I've been doing the same thing, I bought 10 from DHgate sunshinestore, for about 10 bucks. They all fit really well too, at least with the silicone o-rings I have (it's kind of loose with the grey stock ones but still fits okay).

I have all 10 in rotation. Once they all have a nice coat of resin, I toss them in a pot with some milk and make some brain melting caramel hot chocolate :rockon:

While the BG tubes/chillums are functional, and some do fit, they are boring—and a bit long.

I also got some GRAV chillums which come in assorted colors, and at 3”, pocketable.

Being glass, there is some variance, and being glass, fragile. But I like them.

(bottom one is a smaller version which is more attractive to me, came as a freebie with the order.
A bit small for the tip to fit, so it works flipped, and a condenser tube/silicone for stability.)

Something inspired me to get the e-nano out, and here’s what I learned: a vapcap is a great “cleanup” after a convection. I can’t get ABV much darker than straw-colored without the nano’s vapor feeling uncomfortably hot in my throat. But that light ABV has another round or two in a vapcap, to tea-color. Waste not want not:lol:

Test driving a new toy. Stardustsailer made this fine functional art piece. An condenser-less, Ti xl without carb hole. It took a wee bit of technique change but I can adapt. I have been around the block a few times.
With the standard vapcaps, I am able to us them as though they are joints or one hitters with lung pulls. Very nice in deed. With the new model, I had to go to the mouth pull. Sort of like puffing on a cigar or pipe. I like them both. Thanks for the contribution to the wide world of vapcappers, SDS....

Just FYI. Glass mouthpiece AKA BG Chillums. 6 for $8 with free ship on Amazon or Ebay. Search BG Chillum". Specs on the glass are poor. 2 of them did not fit. 4 did. The ends are 'heat smoothed' so the ends are not all exact. Still, for about a buck, a nice glass VapCap stem.

Not as good as DDaves for sure.. ;)

awesome, thanks brother! I'm cool with it if even half of the order fits, the ones that don't will be for my side project. These look like they'll serve well in my attempt at making my own roasty out of a hollowed out bamboo :science:

@Demiurgo, 1st why don't you wait to get the M cause you might like it the way it is.

The M has a built in mouthpiece on a standard condenser, so in order to add a mp you need to:

1) buy a wood body & a spinning mouthpiece.

2) But if you want a longer vc, then buy an XL condenser, spinning mouthpiece & wood stem. Then you can use the M's tip & cap with both this vc & the M. Then all you'll have to do is swap the tip & cap back & forth between the 2 until you want to splurge on a ti tip & cap.

3) you can switch out the M's stem with a wood vong stem & then you'll have a vong for water use. But under this scenario, you won't have a mouthpiece.

Yo, guys! I *should* receive my M soon! I know I can switch the MP, but what about the body? I kinda want one of those made of wood!

And so it begins...:myday:

All components can be switched with others. The possibilities are endless....

The stainless steel tip on an M can be replaced with a ti tip. Condensers and mps can be exchanged as well as different stems and bodies for a unique look and function.

Bodies and stems are the midsection component of a Vapcap. Bodies are the shorter midsections. They are 45mm long and are compatible with a regular length condenser and mp. Your M has a ss stem that is 62mm long and it fits onto the regular condenser without needing a spinning mp to make up the length.

Now if you buy an XL condenser, you can have a stem length midsection with a spinning mp.

Another option is to get an aftermarket stem. We have fantastic artists that create the most sublime custom stems that will fill your heart and fuel your desire.

@stardustsailor makes indestructible titanium stems and now resin coated titanium stems.

@phattpiggie makes beautiful wood and acrylic stems.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/phattpiggies-wood-shed.22215/page-40#post-1227325

Both these artist's work is absolutely stunning. Check them out.

(There is one caveat in the modular compatability. The Omni condenser/mp assembly is not compatible with the ss tip.)

@Demiurgo the vapcap lego-itus strikes, and your M isnt even in hand yet!

Dont worry you are certainly not alone!

I like to make plans ahead of time. But I won't buy anything before the seller ships the package.

I will look into your second point. Sounds fun :D Or maybe if I feel like being stingy, I will just look into your first point XD

Also, youtube reviewers kinda hyped me XD

Oooooh! I kinda want one of those ebony wood pieces I saw on some reviews on youtube (vapecritic and sneaky pete). I'm looking at the craftsmen @stark1 pointed me to.

Thank you guys :3

@Demiurgo, don't be stingy. If you really like the M, go with option 2. And, then, if you're really happy with Option 2 & love the spinning mp, I say go for broke & get another XL condenser & spinning mouthpiece for the M, & a ti tip & cap for the woody. And you can get 1 spin. mp in ti & 1 in wood for variety. Each vc will be complete & you won't have the BS of switching tips. You can keep the decadent woody for home use & the M for outside use, if even just around the yard. You can hurt it, even if your drop it in the mud.

But you have time to really get to know the M to see how satisfied you are with it before you plot you next purchase. Take your time & do it right -- wow! I just vaguely recalled this being a song back in the disco days. There's much you have to learn about the vc so make an educated decision & spend your big bucks wisely.

Here are our VC resident craftsmen:
@Winegums' wood stems
@phattpiggie's wood & acrylic stems
@stardustsailor's ti & resin stems
@Ed's TnT wood stems
@mrb's ti stems

And I can't resist -- for those that remember: :p :lol: For those that don't remember stick with it -- it's got a great beat. I loved dancing to this song back in the day.

All I can say right now is "WOW!"
I had plans to read through this thread before posting in it....
There is no way that will ever happen, it grows faster than the Dynavap company has!
By the time I read a full page, there seem to be three more!
I know when to surrender, so here goes.

Since there is so much talk about these units here I thought it may be a good idea to link my experience so far with the ones I have. I am too old to type all that twice. :)

I plan to add to that thread when time permits. (and my percentage goes up)

@old_skool_smoker, fabulous FC introduction. Welcome! :)

I can't believe that you ran into George having a beer. Wow! That's so cool! Fate had you cross paths with what you needed most at that moment in life, & not only did you cross paths with the vapcap as a product, you happen to have learned about it from George, it's creator. That's wild. :clap: Where did you meet, in Wisconsin?

Welcome to the minority -- a M lover preferential to an Omni. Me, too. :D

The biggest hurdles on the cannabis side were of course the habit of packing a bowl or having a friend show up with one already loaded and wanting to share.

So is this when you break out your guest M? :spliff:

BTW, you are very funny:

it (the thread) grows faster than the Dynavap company has! By the time I read a full page, there seem to be three more! I know when to surrender

This was also about the same time that the smoking Nazis were changing the laws and making smokers feel like some kind of evil criminals out to kill everyone who was near them.

:rofl:

You may perhaps find the “Best of” thread more to the chase, @old_skool_smoker . :wave:

@Demiurgo do you mean “the VAS of Pandora”? PP has an alluring touch with his stems, and
If you blink he will be offering a boxed set, next, I bet. :o
