just picked up a mini 4 peice scs from my lhs. all i can say is wow. nice and small get my buds nice and fluffy.

After weeks of struggling with self control, I finally gave in and ordered a SCS. I was thinking Red was going to be the one for me. But no, after further review and much thought, GREEN is the color for me. I even looked up color meanings to help me out. Intense fight. I got me the 4 piece large, and cant wait until it arrives.

I have pently of grinders however not a oversized one.
Leave the KIEF (POLLEN) on the FLOWERS.
Just fluffed up some BUBBA KUSH for the BENDER.
This was the biggest one I could find $35.00!

The more I use this limited edition "satin" finish 2 piece SCS, the more I think it is the perfect shredder for me. Max is right, the 2 piece is the way to go. With no anodized finish to chip or make problems, its also soft and warm to the touchA little grinder grease applied when the unit is clean helps keep it functioning smoothly. Not too many of these left, I just ordered another . . .

My 10+ year old sweetleaf grinder is on it's last legs..missing a couple teeth and just in tough shape so I just ordered one of these!! $42 shlpped with a 10% toke city discount (TokeCity420) There are only a few left so get em while you can!

I have SPACE CASES because that's what the Smoke Shop Salesperson sold me.
Otherwise I would have got a SANTA CRUZ. They do make a nice grinder.
Sharp Stone and Space Case are much better than a Cheap ones from Overseas.
My Space Cases really fluff the Flowers.
I do like the 2 piece grinders better.
If I want KIEF I'll just buy it.
Just leave the good stuff on the Flowers and enjoy the natural effect.

I've got a 2-piece (4-pieces don't seem like they would last forever) 4" jumbo Santa Cruz Shredder and it's killer. Better than the Space Case ones even (and somehow feels higher quality). Even though it's huge you can put small buds in it but all the same, I liked it enough that I'm going to buy a few more sizes. Busters last forever so why not?

I too like the fact I can grind 0.5 gram and it works fine.
A bigger one is easier to handle for me.
{3.5" Space case; 1.5" Sharper Stone; 2.0" Space Case; 2.25" Chinese}

I emailed SCS and got a response saying all the grinders are anodized. Yes, but they are hard anodized or hardcoated. Most of the cheap colored aluminum grinders have a decorative grade anodized coating, as well as many other colored cheap aluminum things made mostly in china. Anodized coatings can vary from being just a thin protective barrier to a thick hardcoat that can be as hard as tool steel. The anodizing on the SCS is definitely not the thin decorative grade, it's actually stronger than bare aluminum and "should" never flake or chip... you have a limited lifetime warranty if it does. What we have on the Santa Cruz Shredders is what I believe to be the best hard anodized coating available on a grinder today... Yes the Space Case Ti also has a superior coating, but in my opinion the SCS is just a small step above. Anyone want to grind some concrete to compare durability?

I love space case (I like SCS even more), but I got a Refund for my Space Case Ti.
I have put the SCS through hell, and there is no color gone yet from it's anodized body.

I'm not sure what the glossy regular finishes on the SCS are like (will know soon, ordered lots) but my 4" jumbo has a smooth non-glossy finish and I think I prefer it. Seems like it's easier to keep looking nice for a longer amount of time. My regular finish Space Case looked insanely shiny and perfect at first and while it still looks great, it got a bit dirty and imperfect pretty quickly. My standards are really high though.

In the bottom section of your new shredder, you will find pollen collecting after you've done a few batches. You can squeegie it out for use. Put it with your herb to vape, save and compress into kief -- pressed kief? -- or, you could just lick it out of there (but I think it needs heat to be activated...).

Just top your next bowl with it
I usually just collect in a glass jar for that purpose. Sometimes I vape it on its own. If you have alot, you can even make hash capsules.
