No, not my stuff. My stuff is always top quality. I just think some strains vap differently.
I'm getting top shelf from my clinic, I've posted pics here and on the Lounge before of what I get, so I'm not sure if it's the quality... it's all A+ stuff, but I've noticed that the batch of Strawberry Cough I got doesn't produce vapors like the Master Kush I vaped last night.

Maybe if you guys keep a log of the strains you take over the next few weeks.

Just give each stain marks out of 10 for vaping (its just a rough guide) and then we might be able to find some pattern concerning general genetics of strains that vape well verses those that dont.

I don't re-up very often. I will not even be getting anymore until next month. Possibly someone who has more of a turnover could be of more help.

I do keep a spreadsheet that I use to track taste and effects with notes about miscellaneous stuff such as vapor production. It's been a helpful tool for me, otherwise I'd end up buying the same shitty strain over and over again because I didn't make a note that it was sub-par. I have logged about 50 different strains so far in the last year or so. Vapor production is definitely one of the major variables between different strains and I make a point of notating which strains give the best "vapor yield".

It might have already been mentioned, but I find that drying and curing makes a huge difference in vapor density. Once the grind has been mastered it really comes down to dryness, IMO. I like to leave my jar cracked for up to 12 hours after transfering (since most of that stuff is cured for smoking not vaping, and you often don't know how long it has been sitting in a seeled jar), and I will even sometimes leave my ground up material container cracked for a few hours depending on the flakyness of the buds and my patience level. However, if all else fails I just result to a glass stem or some other way to visually judge the vapors coming from the box and then adjust the draw to suit your vapor needs. My :2c:

Yup, my grind for sure. Just powdered this Strawberry Cough/Medicine Man mixed trench after a half dozen vape rips, and now it's milking my bong pretty nicely

I also think drying and curing is a huge factor in vapor density. I like to get dry buds for this reason. Also, if I've had really ground up stuff in aluminum pill containers for a month, I notice it's stronger? In fact, I have some larry og haze right now that I like using on 'special' occasions since it's so good.

Ya know, Stu, as time goes on less and less of what you do surprises me, but I gotta give credit when it's due. A fifty entry spread sheet on the topic is mighty impressive at some levels at least. The fact that you've done it (and to a lesser extent that I don't find that shocking....) might, however, point to other concerns.......

Dude, like a few other good souls around here, have broadened my perspective and understanding of how big and diverse this community is. Thank you very much for that.

Haha, don't be a hater! I do something similar with my stuff.

I think I'm getting the hang of this thing... I bet it'll just get better when I get the power adapter... and maybe the concentrate adapter *cough cough*

Wtf... MF is claiming I never returned my previous box, so won't warranty my unit. I packed that fucking thing up and sent it to them the same damn day, I received the warranty replacement.

First they sent notice, it would be replaced... then a later follow-up, stating the warranty department hadn't ever been received by them.

Pretty steamed right now, I'm not a liar and I follow thru with my obligations. Honor is a big deal to me.

Do you have a copy of your receipt from the sending company? (usps, ups, etc.)

I hate to be called a liar..... but I'll call myself a liar anyway. I'm a liar. I just checked my spreadsheet and it only has 44 strains on it. So I'm completely normal now, right?

I'll email you the spreadsheet if you want to laugh at my comments.... but wait.. you laugh at me enough around here already, so probably no need for more humiliation. :horse:

Time to add #45 to the spreadsheet as I'm about to sample some Kryptonite OG. Oh the work never ends, does it?

Yup, makes all the difference is the world, doesn't it? I mean that's way less than one a week. Well, a little less....no a little more less than before. Yeah, that's it.....

Brother Stu, sometimes you make it hard to see straight for the laughing. Yer a living testament that it really is a world without limits, save the ones we invent.

Thanks again, ya make it worth while.

Well, I don't have a spread sheet... but I do have the labeled bags and bottles of every strain I've purchased. :D

On the warranty note, yeah... I sent them a (polite) request to call me... or I'll give another call tomorrow. I also forwarded the email when I originally sent the box back. I guess I was like 3-4 days late, but it got sent and I tracked that thing every day, until it was delivered. Below, is the expanded info I requested USPS supply (you can make a request to return it to original notification for 30 days). I hope this is sufficient. I sent this anonymous MFLB employee (they no longer sign it personally) handling my case, the entire conversation between Melodee and myself, plus the brief screen cap in my last correspondence. Hopefully, they'll also plug in the tracking number and see the enhanced info.

FYI
Magic Flight updated their warranty information and policy last night.

Their transferable warranty now comes with a warning not to buy used or off Ebay/Amazon/Craigslist and offers a easy way to check for fraud by emailing the serial number of a questionable box. This would have helped my cause and my situation would have not occurred as I would have checked first.

Please let us know, I am anxious as I got a warranty replacement in April and still havent gotten around to sending that package with my old box and PA. I hope its still okay to send it and receive a warranty on my new one (this scenario is not comforting since so much time has elapsed)

They've actually made substantial revisions since the last time I checked. This seems to be in response to your predicament, since most of the changes clarify when a warranty will be void and how to avoid fraudulent sales. I've updated the Vaporpedia Warranty section to reflect the changes.

I'm glad they did this to protect themselves, but it's really sad that it had to be done at all. :(

Well, I just keep getting their voicemail and no word back today, phone or email as to how they're going to handle this.

Going back thru all my correspondences with MF and their interaction, even here on the board (which has seemed to disappear)... I'm losing a little bit of that rosy feeling I've always had for them. This latest adventure, just seems pretty cold and detached. I don't think they realized how much it meant to get a personal note, from someone with a name, other than MLFB Crew and acted genuinely concerned for their patients/customers. Now 90% of their emails are cut-n-paste jobs, to most of paka's information.

And just how are they going to actually verify I returned my box, than with what I've already provided. I'm sure they don't have it any more. Its either been destroyed by now, or since it was just the lid broken, put a new one on... re-serialized, cleaned and sold. Such a beautiful box I lost, when I broke the original. :(

The lid snapped off again last night. C'mon SuperGlue, do your job! Not helping that the wood is split though, might be putting pressure on that joint and breaking the bond.

BDV, you have the verification that they received it. That should be all that is needed.

Unfortunately, often when companies get bigger, the personal touch goes first. Such a shame. :2c:
