its statements like this that push me away from the PAX when i start to want one.
you already have an arizer so your good to go..

i like my solo much more than my pax, especially with the wood stem i got from ed.. if the solo was a bit smaller i would sell the pax and use it for on the go..

with that said my pax is still good to use while the solo is charging lol, or when im out and about.

thanks and you are right.... but the solo does not fit anywhere i would like it to fit on my motorcycle. i am shopping around for a vape that i can bring with me on my long motorcycle outings (no i do not vape while i am riding. this is for the longer breaks i take when i am out for 100+ mile runs). so i was looking for a vape that would fit in my gas tank pouch that is just large enough to hold a pack of cigarettes (100 size, and no i don't smoke cigarettes anymore) and a lighter. sad to say... my first choice will not fit in that pouch (i was looking at the inhalater inh004 based on its awesome reviews), but the pax will. These revies are scaring me away though and i already went through a new vape disaster with the Puffit.... i am not willing to go through another situation like that

Time for a different one!
:p

Hey now...:D

So far so god with mine. The light can be a little whacky sometimes, but I gave it a good cleaning last night and it's still working great. As soon as I swabbed out that air path, the mouthpiece clicked so much better. *knocks on wood*

I agree with you on the convection vs conduction methods. The viVape 2 is heated with glass on glass, not a direct heat, so it gives the herb a nice even taste, as opposed to a few good hits followed by muted flavor. I actually ended up pre ordering my miVape this morning, and am really excited about it! It is supposed to be exactly like the viVape 2, but mini version, so I'm sure you would like it too! :D

This is the Pax thread. We have a viVape thread and a miVape thread if you want to talk about those devices. You don't seem to be looking for information about the Pax, so I suggest you post in those threads.

Hello FuckCombustioners! First post here... Got my pax about 2 months ago and i was really happy with it. (i didnt have any of the common issues most peepz have) I use about 2 oven loads every night. Ive been using the same screen since i got it (as it only came with one and the replacement screen pack never arrived, i am still waiting for it from vapeworld, should be coming at the end of nov they said). Anywayz ive been having a problem now where my pax hardly heats up the oven, i never feel the burning lip sensation anymore, and the vape clouds have gone much much smaller. I use it on high and load a full oven. I am truly hoping that its just because ive used the screen too much and its not conducting heat onto the herb anymore.. but i am not convinced this is the problem. Has anyone elese expirienced this? Any solutions? Like i said i was so happy with my pax and ive kept it clean all the time. Any tips will be apreciate it... this sucks just got my first 2 weeks of work in nearly 2 years and cant vape ;( I seem to belive this happened either since i had a mate over and he really sucked hard on it, or since i cleaned it maybe too througly with 99%iso, although i did follow the cleaning instructions xD
Thanks & REgards

What colour is your ABV? If you use high then it should be a dark brown, like ground coffee. If the Pax isn't heating up properly it will be noticeably lighter. I don't think this has anything to do with the screen or with someone drawing hard on it.

Yeah it use to be dark brown, now even after say 5-7 hits its still light brown and green on the top...what could have happened? The biggest changes from thecomparewd to when i started using it is that the vapor prodction has reduced a lot, i dont feel the burnnig lips or even hot air going into me and the avp is much lighter in color...

I'd say it's no longer heating up properly and you should contact Ploom.

A sign of a low battery is when the oven temp runs flat no matter the setting. At least that's what I notice on mine. Perhaps there is a charging issue? How are the contacts on the unit/charger? I would still contact Ploom either way, as suggested.

Tweek,

BLAZING OG

Vaping is a way of life!
I followed most of this thread and the inh, but iam hoping someone can answer this for me , I apologize in advance , as i have asked this before with no answer!
I want to buy both the pax and inh, with that said, what vape produces thicker clouds of vape ? Pax or inh?

I Want to purchase the vape that produces thicker clouds fiirst then the purchase other vape for My Wife WHO doesn't like thicker clouds!

BLAZING OG,

They both make excellent clouds depending on how hot you heat them up. What I would suggest is you get the Pax now, if you already plan to get one anyway, because they said they don't plan to upgrade any time soon. INH however will be releasing an updated model in a month or so. I use them both daily, and find them both heavy hitters as far as vapor goes.

I hope you enjoy it as well! I've been having alot of fun with mine. The indicator light has been a bit wonky lately, but I know sometimes these issues go away once the battery "settles" (I hope)

After investigating i can give you the additional ifollowing information on how the device is reacting:
Seems to charge as per usual, but strangely quick. Last time i tried it it only took about 30 mins and the device was about 1 quarter full. I charged it till green, but then when i turned it on and shook it straight away it turned orange and not green...
When using it this is what i noticed.
On low heat setting the device doesnt produce any vape at all, and the herb in the oven remains completely green even after several pulls (say 10 pulls)... no vape at all and no brown avp...
On medium the same happens, it hardly creates any vape... a tiny bit more than on low, but the herb also remains completely green, maybe a tiny bit brown but only the layer closest to the screen...
On high the device produces a small amount of vape (maybe about the amount i use to get on low setting when the device was functioning properly) but worst thing is that the quality of the vape isnt nice, it feels like its combusting. At this setting the herb in the oven becomes very black on the layer closest to the screen, light brown in the middle of the oven, and very close to fully green avp next to the oven door..
I hope these make sense and help us determine the problem, im sad that you reckon the problem isnt the screen, although i also wasnt so convinced this was the problem.
Please help me get it sorted so i can vape sometime during my little holiday xD
I am in touch with vapeworld but any help or specially fixes here would be greatly apreciate it! Has anyone else had this problem?
