Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I am curious to hear how you use this and how effective it is. I feel that my process already works well for me and don't "yet" see a need for something like this but you have inspired me to buy lots of other little things that have helped a lot. I want a process that is the most efficient but yet can reclaim.
John, when I figure everything out I will start an appropriate thread in vapor related equipment. Its interesting, it turns out that just as important as the cleaning unit itself is the fluid you put in it to do your task . . . it works fantastic btw . . .

The red stuff? I use the green stuff. Speaking of green stuff, the male joint of my VXC just turned green. I think we all know that warm feeling that one gets inside, when your VXC is good-2-go!

Enjoy, GV!

Some members recently discussed how often one cleans their ELBs. I clean mine frequently. Every 5 uses or so. But then I've slight OCD about that shit, I admit. When vaping, I find nothing more satisfying than a thick draw of tasty herb from a freshly-cleaned HT and ELB out of a monster vaporizer. Therefore I clean my glass daily using what t-dub calls the "shake and break" method (i.e., iso and shaking). Since I do it so often, it doesn't require much iso each time. I cringe at a dirty HT.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

Almost exactly one month after I received it and began using it daily my Cloud+ has gone belly up apparently. I've got the flashing lights (two green then three red) and no heat. Worked earlier today. Turned it off for a couple of hours while I was out and when I can back no joy.

Naturally I'm stunned and disappointed. Should have paid more attention to all that business earlier in the forum about VapeXhale being down for three months or more. Was that just no new ones being made, but repairs can go on? (Hope, hope). I opened up a support ticket, but of what value that is currently I'm not sure.

Please do. We could all benefit. My process is pretty efficient and fast both for vaping and cleaning but I am always tweaking to find the most optimal balance of 1. cleanliness 2. timeliness 3. cost in that order to always have the best experience. Let me know how that device works out after a period of time. How long does that take to do vs just soaking in jar of water/PBW? I don't know if I can justify another electronic device not for cost but space :(

Well, my Cloud also just died. I've had it less than a week and it's already dead.

Like Sinclue said, the red light comes on, then the green, but no heat at all. Dead cold.

I'm so incredibly disappointed. Best vaporizing experience I have ever had that only lasted six days.

Welcome to the club. I cant even look at it. I put it on my coffee table, away from the rest. I couldnt even plug my HA in yet. I have committed the ultimate crime, blunt smoking!!! It has been a tragic few days withdrawing from the Cloud experience, and I luckily am at work, so the Pax holds me down. When I'm home I lose my mind though. I hope you can do better then me at coping.

Edit: Something I made to illustrate the pain.

That sucks yours wasnt under warranty. My warranty is on freeze for 3 months if that makes you feel any better. I will have to wait what feels like years in these days for a new Cloud. I might be on Mars in 3 months + ship time.

I don't even know what to do with myself.

My Cloud was so good I don't even want to use my SSV.

God, I'm so sad. VX is messing with my head. They gave me one of the best/coolest experiences of my life, and took it away in under a week. Cruel.

I can't wait three months. I gotta figure something out.

@ b0

Mine is the 110v unit.

Dude, let it go...it will pass in few days...believe me... there's no point - you'll get used to your older vaporizer soon enough...

m0sh,
These stories make me want to cry. I bet you think I am kidding.
My cloud is awesome and though I could live with my Solo it would be a slightly
darkened future, a cold sliver of ice in the hot fudge sundae. May your time
pass quickly.

Heads up: ELBs are back in stock at Vapexhale's store...

It's really unfortunate to see all of these brand new Clouds dying right out of the gate. I am one of the lucky ones with an OG model (s/n 733). These new ones seem to be worse than 80's era Jaguars - little bit of overcast and the car won't start.

Hopefully the company can correct these issues. The Cloud really is the ultimate vaporizer, without a doubt! I've must've went through at least a pound of green through mine and it's still going strong. Almost like it turns flowers into bubble (waaaay more heady than combusting with virtually no ceiling).

At five bills and all of these documented issues to speak of, the vape probably won't be around that much longer. It's almost like a 50/50 gamble with these new models it seems. Whatever the case, their QC/R&D needs a major overhaul and fast!

With all these posts about dying Clouds I have been babying mine like crazy... but even that didn't help me on the weekend. My stupid ass was taking a massive hit watching jake and amir, when suddenly; pop goes my weasel. Blew a bunch of water through the hydratube and into the Cloud. FUCK!!

It was the worst sound I have ever heard, with hissing and crackling and popping - and steam coming out of both ends of the tube like exhaust ports. I scalded my leg too since that was where I had the Cloud sitting. I got it shut of quickly, and just started blowing through the bottom of the bamboo to evaporate all the water in there. Put the Cloud out of commission for the day after that.

Thank whatever sweet demi-lord icon you believe in for me, but the thing survived. The next night it was ticking away and heating up just fine. Looks to me like there are no cracks in the bamboo either. The only problem is that now everything tastes like ass out of the Cloud. Seems like a cleaning is in order.

Anyways, I dodged a bullet there. And in honor of that, I present to you the video that made me lose it. Need I tell you not to hit your Cloud during?
