Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I got my omicron yesterday in the mail, courtesy of PlanetVape. Just wanna say how good these guys were, really went the extra mile.

As for the omicron, I filled it up yesterday with 1 gram of some QWISO I made. However, it seems either there might be an issue with the cart, or the QWISO that I made does not seem to be compatible.
At first I thought I might have leaking issues when using QWISO, but it seems I can barely get it to melt in the cart to produce any vapor at all. I have to prime it a lot to get a little wisp of vapor. It did actually produce a lot of vapor at first, but only the first few hits, and its been downhill since then. Cart weight is still almost the same..
Any idea why this happened ?
I'm going to try to make some BHO for the omicron if the iso aint gonna work, but I wanted to use the iso first since it is obviously way safer than using butane.

Until then, I'm gonna keep usin the trusty volcano, but I wanna get the omicron to work 100% asap since even now I love the liberty it gives me.

Ok here it goes. It sounds like not all the extract is melted to the bottom of the cartridge.


Take a lighter and heat the top slowly 5 seconds at a time about 10 times then try it again repeat process untill it works.

Also look down the air tube to see the heating element if it's coming on. If it glows after 5 seconds then it's working. Some extract and this is very few are stubborn. This is why it happens.

Not sure what the rules are over there, but in several of our more progressives states I think you can marry the Omicron, not sure how the property gets divided though......

I agree, this little guy is a game changer if there ever was one. It's about as automatic as it gets. Push the button here, suck gently there, enjoy. Repeat as desired a lot of times before service. Cool.

IMO THC and company should get an Academy Award or maybe medal from the UN or those Nobel guys up your way? No justice in the world.

Seems to have done the trick THC !!!!
I noticed that the qwiso had a tendency to stick to the walls when I was filling it. Was a pain to get all of it off the walls of the filling tool.
Also, I figured this is flowing real slow, so I slowed down my draw to a super slow draw, and I'm getting huge hits now !

I saw you recommend that european site, but honestly its quite expensive there. Planetvape gave me some nice service with cheap shipping and even compensated me for it by gifting me a cart, really nice dudes. You should recommend them more to your international customers imho !

Since the Omicron arrived, I'm always puffin. I've noticed people either love it or they hate it. The haters are either the ones who have tried the Omicron and either can't get it to work (hitting it like a blunt or bong) or those who believe they can build their own "makeshift" Omicron as well as the carts for $20. They are also taking their "moldy oldy" and making their own "pure gold".

Not so easy to state, it was a long time and covered a lot of ground I guess. Basically Technician type stuff, mostly around Electronics and related whiz bang stuff. Built, installed and serviced little bitty atom smashers for a while (Cyclotrons and Linac driven X-Ray therapy machines for those taking notes). Included some installation and service work overseas. Put some time in in Marine Electronics (safety, navigation and communication gear), some of it Blue Water sailing, some 3rd world backwater shore stuff. I also spent 20 or so years 'working for the man' at one of the National Labs (Basic Material Sciences research) from which I finally threw in the proverbial towel. I also taught "Industrial Arts" at the local Community College (part time), mostly Electronics, for a lot of those years (when home, of course) and some "Contract Ed" classes on assorted industrial skills here and there. I also spun out a few times and took low tech jobs for a while, like making fluorescent lights for RVs (in Orange Co. in fact....) and working in the Tool Room of an Industrial Contractor fixing welders, pipe threaders and other big time power tools.

Met and worked with a lot of great folks, saw some interesting stuff, traveled and had fun on the boss' dime some too. Not sure it's what I'd call a profession, or even organized, but it's what I did for beer money. From a different more objective perspective a misspent youth followed by a life of indulgence no doubt. Some guys can keep a job, some of us can't I guess.

So now you know, aren't ya glad you asked?

I believe I speak for almost everyone when I say we would rather have mildly overtoasted bud than no herb cartridge for the Omicron.

What screws? That kind of came out of nowhere... Is there some new thing you found out or is this just the "clean the threads with iso" that the manual tells us?

He's taking about where you screw the charger onto the battery..it gets dirty from leaks and sometimes gets stuck to the charger when disconnecting causing further difficulties

yeah i had that happen 1 time when i didn't clean my cart before charging. my charger feels like its gonna break at any time though which worries me. it doesn't really hold on to the cart, i always have to fiddle with it to get it to charge.

btw THC did u ever get my cart I sent?

Perhaps i'm just blind but i couldn't figure out how to get weedmaps to show me a long table of dispensaries carying wax's, just the 5 that show up when typing into the main search box.

To rectify this i took 15 minutes this afternoon to put together a basic html page that uses their api to get that info. If it doesnt search the right location go to weedmaps.com, get the map to your local area and do a search, then go back to this page.

Get the 5 pack, its nice having multiple strains ready to go.

I bought my Omicron a couple days ago and am absolutely in love. I'm not sure if it's charging though. It was stuck earlier and i cleaned it up with iso and it's real slick again. But the light on the piece that actually screws onto my battery doesn't turn red.

Did I break it already? I will let you know if it's charged in a couple hours...

You did not break it, we had an issue with bad chargers because we had a bad batch of parts. Please submit a ticket and we will replace the charger.

It says to store the cartridges between 10 and 27 deg celcius.
Will it somehow damage them if they get cold?
I'm expecting mine in the mail any day now and I live up north. I sure hope
my cartridges are ok

Not that's fine lower temps do nothing juts the higher temps are sometimes issue in the summer when left in car under direct sunlight.
