Unfortunately I think Kathy Hu understands very little english and is only interested in pumping out as many items as she can. Quantity > Quality over there. :\

I should be receiving my tree + showerhead bubblers by next week. Was hoping to be this week, looking unlikely though. Will report back with pics. I did ask for low placed percs like the ones displayed but she replied in broken english "we make the very good product now!!" ..er okay.. we'll see.

Did you message Kathy hu or email aliexpress? I think Kathy hu is a sales rep for a company that sells through aliexpress so emailing aliexpress wouldn't do a whole lot. She was really fast to get back to me when I asked a question but I used really basic english ... I bet she would look at your message and it would look like hieroglyphs but maybe she'd get it. Good ideas for their pieces though.

Edit: this was her response to my question so you get a gauge of her english level ...

2 is for tobacco 14.8 mm bowl and 18.8mm bowl
2 is for oil ,14.8mm and 18.8mm
when you order you can tell me which you need.
The picture one is 14.8mm for oil ,and we also have for tobacco.

Deal of the week! I hope it looks like it does in the picture when it gets here. The downstem takes up so much space that the air volume will be really low and perfect for my portable vaps and dabs. It also looks relatively thick (to other chinaglass), has a dewar joint, and a reinforced mouthpiece. The accessories it comes with would cost you more than $25 bucks alone! I dont know why I'm sales pitching for this piece so hard right now, I guess I'm just excited.

wow that is tempting, if I didn't already have 2 of the "infamous" bubs which are close to that size/style perc I'd jump on that. DHgate shipped my last order much quicker than aliexpress did, and I found the glass to be well made for the cost. Hope you are happy with them, and can post some pics when you get yours. :D

I haven't seen that site .... I like the frothilator looking piece for $40 after shipping might need to pick it up.

*can't edit* I just went to the DHgate site to get one of those $25 bubs, and notice that 2 sold and the price went up a dollar or so. Yeah I'm so bad, I broke down and ordered one... I like the flaired mouthpiece, and all the extra parts make it a pretty sweet deal if they show up as listed. I'll post more when I get it. I should also mention that my camera recently crapped out on me, so I will have to get creative to make photos happen until I can replace it.

Oh man, lol, I read your post twice and just as I was quoting it realized you didn't say you felt Foggy, but FRoggy and apparently ready to leap!! Was going to say I would feel super FOggy too after selling a Seed Of Life piece and Solo.. Ummm also didn't see that SOL in the classifieds ever, but I do tend to miss things there sometimes(good items go FaSt!!) Hope it went to a good home!

Back on topic.. Is everyone else's hometown over saturated with cheap glass shops now(and hookah bars)? I swear 3 shops(+additional hookah bars) have opened on the same street within the last 4-6 months here in my city, that sell glass that seems pretty obviously made over seas(not super thin, but not extra thick). That being said, I have bought a few ash-catchers/small bubblers for real cheap that have performed nicely.. Just curious if demographics are similar elsewhere too?!?

Lol I had the same thoughts before I edited foggy! That's good stuff right there! :cheers: I sold the SOL to a buddy along with a jhook, hc ac, and a VG coil his first vaporizer and scientific pieces! I traded the solo to a buddy who knows glass well but also a first vape! Just doing my part :)

Shit I get paid tomorrow and may have to jump on that....I hope there are some left.

EDIT: Do these sales happen often? Is there a way to look out for them?

hanfhead, I did the same thing, already got a shipping notice :science: I guess this replaces the fact that I don't spend money on other fetishes, make up, expensive shoes, jewelry, getting my hair/nails done etc... I can think of many consumer activities that far surpass the amount of spending I've been doing... sure that sounds good... yeah...:rolleyes:
