Today I went fishing with a buddy, and naturally I brought along my Solo and PNWT. Fiddling with my fishing lure, I accidentally dropped my water tube 3 feet onto some rocks below. It made a loud TING! sound, but didn't shatter or even crack! My buddy and I couldn't believe it! I didn't catch any fish, but it still ended up being a good fishing day lol

yeah i have a m107 going strong, darn near two years straight of use everyday, multiple times a day.

I think my battery may be losing its charge holding capacity, but tbh, i dont notice a diff too much.

Ooo i get my fbomb in the post today! Perfect timing as the NBA season starts tomorrow. Not much beats vaping and bball to me hehe

May I ask why you got the FB over the PNWT? Did you order it before the PNWT sale?

Ultra Fine screens are the go-to screens for me currently with a PVHES GonG. Tried UF screens with non HE GonG and draw was way too restricted. Turns out it was the GonG more than the screen...

At first, I used the stock pvhes screen and sucked a tiny bit of kief on my mouth and throat when loading my stem. I decided to switch to uf screen. But I needed to clean them oftently :ugh:. So switched back to larger screens; I suck less hard when loading my stem. I get a bit of kief, in my mouth only, when using bonedry materials.

Put my Solo onto charge today and nothing. Just gives me the battery level by number of lights lit but no charge light. Still heated up too and worked on PA mode until the battery went completely dead :(

Have ordered a backup being delivered tomorrow, but want to get this one fixed too.

Any suggestions before sending it in for warranty repair?

TIA

IDK if this is a question for the Solo thread or @Pipes but I've noticed that my Solo will throttle down to heat level 1 when using the AIO+ as a PA. Is this a problem anyone else has encountered? I thought it was maybe the auto timer but it happened quicker then 12 minutes apart the other day...

@530rasta better get on that. Sale ends on the 31.

I have noticed the connection piece slips both on the big black thingy and sometimes with the stock one not the first one he made. So check the computer type power thing and push it in hard
Maybe I should try English. The connection of the big ass plug on the big black box is hinky sometimes. Push it in hard. Now if you have an L bracket in your stand you should be good, if it is the stock bracket it does slip. I am trying to use my old solution of velcro but I haven't gotten around to it.

The power brick is where I had the initial issue and still do. Any movement it loses connection. In the stand I think I explained it above but if you have his with the L bracket you are good on that end. Check you brick and figure out where to put it that it doesn't get pulled. I noticed cause the light was going on and off and still does unless I put it somewhere I can't pull on it at all.

fbomb is awesome. I dont like double percs though so I only fill the bottom and its getting me lifted highly. Some folks said on a thread here that they couldnt get the water out of the top part that easy..i just used some paper towel, slid it down there, and it sucked up the water no problem. Now I have a nice bottom perc with straight flow from there up to my head!

thanks for the heads up on the other glass but this is fine to me, cant see it being that different imho

I like the PNWT and use it from time to time since receiving it.

Glad to own it however my ASH CATCHER with a SHERLOCK is my preference.

I think the 18MM GonG may give the effect I desire?

Some might like the 14MM GonG configuration better?
I made a few adjustments to use the PNWT.

After many trials I think if these type of water path (SOLO) is better with a 18mm GonG.

The F-BOMB with a 18MM and no logo would be the best option.

The PNWT is well made and most likely works better on the PINNACLE PRO.

It works OK with the SOLO.

Even the BLACK LEAF BUBBLER from PLANET VAPES works better than the PNWT.

I'll not an expert by any means.

These are just my own personal observations!

I use the double 18mm fitting to use the spare as a carb!

I don't have an issue with the tube and the PVHES 14mm GonG... I do wish I got the Shorty though. But yes I'd prefer a Sherlock style top. I wish VB would make a GonG adapter for that.

So you think a 14mm GonG PHVES SHORTY?

Maybe I need to try that?

Try the new charger.

Good luck.

They all do, at least the 3 I've tested do. They still time out for the same (safety) reason, but go to standby not off if in PA mode. It's a PA thing I think, not a problem.....a feature.

The on period can be less than 12 minutes, I convinced myself that the timing went from the time the cycle started, not from the time the level was raised. That is fiddle around dumping and reloading the stem and putting it back in while it sits waiting and you'll get a short session unless you unplug the PA and plug it back in to reset. From a programing standpoint treating it this way makes sense. You stay 'up' and just force it back to standby every 12 minutes.

Thanks @OF, I have tried the stock charger and a third party charger from Amazon that I have been using with Pipes CARPA, but neither work. Will try the new charger I get, but don't hold out much hope.

Would disconnecting the battery to "reset" it perhaps work? I might try that before sending in...

You're welcome, I agree if you've tried two different chargers a third isn't likely to help much.

Yes, I think a reset is worth a try since charging is under software control. If it were me, I'd probably swap battery packs as well?

Good luck.

So I got my Spiral pre cooler today. I like it....
Just put in FRIDGE for 20 minutes and it really cools well.
Only did one session so far and it stayed cool through the whole double timer session.
Don't mind the 14mm as a mouth piece neither. Use the Gong strait like that all the time anyway.
Seems more then enough cooling for the Solo and in fact having thoughts if better then the WTs. We'll see.

It's a little heftier then the f-BOMB or PNWT. Still manageable with one hand but would keep the second hand around just in case...

Don't think I'll even risk the freezer as the fridge does just fine.
