Gladly tell you my take on coffee. I order 5lbs that is freshly city roasted and shipped to my house. And I'm surrounded by local coffee roasters and fair trade. If that tells you anything. Plus best price per pound for 'gourmet' quality. I use a mill grinder to break it so it a flinty consistency and ready for a french press.
I guess you are actually supposed to allow the beans time to expel gas after roasting. But my grounds float and cake up and crust over the water line, absorb water, then collapse under their won weight. Here's one method to extract more of the oils.

I have toured a few fair trade coffee roasteries (is that even a word?) for work & it can be fascinating discovering the story behind the farmer whose beans you are drinking.

Unlike this guy. The stove is off but the pan is on fire in a nonstick pan. Store bought Italian dressing? Ladies, I can cook better with my shirt on. I can make marinade especially for you as a specialty. Ladies, eyes down here please. Ladies, I'm umm, down here......Sigh, Oh never mind.

Is that why he keeps flinching over and over and trying to play it off like it's No problem. 'It's cool, I got this. The Italian dressing as a backup for the Teflon aftertaste.' What a gif, I mean Jeff. Maybe too many dishes prepared like this made it a recursive problem?

Nancy Reagen had a lot of influence with her husband's presidency. She refused to allow the president to get involved with helping Rock Hudson get medical attention in France after he had collapsed because he had the AIDS virus. Hudson was refused medical attention at a prestigase hospital that treated AIDS patients because he wasn't French. Rock Hudson and the Reagen's were really good friends.

That always pissed me off about her when I found that out. She didn't think the president should get involved with that because of the prejudice against AIDS. It wouldn't look good.

I have about 2 ounces of ground ABV. Quite a bit that I want to turn into tincture, and reduce down considerably. I'm reducing 4 liquid ounces right now. More than can fit in a tea bag.

Why do I always fall for the free offers?

Went into Verizon's to buy a couple cords and end up coming out with a new iPhone 6 S. Salesman said, "you are eligible for a free iPhone upgrade". All I heard was fee. I say OK.

The salesman proceeds to immediately use their machine to transfer all my material from my old phone to the new one. Then tells me how much it will cost.

It's my fault, I should have asked up front how much it would cost. I know nothing is free. A word to the wise, always ask up front, how much will this cost me? After everything was transferred I felt committed.

I suppose I could have said no and have them transfer everything back to my phone. My other phone worked fine. The new one has a larger screen. Is that worth $480? I left the store feeling like I was taken advantage of in a weak moment. It was my fault.

I was worried too because I had pictures of cannabis buds and vaporizer pictures that I hadn't deleted yet. I hadn't planned on getting a new phone.
