On that note, here's a real update that I am going to pre-apologize for:
....about those batteries...It was every intention of ours to produce the Ascent Vaporizer with 2 Li-ion removable batteries, however we have been advised against it at this time due to insurance and product liability reasons. This is the first time in mentioning it, because I just found out that we will have to cap the area. This is unfortunate news, as I really was pushing for this feature. I really do apologize for the change, and yes I realize that other mfg have removable batteries, but the Ascent...as it comes in the box, will not.
No, don't do that, please. Get a different insurance company, or a different policy. Do something. Don't compromise your awesome looking product due to legal issues.

Yeah exactly, the Pax has a battery that "isn't replaceable" but 1 screw and some soldering says otherwise. The Inh is even easier
It would be very enthusiast-friendly if the Ascent had normal phillips screws, and battery springs like the Inh rather than spot welds

Honestly guys, I want to customize the hell out of the Ascent. We are planning on doing a few pieces, including the customized mouthpieces, preferably hand blow..just worried about the tolerances, and a Gog adapter mouthpiece.

Wow - the idea of hand-blown mouthpieces seems awesome. I can see personalized mouthpieces becoming quite the rage--must-have accessories.

I don't mind the Ascent not having replaceable batteries. As long as its a good solid battery with reasonably long charging life, I'm good. I actually think its kind of a hassle having multiple batteries and constantly removing and replacing them. My main portable is the Solo and it has a self contained battery, a reasonably long charge and it's a fantastic vape. Won't be a deal killer for most people IMO...
Good job Davinci! I'm glad to hear you guys are hard at work with the design of possible Ascent accessories. A GonG adapter w/ a mini WT designed specifically for the ascent would be a great idea IMO....

No...please don't preorder! We are tweaking the site right now and the backend broke and I am waiting for IT to fix it. Stupid live site changes.
I will be launching a pre-registration area soon, that will allow you to be first in line to purchase before everyone else as I will have limited stock in the beginning, but I want you to save your hard earned cash until then.
