Arizer Solo

I have one of those old school hand crank pencil sharpeners from back in the day on the wall, just a couple of feet from the plug. I drape the wire up and over that, to suspend it, so I am not getting all tangled up. That is my "office" btw... we are in a pretty cramped space right now, but it's a warm, dry, affordable place to live, so eh...what are ya gonna do?? Solo performs, no doubt, and you would get much thicker vapor using the stock style, just not as easy of a draw, have to go slower.

Ye i think your right,
I'm about to place my order
i do love my MFLB and would like to think it will still have it's place alongside the solo?
do you find this is the case?
I can't use the MFLB because the taste profile isn't even close.
I can not justifying putting TOP SHELF Flowers in something that alters their flavor profile.

I just want to know what the wire is hanging on cause that part that plugs into the solo is just as short as the charging wire I hate it. Why do they think making that part so short is ok? The plug to wall is long.
DEAMERR I have to be tucked a way in the far corner of the garage.(stealth away from the family)
The cord is actually long enough I was making a point that I recharge when it hits level 4.
I tried the double screen technique.
WOW! Works great!

I shut down my factory so I have a little corner in the garage where I medicate away from the family.
That's why I have two PERSEI's and two SOLO'S I had a set up at both locations. Now I just have one spot to medicate. I need to remodel my garage and set up a CAVE.

Here's the Solo on glass, set on 7, using a PVHES Turbo Gong stem. I only loaded the stem about 1/3 full, lightly pressed in. Fresh video for your viewing pleasure.

That's it!
I love your set up!

Guess it only annoys the shit out of me then hehe. I guess they save a few pennies and then multiply that by whatever and it is worth it to them for a short cord. It would be smarter for the plug into wall/power strip side to be shorter. I am going to have to hang it but the box is heavy so it will take doing. Right now i have it jammed in my mattress to give me the length I need.

Jam yours still looks longer then mine cause you are still pretty far away from the box part.
Cell phone 4' to short for me
Regular charge cord for solo 45" so 3" less
and PA 4' but has huge weight on it so really makes it maybe 2 usable feet without all the weight.
INH by far has the longest and to long for me to measure at the moment. I think 6' should be a min on stuff that has to be charged all the time like vapes.

If stuff is on your counter or things like regular phones that always stay plugged in it is different that having to look for a cord then some place to put the item and the cord. I guess nails i walls are only way to fix this issue.

Rant over maybe:D

I can't wait to see the man cave....

I found my PA on ebay about a year ago, so that may be why it's a different length. Mine seems plenty long, like your average PC power supply.

Blue Monkey, you might consider the Flashvape.
My vote: Solo or Flashvape.
https://www.planetvape.ca/flashvape-deluxe-set.html

I did study this one and looks like it will have its place in a quiver.
OK I'll most likely buy one in a month or two.
The SOLO is proven and you really can't go wrong.
My SOLO's are my FLOWER devices.
So at some point I will get more toy's however my set up is currently working.
The SOLO with a Water pipe SET-UP IS A "must have" SET UP.
This is my next adventure!

No, I haven't read all 488 pages, but I took that part out of my comment because, as I stated, I haven't used one yet. I look forward to finding out first hand.

I would say for a first Vape the solo is going to be a better experience in both flavor and ease of use. Albeit, I like what I've read in the FV thread thus far(specificaly its price)however, my concern that there is somewhat of a learning curve with the FV. IMO, the solo is turn key - I remember getting my first solo and immediately saying to myself "why the fuck didn't I pull the trigger sooner on this!"

Besides - once your VAS kicks in the FV will make a great addition to your eventual collection!

And dreamrr - our ninja friend just joined - 488 pages is alot for 24 hours - even for us weed nerds! I'm sure he'll catch up on his vapor porn!

And yes - the Solo has no problems giving up the milk!

I didn't mean to say he should read it just saying making a comment like that without reading or knowing wasn't correct. I don't blame anyone for not reading and if he asked I would have answered the solo makes huge clouds.

Oh and I forgot Ninja welcome to the forum and the fun.

you are correct dreamrr - the solo definitely makes clouds, its one of those vapes that I can never imagine getting tired of. Just a constant producer. :D

IMO - it's like a mini cloud.

Totally, my VAS symptoms crept up a couple days ago... That's why I bought the FlashVape!!

Yeah, Iinitially I thought the same way as you that the FlashVape required too much of a learning curve to be user friendly. That's until about 10 days ago when they announced the Stage 2 add on. With the stage 2 you get the same 5 second warm up in a 100% convection device. Therefore, your herb won't continue to roast when you are not hitting it...... Very efficient. Additionally, it takes the risk of combustion out of the picture. It's much more user friendly now. If you like quick sessions this might be worth a look. It's the only portable where you can take 7 or 8 good hits, blow some clouds and be done in about 3 minutes LOL......

The FV is only heating when you have the button pressed, it doesn't matter whether you're using the S2 kit or not. The Solo isn't a pure conduction design but there is some conduction happening, and because the heater is on when you aren't hitting it, it does cook the load somewhat.

Wow I ordered my solo late Friday night from piu and already today I see it's out for delivery in my town. From sacremento to Michigan in 2 days over a weekend! Now the minutes are going so slow waiting for the damn mail lady!

Yes, thanks for the correction. It doesn't matter if you're using the regular FV or the FV with the stage 2 add -on; the load won't cook unless you Peres the bottom on the unit. So the main benefits of using the S2 setup is as follows:

1) FV becomes 100% convection unit.( the Solo is a combination of convection and conduction and will cook your load, but not nearly as much as most other portables). Ie..the Pax.....

2) With The S2 kit, the FV is very resistant to combustion.( the Solo is also resistant to combustion, I have never combusted and I haven't heard reports of combustion from any other users).

3) Although taste is generally good with the Solo. The FVS2 being a pure convection vape is likely to deliver superior taste to that of the Solo depending on draw technique and length of time you hold the button.

4) The FV heats up in a mere 5 seconds. Very condusive to short sessions while on the go. On the other hand, The Solo takes about 1.5 minutes to heat up and then you have to wait a short period of time to allow the heater to catch up before your next hit..

5) you can certainly blow big clouds with both units. However, the edge might go to the Flashvape. Vitolo's video on the FV thread shows him blowing numerous huge clouds in a very short period of time.

6) they are both very easy to clean, but the edge may go to the Solo considering there are no screens to concern yourself with.....

Pak, do you agree with my assessment? Of course, I'm only going by reviews and videos on the FV thread. I have not tried the Flashvape myself yet.

Bottom line the Flashvape may not be the vape for everyone, but there is nothing else like it in the potable market right now and it is certainly unique in its capabilities....

I love my Solo, but I can't wait to get my Flashvape to compare the vaping experience between the two units!!

Ok so my solo got here around noon, it was fully charged, so I did a burn off cycle. Then I got right to work! Only the tippy tippy top shelf meds for me. And holy shit! I am so happy I sold my pax to buy this thing. It's better than the pax in every way except for stealth and I don't care about that. There is nearly zero learning curve. I've been blowing clouds on 3. Even had my dad blowing clouds in his first rip! And he's old school doesn't understand vapes or even care too! All in all I wish I had purchased the solo back when I first jumped on the pax bandwagon. It's a great vape all around now I can't wait til my new fritted bubbler is done. I gotta say thanks to randy at PIU. I ordered my solo late Friday night and it was at my door monday morning. From Cali to Michigan. This was the free ground shipping. He also swapped out the grinder for me to and added an extra stem instead. Very happy with my desision.

I almost feel like the solo thread is becoming an extension to the FV thread.

VaPeD&Con - I am so happy your enjoying your solo! Randy always takes care of us well, I recommend lots of people over to him. The solo is one of my faves of all times and trust me, I've been through over 30 different vapes - most of which couldn't shine the solo's shoes.

Congrats on your purchase.

By fritted bubbler, do you mean a bubbler with a fritted disc (like the david goldstein pieces)? I've been looking for someone to make a fritted downstem, but haven't had any luck...

Anybody match their Solo with a small hydratube that works well with the unit? I want something that is reasonably portable.. Maybe a 8 or 9 inch piece? I know Planet Vape has future plans for a PVHES H20 tube that sounds great, but will probably not be available for a long time. Anything on the market now that will meet my criteria of being small and portable, andthat will work well with the Solo?

check out the Pinnacle thread, they are going to have a smaller water tool, that looks promising to use with the Solo as well...soon to be available.

Thanks Jamband! That's exactly what I'm looking for.... Huge clouds for a little tube. I'll check out the Pinnacle Thread.

Any other suggestions?

Yeah, the swagger HT looks like an awesome WT, but I think I'm looking for something a little smaller more portable. About how tall is that piece?
