This thread and THC SCIENTIFIC are the main reasons why I bought a omicron. I love that he actually gives a shit when people ask him questions and the fact that dub c is willing to go out and drive to customers is rather reassuring. I suggest you sticky this thread to your website, its what swayed me to purchase it.

So I recently got a V2 but dont know if its hitting right. Havent gotten to try a second cart yet but the vapor is so hard to get and thin. Could there be anything wrong with my omicron? Or my method? i know its prob just a bad cart, or you might say bad oil, but i just feel like i should be getting more. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If its flowing pretty freely you need to prime it more, if it is hard to draw air through you should prime then try to clear the clog. The regular 2.4 ohm carts on 3.7v are a light heat that works best with puregold and really light oils. Try the 1.5 ohm carts on 3.7v for a bit easier time.
Did you heat the cart enough to make sure the oil is down at the bottom?

I seriously doubt there's a problem with the Omicron or cart (could happen, of course, but the odds are strongly against it). If it's getting warm enough to vape anything, it's a safe bet it's vaping all the oil it can.
I strongly suspect it's your loading technique. Ever load one before? How did you do it? What sort of concentrate did you use? I'm pretty sure we can sort this out.

All right, we're on track to sort this sucker out, I think.
Here's what I think happened; the oil hit cold metal on the way down and hardened up early leaving an air gap inside. All the oil that gets past this block vapes fine, but it's having trouble getting past it to the wick below.
So we're going to 'melt it down'. But we have to be careful not to get stuff too hot or the seals at the bottom will end up leaking on is and we'll have to scrap the cart (not to worry, we can save most of the oil but you loose a ten buck cart and have to start over.....let's not do that). The key is to hold it in the right place, keep it moving and don't burn your fingers.
Hold the cart upright about a third of the way up with your 'weak' hand. Use your thumb and forefinger so you can rotate the cart as you heat it, you need to heat from all sides. The seals are just below your fingers, that part of the metal must stay cold enough to hold on to without saying dirty words. Now preheat the center of the cart (the missing step in loading) jsut abofe your fingers until you feel the SS body get warm. SS is a poor conductor of heat so it can be pretty hot fairly close and your OK. Do this with your lighter flame, but keep it turning so it heats all around, the heat won't travel far on it's own. Once you feel heat working down, run the flame UP the cart toward the top with plenty of heat (just short of smoke coming out) as long as your fingers don't get too hot in which case stop, let it cool, and go again if necessary. If you're careful and lucky you should feel it rapidly heat a little bit when the hot oil drops down, but don't wait on that. When the part under your fingers gets hot (fast of slow), stop. You're done. Should take 15 maybe 20 seconds? Let it cool and you should be good to go.
Good luck. Once you understand how to do it, it's easy. You'll know when you get it going right.....

How warm is the cart @ full blast ? (can you touch cart w/o feeling '"hot"') ~ might be a batt issue (batts go bad ,infrequently !) ~ just pulled a 1300 mAh from charger (full charge) ,wouldn't heat enuf to vape
(put another one in .no prob ?/?/?) ~ not verified yet ,will know after re-charge attempt ~

Find a clear tube of some sort (a pen for example) and use it to make a mouth piece so you can see the vapor until you get the hang of the V2.
Edit: Just noticed you own a MFLB you can use the clear mouthpiece from that. Just cut off the very top of the silicon Omicron mouthpiece, the hole should be just big enough for the MFLB mouthpiece to fit. Now you can see the vapor.

ANY 14650 will do the job ~ you want to be sure they're '"protected"' so there won't be any 'overcharge liability' ~ bear in mind ,batteries can ,infrequently ,expire before their due endlife ~ the protected batts offer ''flash technology"' to show charge status (once no longer flashing ,batt/protection prob) ~
Psst... the 1600's are actually rated @ 1300 which is a longer discharge cycle than 1000's
