What? They got no internet there? You need to pay him more so he can vacation closer to hot spots.....

No real need wake up your engineer for such a simple check, your friendly neighborhood ohm meter will confirm the two slots are connected to each other.

no hot spot,

and the friendly neighborhood genius only know simple stuff on the ohm meter, he trys to concentrate on designs not technical crap. :-)

Tried to pre-oxidize a cart.

Saw it glow a few times...and let it cool off a few times.

Put it down for a few minutes again, picked it up and now - NO battery will make it light up.

I didn't even get to use it!

Is there anything I can do to revive it or fix it?

Unless yours is different than mine, the two slots are in fact one and the same. There is only one channel, the two cells are just in parallel.

That's actually what I was worried about, but I just realized the ending voltage would be the same anyway...

The real danger (if there is only one channel) is that the charged battery would dump huge current into the under-charged one... I'll have to see how fast the under-charged battery rises next time I charge two different batteries...

But the charger does say 1 and 2 on it so hopefully it's smart enough to charge them independently and it just has one light to save on costs or something...

My bet is no, unfortunately. I'm guessing it got a little too hot for a little too long. What resistance and voltage were you running?

I hope you've got more carts?

Like I said, IMRs are real though, could be the only thing to hurt one is another one? I'd be worried about other chemistries. I think you can tell a lot by feeling the battery at the start of charging. If it starts heating up fast, time to try another plan.

Hope for what you want, but I'm pretty confident there's no smarts in there, only two wires out to the two bays (in parallel). For most uses, it should be just fine. It's guys with a pile of flashlights say that might find otherwise?

but this updated manual is available where? The manual on the Planet Vape for the Persei appears to be the same original Persei manual?

Hi rufrothy,
The original Persei online manual and the one printed out in the Persei kits is version 1.1. Currently on our website we have version 1.3 , it includes some updates, additions and most notably a new cartridge filling section. You can download it from here http://www.planetvape.ca/persei-vaporizer-kit.html just click on the attachments tab.

honestly wish for a bigger skillet like porous heating ceramic to place your dab on top of it and turn it on. This design is very similar to the ThermoVape Dart...how does it differ in performance etc? Thanks THCS for the continuous innovation and dedication.

Sorry boss, we had this design before TV, they just happened to put it out first. There is a big difference on what is inside then people see. that middle tube is what sets it apart from the Dart to our design.

The middle tube was changed so it did not resemble the dart, this was stated in the prior showing of the first design. Also this solves many issues we have seen with the first design we had.

Here is the image of the first design we had, we did a lot of testing on this, that is why we switched it up in the second design. I wont say why we did not release it early and what flaws it has with this design, but all i can say is that is has major flaws, expect the final production model to be different then what is posted as the second design. We are working on a heater that will heat up faster, and last about a year. This is our mission.

1.5ohm on a 3.7V battery.

Why would it just stop working? Something burned inside?

the heating wires are a little sensitive. You need to let it cool down and allow the oil to saturate the wick again. If the heating wire is not wet it gets to hot and breaks.

Just in case the pre oxidized carts are on the next production run. some are pre oxidized but for now just need to pre oxidize them just to make sure.

Really looking forward for the release of this!

Will it require the HVD?

No this sill require only a standard omicron or persei 3.7v for now,

I love the design but as a curious consumer and enthusiast I wanted to KNOW the difference between the two. Like how is the center tube contribute to the difference. I know its wise to keep the competition in the dark but would love as much info as you can provide. Looking forward to the upgrades :D

does anyone know if the standard omicron mouthpiece (the black "sleek looking"one) is the same one on delta9...the 6 pack drip tip ones?
