You can figure it out!

OK, I see a 'highbrow book' that's never been read by your pool (which still doesn't need cleaning, don't you guys have trees down there?).

Not your typical 'coffee table book for sure'. More over, it looks to have numbers on the spine? So you stole a library book to use as a coaster on your deck.....or at the least a prop of some sort?

What do I win?

@OF We all know you are a special intelligent being!

I bought this book for $4.69 on ebay (flea bay)
My wife said: "it looks like it was stolen"?

Pinker is a writer I collect and believe it or not I do read!

Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Chistoper Hitchens are some that I read besides History and Philosophy!

I traveled the world and read many books.
Cannabis makes one read fast.
OK CANNABIS is safer than junk food!

The SOLO helps me to read fast!

Some collect vaporizers while I collect books!

I'm not so sure about 'we all', I can point to clear exceptions. Folks with less than stellar opinions crop up from time to time, trust me. I just wish they wouldn't talk about my mother, know what I mean? IMO it's your fault, really, you continue to misspell '.....you are a seriously twisted....' but that's your call.

Nice to know the wife doesn't believe the BS about a stranger on EBay either. Seems thin to me. I'd carry a receipt with it (you do have a receipt, right?). I'd be careful about taking those numbers off the spine, they might treat them like filed off serial numbers?

Come to think about it, how do we know you have a wife at all?

@OF it really is a waste of talent not seeing you doing stand up or guest appearances on Snl?

We need CANNABIS to be legal!
GODS GIFT is way strong!
The SOLO can handle!

Even if I can't!

And i just discovered this item.

had aromeds, volcanos, , arizer EQ, MFLBs
all went and came

but the SOLO has something to it.
it is not just a portable unit. it is growing on me.
perhaps its the only unit a need.

combined with a d020 bubbler at home it fits my needs, i guess.

If the inventors were awarded the Nobel Prize, it would have to be the Nobel Peace Prize rather than for medicine or technological advancement so they could receive it in Oslo, (anagram of Solo), otherwise they'd have to go to Stockholm.
that was a statement that really express's the SOLO.

When I want to have a rip in my garden I grab a SOLO.

It's very CIVILIZED.

If you need something else get a Shiny Big Belt buckle and a 4x4 with a lift kit in the city.

How many hair dryers do you need?

I was taking a nature walk with my Solo yesterday, when, unfortunately, my stem flew out and hit the ground at a high velocity. Don't swing your arms when holding a hot Solo!

Fortunately, it was one of @Ed's TnT wooden stems! No breakage, no tears. However, there is a slight chip in the wood near the tip of the stem - right where one would put their lips. I have a slight concern that this chipped area could be a haven for bacteria, especially when seshing with friends.

Do you guys think this is a valid concern? Is the wood already so porous that it won't make a difference (though I'm assuming there is some seal added by Ed when he finishes the stem?)? Is there anything I can do to fix it (sanding and refinishing, perhaps)?

I would contact @Ed's TnT to ask any questions about the wooden Solo stem. Just give him a PM, he will respond. Maybe you could send your stem in and he could sand it down a bit and put a seal on it, if that's what he does. You wouldnt want the chip to bother your lip.

@Mr.Sifter glad you are getting used to the Solo. The more you use it the better it will get for you. You can't beat simple to use, great taste, portability and versatility.

It's my favorite portable. Every vaporist should have at least 2.

Good afternoon, I am sorry to hear your misfortune but hey it didnt break and that is a good thing! As far as finish I dont do anything other than wipe it with some BAB and then wipe it off, its completely natural for the most part. What species was the stem? The species I use for the solo stems are relatively super dense as the grain goes. I would like to see a pic of the chip if possible and we can go from there with any recommendations if you like. I am sure we can figure something out. I will be looking out to hear from you and wish you well.

@CarolKing Thanks for stepping up as always pitching in with your advise, much appreciated and I hope you are doing great also!

Good question, I think, and good advice. See what Ed says?

Absent that you can always mitigate any such concerns with a solid coat of wax. A good Carnauba based paste wax, like used on floors and furniture.....and candy. Very waterproof, very hard and 'food safe'.
