Something something something Ti (dark) side

:mmmm:

I think the final design will be soon released, since this photo not very much time is passed but some details are already worked out showing the attention, the care George put in it. Quality hides in details IMO and I have high hopes omnivap stands the OG performances while being unbreakable, submersible, and why not shiny

@VapCap Are the woody and the glassy sleeves interchangeable? The site says "nearly all parts are interchangeable" so I'm wondering if this means the sleeve as well?
It would be real nice to have different woods for home and a ti sleeve for out and about. And a glass one for just because...

Hey all, thought I'd chime in with my weekend travel with the VapCap. It was awesome, it really is one of the best and easiest portable ways to vape. I didn't miss any of my other vapes while I was travelling at all. I was with a large group of people so many noticed it, I got the while crack pipe thing a lot but people's faces went from suspicion to fascination as soon as I told them it was a vaporizer. Everyone I showed it to loved it and kept coming back asking if they could use it. I hope it drummed up some sales, people sure did seem to love it and I know I did. I also figured out that it fits perfect in my 18-14 gong adapter, and man is it ever fun to use through a WP. Anyways, TL;DR, buy a vapcap, totally worth every penny and thank you George!

Excellent Question. I hope to create a chart and maybe some promotional material showing the product lineup and how the different pieces can interchange from unit to unit. Anyone want to trade?

Mix and match a little wood here, some titanium there, add a touch of some holy **** exotic (like imagine it and I will figure out a way to incorporate it) material and what do you have? Vaporist enlightenment.

To be more specific here are a few examples of how the modular system works:

The mouthpiece on the standard VapCap fits into 14mm WPAs and also fits onto the end of the Ti Woody and Ti Glassy.
The Ti Woody stems are all interchangeable with one another, so you may have multiple wood varieties to choose from, as well as the glass for the Ti Glassy and soon to come, titanium. There will be other materials coming soon too. Many others, and they should all fit as it seems like I have most of my dimensions dialed in.
There is soon to be a whole line of mouthpieces too. Wood ones, really nice plastic ones, titanium ones, and these will fit onto short stems or bodies.
Other parts will interchange as well.

I hope this helps.

Here are a few pictures of the @Ed's TnT awesomeness I received today.

And check out the eyes in the blackwood.

So I got right to work crowning these beauties. I tried to capture the grain as best as I could with my camera, but those burlies are just something else. Roll them around and there is just so much to see! And this batch of Cocobolo and Blackwood is very nice. Some awesome knots and eyes.

So off to the laser and a few finishing touches and these will start making their way out into the wild.

It sure is satisfying to see such nice pieces getting ready to be a loyal friend to someone.

Cheers,

George

When the mouthpieces come out, will be able to mod our existing wooden bodies by simply cutting them down?

The mouthpiece is 17mm long from where it meets the body. So to incorporate it onto an existing woody you have a few choices. You can cut your Ti Woody shorter, but why? You can get a longer condenser tube with the mouthpiece and now your Ti Woody or Glassy is 17mm longer.

To this:

This is nice unless you want to keep it in the DynaStash.
Or, I will have correctly sized bodies available in my shop as soon as I have the mouthpieces, so you can just get one or more of those.
I hope this answers the question. I also hope I am understanding the desire that has been conveyed to find a way for everyone to design their own vaporizer with the materials and components that fit their style.

Cheers,

George

Has anyone replaced their daily portable with the vapcap?

Right now I have a Da buddha on the way to be my daily when im home and am currently using an Air for my portable. My plan is to replace the air with the vapcap for a fully sneaky out and about solution. Also I just love the simplicity of the vapcap.

@djchexxx The answer for me would be yes I have.
Since I've had my VC I have used my old DD once and that was just to be sociable with my friend who 'couldn't be doing with the faff' of the VC.
I wouldn't like to say that you could replace your Air altogether. The VC is not really suited for anywhere there is a lot of noise and on the move usage would be tricky. Not impossible but tricky. You need to be able to apply the heat and hear the click.

For my current needs and usage tho it suits me down to the ground. I have no desire to go back to either of my battery powered portables and have since sold one of them. I still have a couple for back up but TBH I won't need either of them when my latest VC order arrives.

@Jazzah If it were me I would go with the addition of the longer condenser tube rather than cut down the wood. I know the OG, Glass and Wood all fit inside the tubes they get sent out in but I am sure @VapCap will stock longer ones if enough people ask him to.

Having spoken with George on a number of occasions I can assure you that all ideas are welcome and when he says 'Let me know what you think' he means it.

And so is that to say one can then have the new MP as well as to be able to keep the Ti-woodie in the Dynastash?

Thanks George!

EDIT: I've subsequently communicated with George thru email and he confirmed that the new MP and shorter woody stem will fit inside the DynaStash.

@phattpiggie Thanks a lot for the info! I think for me the vapcap will definitely be able to replace my air. Im kinda a solo stoner type and cant really see myself using the vapcap in a super loud or busy setting. Thanks again for sharing your experience and thoughts about the vc.

I can see why you would like the woodies to fit the DynaStash, but I'm looking forward to receiving the longer model.

I love my Glassy, but I think it looks a little stubby for my taste. Plus, I figure one of these days I'm gonna burn my fingers.

That's one of the great things about George's approach to the market...his devices are simple and cost-effective, so he can offer a wide variety of options. Sorta gives the lie to the saying that you can't satisfy all of the people all of the time. Well, I guess some might not like the VapCap concept at all, but that's their loss. (Edit: IMHO)

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Hey George, were you still thinking about a gong attachment for the woodie? IMO a woodie mouthpiece attachment that is also wide enough to fit in an 18mm waterpipe would be a great connection for VC use with glass.

Are the O-rings necessary?

Obviously for the woodies and glass bodies

What if if the tip was threaded, along with the Ti body and the mouthpiece/condenser would be one part.

Would only be 3 pieces and no O-rings to worry about, not that there's worry just spitting ideas.

O-rings provide thermal breaks. The heated end would cool much faster without them and the side you hold would get too hot.

is there a vapcap people would recommend for outdoor use? I worry about dropping and especially stepping on it. Is it difficult to dump out, load, and use in the dark? I like glass personally, but I could see it falling out of my pocket while sitting around a campfire and then stepping on it when I go to grab another log for the fire.

I love the dugout one hitter look for sure. Brings back good memories. I still have an old dugout from many years ago.

Even so with the new tip style, specfically the extra and deeper cooling fins?

I can't see it being worse than the OG.

I can say I've seen wonderful things regarding the Omni but can't really share anymore. ;)

I CAN share that I'm going to have one if it means I have to cut my leg off in a trade.

I've ordered an Omni , hope to get it next week and you've really got me anticipating it !

My vapcap OG is my new All-around vape . Sometimes I bring my Grasshopper along , just in case , but I love the results I get from the VC.
