What's The Average Age Around Here?

The fact that the conversation seems to have drifted off topic and now seems to be connected to bowel movements seems enough proof of the average age here.

I just throw a heap of raw oatmeal in with milk and whey protein...shaken not stirred...and then chug!

That with some Praeventia cookies or Kashi bars make those clockwork morning bowel movements oh so satisfying.

yeah... I'm at that age where I've now begun "Preventative Maintenance" starting habits before I have the need for them.
I don't think it until my 27th year that I realized Oh crap, can't trade this model in for new healthier one. I trashed my health badly in a short time. Taking even longer to get it all back.

Physically I feel it. Started feeling "aged" - and have the belly to prove it - about 10 years ago.
But mentally I feel more like 30, and as someone else said, "I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up."

I have a theory that people who smoke weed feel younger longer and in many cases look younger longer.

Don't know how the rest or you old farts feel, but as far as I'm concerned there's really not much good about getting old. Except that it's better than the alternative.

however, i can see it is only better than the alternative up to a point. That's one tipping point i think about a lot more these days.

I just turned 22 this month so I'm one of the younger People on this board. That doesn't really bother me though.

Or it lowers testosterone levels, which seems to either be inconclusive, or shows strong evidence for the contrary.

As the lady exorcist says in Poltergeist : "All are welcome into the light..........."

I just turned 57: I never thought I'd make 50.

I agree - a proper bowl of warm oatmeal just hits the spot, steel cut is great - you can get cheap as i recall from vitaglo.

I heard you never mature mentally from the age you start smoking pot. Somewhat a fountain of youth?

I think aging is cool. We all get to do it so why not make it fun? Age usually brings wisdom, assuming we learn the basics of life as we age.
Wisdom means lighten up, slow down, smile all the time, pick battles very carefully, don't cross bridges til you get to them(as they may not ever be there), be nice, say thank you all the time, eat and drink healthier, sleep alot, take time crapping, always look for the good in others, be very firm in your convictions but with an open mind for other points of view, BE A SIMPLE KIND OF MAN(yes Lynyrd, you will be blasting at my going away party). Maybe other 'old timers" can offer other insight about what age can bring. Lets give all these younger FC people a peek at the fun to come. How about "aging gracefully", does that mean anything?

Totally agree with Qbit in the last post. One reason the struggle goes on for legal herb is the threat it poses to many of our established institutions. Values change. People don't think like they are "supposed to". The old way, "Just keep beatin 'em down, they'll soon come around" does not work so well with herb loving people.

I remember the Byrds singing that.

Every time I turn around, it's like, Dylan wrote that. Guy sure was prolific.
