The Pinnacle by Vaporblunt

I just recieved my WT for the pinnacle and I'm a bit ashamed to ask but how the hell do I fill this cutie with water? And how do you clean it?
I agree!! Mine is already getting a bit of residue in the top of the 1st chamber and the screen connection is dirty enough that it bugs me. I figured on just ISO soaking them, but Im sure someone here has a better option.
And yes I filled mine through the top and just a bit of water remains in the top section.

Hey Upupandaway, did you ever visit TRVB to demo the Pinnacle Pro? Let us know, it would be cool to hear about features and performance. I'm really interested in that one....

My prototype blew up less than 24 hours of use. This is pretty normal at this stage. I hope to have a new one by this weekend

Edit: to clean the WT, use alcohol and salt or a lass cleaner for pipes like 420 cleaner or orange chronic. The water should be filled to just above the slits on the shower

How are you all solving the issue of not letting the PN turn on in your pocket? I was moving with it yesterday in my hand and it had just gone off and boom on again without meaning to do it. I do not want it to turn on in my pocket but that seems easy to do.

I would love to know what the tool are for that we got with the vape and the WT. I only found purpose for the great black brush so far. It can clean the specs away and the other end helps load and especially unload the bullet.

I am still waiting for my answer about the chamber. IS THE CHAMBER THAT HOLDS THE BULLET SOLID? CAN I PUT ISO IN IT AND LET IT SOAK IN THERE? I am unable to tell from looking and am trying to find the best way to clean.

Can we have a full cleaning instructions please instead of it in pieces.

This is what I understand so far:
  1. WT can be cleaned with water and salt or using one of the chemical cleaners, you can also use rezblock to help it not get so dirty.
  2. You can clean the mouth piece with the screen in with iso or boil.
  3. The chamber that holds the bullet :hmm:

I just got my Pinnacle! :D I love how small and simple it is...very discreet. Palming it is a cinch, especially since I have the world's largest hands. :brow: As soon as it's finished charging, I'll give my first impressions. There's nothing quite like getting a new toy, is there?

The heating chamber is not solid, there are small holes for the air path at the very bottom of the core. Soaking the core with ISO is not recommended, it will void the warranty, and may short the heating element inside.

I would recommend using a q-tip soaked in ISO to clean the chamber. Either Hot or Cold, wont hurt it either way, see what gets you the best mileage. You just do not want to pour ISO (or any other liquid) into the heating chamber.

this thing is so awesome.

size is perfect, build seems very good, love the feel of the device.

water tool is very cool, well made, feels sturdy.

ABV from a fine grind was very dark and consistent.

the upper half of the unit does get rather warm.

my only concern...everyone mentions it tasting really good.

i've been using an Extreme Q, and this definitely has a different taste.

i hate to say that it tastes like plastic, but it doesn't taste quite right.

this is only my second bullet so maybe that will go away, anybody else ?

Thank you that is what I needed to know if it was solid or not. Is there a chance of finely ground stuff getting through those holes? My guess is it would be hard since we can't see them but you never know. Again this is all about cleaning to factor new.

I should have my full review up on Wednesday after my car test. I am going to use my now smelly long straw as well as the now smelly pong adapter. If anything does smell in the car my guess it will be those two pieces but won't be as strong as other vapes. I did light up my room last night with the long straw cause it is now nice and oily from using it for weeks on diff vapes.

My new Pinnacle finished charging about an hour ago. Here are my first impressions:

WOW. JUST. WOW!

Let me tell you why I'm so impressed with the Pinnacle. When I took it out of the box, what struck me first is how discreet the PN is. It has PINNACLE (sufficiently generic) etched into the plastic, but that's it. You would have to pick it up and look at it to even notice it. The PN feels good in the hand, is easily palmed, and fits in pants pockets nicely...although your GF or wifey may think you're happy to see her.

Now on to the good stuff. The initial charge took about an hour and a half. I loaded the bullet with dry, finely ground herb (MIDS) about 3/4 of the way to the top. The PN took about minute to get up to low temp. My first few clouds were small, but satisfying. As I progressed in my sesh, the clouds became bigger...and bigger. The PN turned off after about 10 minutes. I turned it back on and it was up to temp in seconds. I kept hitting and the Pinnacle kept fogging! I remember thinking, I can't believe I'm still getting hits. Then I turned it up to high, which took 10 seconds. Shit got real...real fast. Incredible, dense clouds that had me choking...in a good way. I hit the PN until it shut off again, and I still haven't finished the bullet! Right now, I am really, REALLY VAKED! :freak:

Obviously, I am completely happy with my purchase. If there is a negative, it's that the mouthpiece without the "tips" gets very warm. Other than that, I have yet to see any negatives. The airflow is open and easy...the trick is to use long, slow breaths. Pretty small learning curve for the PN. I found the two temperatures, low (370F 188C) and high (390F 199C) to be perfect. I must add that as a medical user, I prefer high temp vaping. I have Crohn's disease and the PN medicated me well, even on the low setting. Remember, temperature can be altered somewhat depending on draw speed. :science:

The thing that really blows me away is how efficient the PN is. My first portable purchase was a Pax. The Pax is a fine vape, but IMHO, quite a hog. This led me to get a log vape, my beautiful UD, which is very efficient. My first impression is that the PN may even beat my UD in terms of efficiency. Time will tell. Long story short, the Pinnacle was SO worth the $183 (without the WT) I spent. Perfect vape for noobs and people who are concerned that the effects (especially medical users) of vaping cannabis are different from smoking. Highly recommend. Thank you, Vaporblunt. You hit a home run.

should i be worried about the taste?

i really hate dealing with returns, but everyone else is saying it tastes great, while mine definitely tastes weird.

I remember reading your post about the taste with your PN, Rufus. I think you may have a defective unit. There was absolutely no problem with taste on my PN...even this first time I used it. Dealing with returns does suck, but I think it will be worth it in this case.

Well I took the Pinnacle out on the road and Saturday and used the car voltage adaptor to keep the unit charged and ready to go.
The charger worked fine and charged theinnacle with no problems at all.
Using the pinnacle without the water tool and using the the regular mouth piece on the go worked out just fine, I usually just use the water tool or other water tools when using the Pinnacle.
I find the Pinnacle easy to use and very efficient in terms of using the herb that is in the chamber and evenly extracting the effective extracts from the material. Every bullet used comes out evenly extracted and effectively medicates me every time.
After the initial charge of 3 hours the pinnacle recharges in less the half the time.
I think that if your hitting the pinnacle with some good herb a full session should be enough time to extract all the vital botanicals and should be enough to medicate effectively..I have never combusted with this unit you could go through one bullet through all 4 cycles on high and it still will not combust.
Since it is more of a convection vaporizer it utilizes the heat produced to sweep throuh the herb chamber obviously through a temp that effectively extracts the herb and never combusts because of the placement of the heating element and the convection properties of the pinnacle, in my opinion a good convection vape works effectively evenly using the herb and never burning any herb in the herb chamber.
This design is a very effective and works well.
Clouds aren't the biggest but the effectiveness is as if the clouds were huge, Lol.
I love this thing. It works very well. It's my favorite vape right now due too the size versatility and effectiveness.
Cheers, medical mark

I ordered from GotVape. They have a 20% discount code...PIN20. Without the water tool, the Pinnacle comes to $183.20, including shipping. With the water tool, it comes to $263. They ship the same day you order.
Is this code have an expiration date? Thanks!

No man, there is no issue with the taste. Just because one person says it doesn't compare to a plug in unit... doesn't mean you should fret. I've yet to use a portable that puts out the same kind of power available from a desktop. I've been using it for about 3 weeks, and the only issue you can legitimately make is the fact the lid is a little loose.

Cleaning is also a common issue being brought up... and the most common question on ANY portable vape is smell. People love to know if vapes smell lol. Vapes ALL smell. You won't smell it across the room... but if you put your nose net to it... it'll faintly smell. As far as cleaning goes... invest in some cleaning wipes (similar to those given at restaurants). Just use your tools given in combo with these wipes and you can have a brand new looking Pinnacle after every use. I'll explain it more clear with visuals in my video. Should be up tonight if it doesn't take too long to upload to YouTube.

FYI, ordered Pinnacle + WT on Saturday. The Pinnacle is in stock, but the water tool is back ordered. The good news is, the Hydrotubes Are expected to come in this Wednesday, and my order will ship on Thursday morning. Just a heads up because their website shows the Pinnacle/WT package in stock, but it is not...
