I second PBW. Better, faster, cheaper, safer and better for the environment. A detergent, that will wash away stuck on junk, not a solvent that will hopefully dissolve it and maybe deposit it somewhere else? It's buffered and has water treatment chemicals to work in 'any water'. You can get it on Amazon (a one pound j jar 'lasts ever' used a pinch at a time. Check it out.
Even easier, if you have a dishwasher, is to connect a funnel to the bubbler with tubing then set it up so the wash water flows into the funnel and down through the tube and the bubbler and out. Hot wash water, flooding through and out, will do a bang up job. My funnel now has hooks for hanging from the cage that encloses the arm under the top tray, but I used to prop it up on tall stuff in the silverware holder, laying the bubbler (or whatever) on the rack.
In the future, keeping your herb 'well cured' (dry) going it will prevent water condensate in the stem that makes that 'oil and water don't mix' mess. We learned this with MFLB.

I do not grind.
I don't either, although I own 5 grinders. I prefer cutting nugs with tiny scissors, I get a nice draw on all my vaporizers. Pulverizing trichomes? H3ll no! Trim them yourself.

I’m impressed each time I load this little vape up. I purchased a WPA. I know it will take it to the next level for me. The quick heat up and efficiency are really where it shines. I went from having a Mighty several Vapcaps and a SBJ to nothing. I wanted something cheap to get me back in the game but this little guy started my VAS all over.

Nah i use a tweezers sometimes. Most of the time just break of a nug and cram it in.

That orange grinder has a very fine grind (mine actually shed plastic, orange bits in with my weed) and is probably causing most of your problems, do yourself a favour and get a decent grinder, you will not regret it.
@LesPlenty I also have New Vapes fine grinder. The Volcano's grinder does not grind as fine as the New Vape. I also have never experienced plastic pieces from using it.
Are you using the grinder that came from your Volcano? I know there are generic knock off grinders that are sold on websites that are not s&b.
in any event what grinder would you recommend for the Fury 2?

Definitely not a fine grinder. Coarse to medium is all you need. Fine grind is going straight through the holes in the chamber.
I finger grind my bud after thoroughly drying it. The way I see it, I can either lose a few trichomes to hand grinding or lose a ton of thrichomes to a grinder.

I use my new vape fine grind and I get great results whether using glass or the dosing caps.
I too bypass the grind sometimes and just cram a small bud in for the tastiest hits...

My space case grinder has been sitting in the drawer for some time now. I have been finger grinding and find it quick and easy peasey. In fact, I usually take a nug, tear it in half and then rub the two halves together until they break themselves up.
You don't know how lucky you have it. Today's weed just needs to be ground and used. I remember back in my day, weed had to be deseeded first. These young kids today, they don't know what it's like to have to work for their high.

@BabyFacedFinster and let’s not forget brick weed. Sorry edited for off topic. Im Thinking the grind helps being more efficient. I can put a little amount of ground weed and get lots of clouds.
Not the orange S&B, too fine, may cause problems if not used on a bong(upside down is OK as fines will not work their way into the oven).
My space case with it`s fluffy medium grind works great.
But I only have 3 grinders, but am looking at the kannaster GR8TR v2 (I think that is right), as I keep hearing good to amazing things about it.How do you lose them, do you brush them out onto the floor? Trichomes get caught in my kief collector at the bottom, and what ever else that is left behind in the grinder after brushing out, gets collected and vaped as a concentrate whenever I do a deep clean.
My fingers would be worn to the bone by the end of a day if I had to `finger grind' not to mention I would have to use wet cement to get my fingers clean (men`s exfoliant).

They would be fairly difficult to see with an unaided eye. The iso melts them. So it's most likely plant material your seeing. If you run your mix through a coffee filter it should remove a lot of the junk.
To further clean it up, after rendering it down to just oil, remelt that oil in ethanol, freeze, refilter and render that down. That will remove plant waxes.

But thats exactly it, I dont believe in kief catchers either for the same reason. Finger grinding for me is the most convenient and least lossy way to grind my bud. I spend like 30 seconds every 2 weeks finger grinding not including prepping my hands, lol. Sure i can get a brush and make a setup to reclaim the trichomes out of the grinder, if I had all afternoon to work on it (slightly exagerrating). I can only speak for myself though, do what works for you Ill do what works for me.

I use a grinder because it is easy, same with cleaning, Iso in beaker in ultrasonic cleaner=lazy, but clean.
Another reason I got the F2, easy maintenance, if it sounds like work, I avoid it.

I use the hated credit card grinder too sometimes.
But thats the great thing about the F2 with glass, nearly all of the work is for herb prep. The vape iself doesnt need cleaning and the glass takes me 2 minutes per week to clean. (Rubber plug caps ftw)

My Beatles white album still has herb residue in the crease of the cover from separating out the seeds. And we tried boiling the seeds and stems in hopes of making tea that would get us high, but it didn't.

Actually, I'm glad those days of brick weed are done for me. The cannabis I get today is so much nicer. In my 4 years of buying medical dispensary weed I have yet to find a single seed. So easy to load up a few dosing caps for the F2.

We used shoe box tops out here. When weed got low you could 'work' the stems and seeds and get a pinner from it to see you through. And yer right about the tea, a friend summed it up 'don't drink weed tea to get off, drink it to get sick'.
Ah, yes, seed fireworks. We all had shirts with burn marks. I still have a favorite shirt from those days in the closet, it has two such holes above the pocket. In those days you could spot stoners easily by those burns........

Still loving this thing. I think it works well for a session with 2-3 people using the native mouthpiece. Nice to use when out taking a walk as well. No battery complaints from me as I’m such an infrequent cannabis user.

Sorry for the real basic question, but I'm looking at getting the fury 2 or rebrand in Canada as a vape i can throw in my gym bag. Just something smaller that works well.
Any suggestions on where to buy in Canada? There are so many rebrands, it's hard to figure out what sells in Canada and what doesn't. I did a search here and couldn't find what i was looking for.
