If it works, it works. Does your stuff combust when the unit is all the way turned up?

I don't think my unit would get any vapor below 270C to 290C, which is the equiv of 170C to 190C on your unit.

I havent tried all the way to 260c yet. I wana stay as low as i can.

Ok, have been using the bag method with stickstones advice. You were saying if I show a temp of 500(highest on this model), then the the bowl is really around 400 degrees. It works and makes very thick vapor but is this getting near combustion because it almost looks singed?

stickstones has an old model, yours is new and the temperature sensor is more near the bowl than the element now

so the temperature on yours is pretty close to where youre actually vaping at

"There is now a third version that goes to a max temperature of 260C.

The only way for you to be certain of which unit you have is to turn your unit on and turn the temperature to its maximum setting. It will either go to 250C, 260C or 350C, and then you know. It is important to understand that the temperature of the unit?s element and the temperature of the herbs are identical in both these units. The only difference is the temperature reading on the display."

This is some great info ... I didn't realize there where 3 different versions of the Extreme. Now that I checked the eBay listing, it says "Extreme Vaporizer 2.0" (happyhourherbs on eBay - 190267748690). Not sure if they are all 3 versions of 2.0 or actually 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 ... you get the idea. Guess I will find out when it arrives this week

how many watts does this use? I want to find out if it will work in my car, with a cheap inverter, or what the plug looks like or battery specs are so i can find a cheap battery. and what case were you guys talking about did i miss it? I've read much of this but ..... :ninja:

you can use the cheap 75 watt one it is more then enough because it draws maybe 60 watts at highest use

im just curious ive been vaping for about 6 months minimum 3 bowls a day
and i have always gotten pretty amazing bags at 205 210 wheres some people here use it at 250 c????

hahaha that is a great looking collection. When I had my extreme I would cape at about the same temp and I know there are at least three versions of the extreme out there, each with slightly different temp settings. If this isn't the reason, maybe it is because you have the dankiet selection of meds

got the newest one straight frm arizer in mid october upgraded from the original

i tried the champagne bud on 225

and HOLY FUCK i could not see the other side it was that thick.....

and btw i have made new bags from the volcano 10 ft bag because those are more avaliable then the vtower bags

so its a 3.5' bag which is pretty nice just takes a extra time filling up but boy is it worth it! best 10$ ive eveer spent

I just wanted to share some information with any Extreme owners who are interested in getting a battery pack for their units.

I have been regularly using a Lenmar PPU1619 battery pack and have been very happy with it (my friend's Duracell 300 Powerpack works as well, however it is much larger than the Lenmar and you need to bring the plug with the box).

I recently saw that Buy.com has the sleek $169 Lenmar laptop battery for $89.99 (you can get $30 more off if you are willing to sign up for their free credit card and get it for $59.99--like I did way back when).

Lenmar, Buy.com, and Arizer were all helpful while I was shopping (helping ensure there wouldn't be any compatibility issues, helping me figure out how long the battery would run the unit, etc--thanks to all!).

Now if I could only figure out the same for the PD??? :brow:

PS: For any of you who like to vaporize oily concentrates of ethnobotanicals, you may want to try using a chamber full of small glass beads upon which you can drizzle up to .25 of thin oils and almost .5 of well-made (thicker) oils (you can find the beads at any craft store-make sure they have no coatings)

Hey guys, how has everyone been? Someone put a whole in my first bag, have been trying to assemble the second one but having some difficulties, even with the instructions online. Any tips? When they say to roll the top carefully and then place an oring an inch down, do they mean to roll the entire bag or just the top open part?

jx80...good to hear form you! Those bags are a bitch. When I cleaned all my parts I put them back together but still couldn't get one of the o-rings on (the one that has to go over the little ridge in the glass. My bags still work fine with just one of the o-rings on it.

haha its simole to put the o rings back on

first start by putting a O ring onto the bag it self without the glass (easiest way is to fold the bag in half and put the o ring onto the fold )
then a oring on the glass part between the two bumps

after you have it on the back put one end of the glass into the oring part then SLOWLY push in while pushing in try to pull on the oring to expand it

after you have around a inch of bag outside of the oring on the glass fold it downwards and expand the o ring and pull back down towards bottom

I know this is off topic a bit but during the week end I was at a friend's house and bring my extreme ...he took about .2 of yellow super fine dry shift pollen and we fill up the bowl E bowl .... :uhoh:

we got 10 bags of pure vapor ...it was insane ....this is the first time a got so much efficience ...10 full thick bags....I figure his dry shift was really REALLY PURE .....between each bag we were able to see the thc sublimize ....I had to do it again !!

back on topic steeve from arizer told me that there will be 20 other modification on the next batch of extreme vaporizer ...and also ...I dont really know If I can talk about it but there will be two portables unit from arizer soon on the market ...one batterie powered and one flame powered , both are supose to be top of the line in the portable units ! i did the same thing with just pur kif the first day i got the extreme

it had got me, my brother, and two cousins vapored outta our minds and me and my bro are 3+ a day vapor's

CD, I have a vision in my head of you guys vaping something like dust or kif. Is that right? If so, how did you vape it and avoid it getting through the screen?
