I'm buying the MFLB today. Are there any particular items I should be getting with it as well? Like upgraded batteries or the finishing grinder for example. I'll be using this primarily on the road and it hotel rooms so stealth and efficiency are paramount.

I recently saw them on Amazon for around $100. They were around $72 not too long ago. Gotvape will price match for $80 and maybe even lower. For more detailed information check out the FAQs on the magic flight site and this link on vaporpedia. http://www.vaporpedia.com/wiki/Magic-Flight_Launch_Box. Definitely get some more good batteries. I bought a 4 pack plus charger on amazon. You'll have to peel the labels off. Have some wd40 around to remove the glue residue. For caps, I used screw protector caps from the hardware store. The MFLB likes a very fine grind. And dry herb seems to work best. Some people use whirly blade coffee grinders, but magic flight sells some pretty good grinders as well.

I had the same issue. I tried tightening the metal around the button like was suggested somewhere in this thread, and then realized my trouble is usually making the negative contact with the ring rather than not pushing it in far enough. Try pushing or pulling the end of the PA toward you as you press do:wn, it solves the issue for me for the most part.

One time i was usin it w my friend whos pretty cynical about vaping so i took the buffer ring out to make it easier for both of us but mostly him. Its the one time my trench got cherried. I was not enthused

You know UpUpandAway... I bet you could pull on that perc a bit harder and still get nice foggy hits off that Mobius. Its easy to see a nice flow of vapor coming in the dewaar. About what I usually see in my videos, where the MFLB works well, with that particular glass.

If you don't mind, trying something for my amusement. Raise your water level about 1/4" to just covering the top of where the perc starts to flare out. Then do another take, with a steady pull and constant bubbling at the top of the water. Just a hunch, but I'm thinking that piece will pull hits like the Leviathan in my last video.

My MFLB seems to have quit making vapor I bought brand new batteries have cleaned the screen numerous times and have ground my bud as fine as I usual did to no avail. I get the light but I get no vapor :/

When you say you get a light ,
Is it a brightly lit bulb or just dimly lit ?
Just wanted to eliminate , if it was a charger problem .

I also had the same issue .
Take a real close look at your trench/screen .
Mine had a slight tear at the edge of the trench end .
That prevented it from total conduction to produce any vapors . imo

I got a free replacement from MF .

Maybe even a little higher. I would spend some time experimenting with the level. I'm just curious which type of percs, work well with it. Volume is kind of a non-issue, even in larger bubblers, is what I'm finding out. Its the method of perc making the joy.

So, I guess the idea of the MFLB being kind of self cleaning is out, eh? You don't vape opium in there do you?

The screen is self-cleaning. Under the screen... isn't. That's a shitton of residue though. I don't even have that much in mine...

No, but 'dollars to doughnuts' the herb wasn't properly cured. Many of us have run LOTS of dry herb through ours with minimal build up.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that the LB is self-cleaning. All Magic-Flight claims is that that the screen stays clean except where it contacts the rails. Some build-up there is natural and doesn't affect performance. There has never been a claim that the LB can self-clean the area under the screen.

The build-up in that picture is most likely from using cannabis that wasn't thoroughly dried. I have almost no resin under my screen, and I've used it several times a day most days for around two years.

I talked about it some pages back but that's probably 15-20 pages off honestly... what I do when I get my stuff is just grind it all down at once with a coffee grinder, leave it out for a bit for the moisture to dry out (usually only a few hours for me.) I like it dry as it can be, and the nug jugs I use to store my stuff in aren't 100% airtight so after a few days it gets really really dry. It took me a little while to get used to it being so dry and grinding it all at once instead of leaving the buds together until I want something. Breaking the various smoking habits is a bit hard at first.

Folks, that MFLB in the picture had a ripped screen and I continued use, I then processed the warranty months after. that is why it had that buildup, otherwise is wouldnt be that thick.

I keep my stash in the freezer, which tends to dry it out over time. I've stored it both ground and unground and if there's any difference I've never noticed it. The only reason I store it without grinding is that I haven't found the time to grind it yet.

If you're worried, don't grind everything at once. I use one of those little bottles that one-a-day aspirin come in. They're great for holding a gram or two of ground weed, and the desiccant takes care of drying.

You mean besides using it to waterproof your boots? Yeah, some narrow minded self indulgent types 'put it in their pipe and smoke it'. Or in this case, vape it. Stuff's very rich in THC you know......

Consider before it condensed it was vapor on it's way out the hole and into some lucky owner's mouth.

hmmm my stem has a good little puddle along the bottom of it now. I remember someone being able to finagle it out with the PA and a little ingenuity, but my rudimentary search of the thread came up fruitless
