Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

YAAAAAA!!!! VAPEHUNTER to the rescue!!! :rockon:

I have made a very new an interesting observation. Ever since I rid all my vapes and now only exclusively use the Supreme when I medicate, I have noticed something with the ISO I use to clean my glass from Supreme usage as well as the glass and metal tubes.

Usually, after a few weeks of recycling the same 99% iso for all my vapes, the ISO gets really dark, becomes less effective, and I dump it out.

With the Supreme ISO, it's so weird....it's like a ROSE colour! I've been using the same ISO with it for about a month now, and it's unlike anything i've seen.

I wonder why? Supreme Voodoo? I thought maybe it was because I don't grind usually, but it can't be that because i've used the supreme many times with ground herbs as well.

The glass tubes collect the most gorgeous honey oil so quickly as well!

Sublimation? :lol:

Hard to tell by the description. But they do say NOT compatible with Vap2, only Vap 3......and the pic looks to me like they may be too big, but no way to tell.....I'd love to have one if they fit, so please do advise when you get them @VAPEHUNTER, and thanks as always!!

@biohacker .....Yes, I scrape tons of honey from the walls of my glass tubes. Nearly every day.
It's unreal how much collects.

If you go back a few pages i explained exactly what that "aluminum dust" actually is.
The black dust is just an oxide layer that forms over the aluminum to protect it from the elements.
It occurs naturally and cannot be stopped.
The friction off the silicone rubbing against the outside of the tube slowly wears the oxide layer off.
Since the oxide layer is constantly forming on any wearing surface, you will have oxide dust there and that is all.

I have found out what it is actually called but my earlier description stands.

Thanks for explaining that again Lazylathe, best for whoever is interested to just search out that post because you detailed it so well. I still see aluminum filings though, so there is more to it than just the black dust IME on both of my supremes. I just cleaned mine again today and blew through the top and definitely noticed some more filings. I'm not worried about it, but prefer to stick to the glass tube for this reason.

I also checked out the stock bowl properly...I WAS using the glass tube properly! :ko: The large end is at the top, but with the glass I guess it's irrelevant really.

Sad day, thought the glass tube was just cracked, no so...she manage to break it! Lazy, i'll need your precision cutting skills to help save this tube's life lol. I'll be picking up a couple from VapeHunter for you!

If you are seeing Al filings or bits of Al are falling out of the exchanger then that is a manufacturing defect. Even then, those particles are harmless unless unless they get into your lungs. That would be quite the achievement though. The only Al that is harmful is ground up Al into a powder, that stuff is not good!
The black ring is AlO2, harmless.

Once it's blown out it's gone for a long time. I believe it's from the metal tube friction and some of the filings stay in there, not a manufacturing defect.

With this said, I hope that Ed takes more care in how sharp/rough the edges of the bowls are from a constructive feedback point of view. Everyone knows how much I worship this vape, and like you said there is no way those filings are getting into my lungs, and IMO they aren't even making there way into the glass or water. They stay put either inside the heat exchanger tube, or blend into the black alo2 harmless.

My usage is exceptional, which is why it builds up so fast. And why I broke so many damn Grasshoppers :doh:

I saw a piece on Oregon Glass Blower that is close to what we need. I sent a contact request to see if they could produce one in 9mm OD glass tube with both a 14mm adapter and 18mm.......I will post back when/if I get a reply or more info.

Well good news, the stems from Vapolution showed up a day early and the bad news.....yup you guessed it, they don't fit.
They are way too big. It may work as a pure "convection attachment". I can just place the hot Supreme on top of the loaded stem. :shrug:

Ah man, such a bummer, but thanks so much for taking one for the team bro!

So far nothing beats your glass tubes! But if Justvapin pulls through with the gong tube it will change the game indeed! Hopefully we hear back from OGB!
