC! We can be a very entertaining group, at times.

Thanks for the welcome. Enchantre, your story sounds so much like mine! Does "The Wet Coast" = PNW? We moved to L.A. from the PNW, and I miss it so much.

Hi everyone. We're Vape Forest. We are silly dudes who like to vape. We sometimes make hilariously inaccurate videos that get us ridiculed on forums such as this one :smug: (check out the Ascent video we made to see what we're talking about). If you're reading this and you're not vaped, something is horribly wrong.

Hi my name is grokit and I'm an addict

I'm addicted to buying vaporizers so I'm going cold turkey now

I am an extremely obsessive individual that has made almost 250 post in the 27 days since I registered here. I lurked a bit before that but not much. I have already shared quite a bit but not here so I'll try and keep it brief; you're welcome.

I guess I tried to start vaping back in the mid '90s, when I picked up one of those glass globes with the little hot plate and the rubber hose at a big bluegrass festival. So that didn't exactly work out.

About a decade ago I picked up my first SSV and loved it, but did not know about reclaim, nobody else I knew was into it, and I was using way too much medicine so I eventually went back to combusting.

Now I seem to have evolved into a hyper-sensitive freak, and have reached my toxic limits with combustion along with a wide variety of other things. I've been medicating for almost four decades now so it's about time to grow some new lungs.

But seriously I need to stop buying vaporizers. I feel like I've been in a time machine the way things have evolved. Home units seem to be approaching a true golden age, while the portables are just starting to blossom I think. I know that I have had a hard time deciding but I think I am done now.

Thank doG. I have spent quite a bit of change since I joined, even after all of the refunds on the portables I changed my mind on lol. Anyways thanks to all of you for helping to illuminate my path. You've helped me out quite a bit, even if my wallet hates every last one of you!
