CCA Liger banger V3.0

Still have it but with the SiC insert I don't feel a need to hook it up.

Here they are. Nearly all the cracks are internal but they go almost all the way through.

Yep...that's pretty well fucked. So sorry that this happened to you but glad you are getting back on the horse again right after being thrown (that is, you ordered another!:tup::rockon:)

@mrbonsai420, do you know how long it typically takes CCA to respond to pre-sales questions?
I emailed them last Monday evening and no response yet, I guess they are pretty busy.
Also is there still a discount code for FC?

As far as I know my discount FUCKCOMBUSTION still works for 10% off, let me know if it doesn't. And Josh is a 1 man show but he is usually pretty quick to respond. What are you asking, maybe I can pass along the question?

Awesome, thanks much! :)
The liger v3 is very nice but I like the v2 bucket better for my needs. The heat shield would be great for a typical e-nail and heater rig but I'm using an induction heater controlled by an arduino to heat my current Ti banger and the v2 bucket design would work better.
What are the inside and outside dimensions, the height, and weight of 2.0 version of the 20mm bucket?
I need these specs to design a work coil to match the liger.
Also, could I get a 20mm liger v3 body with a v2 bucket with instead of the v3 bucket?

don't think you will actually. just copy the design of a regular 20mm coil and you'd be fine. the advantage of most coils having some wiggle room is you can stretch the coil out after the fact - not so easy if you've built the coil to spec and it's a few millimeters TOO snug.

i don't think the v2 parts are available anymore for purchase but not 100% on that.

Hey, thanks for the input Chase. I'm not using the normal hot runner style coil, I use an induction coil which actually doesn't require contact with the nail.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Induction_heating
"Induction heating is the process of heating an electrically conducting object (usually a metal) by electromagnetic induction, through heat generated in the object by eddy currents (also called Foucault currents)."
This works really well for Ti nails and eliminates the issues a lot of folks have getting and maintaining good thermal contact with the hot runner coils. Check out my induction e-nail project in my sig.

So I was looking for the above data for the coil design. I was thinking he might still be stocking parts for past customers in case they needed a replacement part or even wanted to change bucket size.

I'm tempted to get rid of my v2 20mm. I'll probably get a v3 20mm in a few months.

alright, was wondering what your nail was all about and that makes more sense. will be cool to see where the project leads :science:

Hey, thanks for the assist guys, I did get a reply from Josh and it looks like only the V3.0 is available.
The bucket looks a little bulkier than the V2.0 but that shouldn't be a problem.
I'll be ordering one shortly. :D

Wish my order would ship! I paid quite some time ago and it's still marked unfulfilled :(

What day did you order @duckdown? I ordered 11/25 and was quoted 7-10 days to ship. The wait is killing me also!

Two days after you, November 27th it appears.

He told me it would be shipping soon as he prepared in advance for Black Friday sales.. but sadly zero progress since then..

I also overpaid because I forgot to apply the coupon code, but I messaged him about it and hopefully might get an extra accessory or something

I must say I would buy sapphire again if I had to. I wasn't sure at first, but now that I've tried other concentrates with it I am getting taste I wouldn't get from anything else. The dabs just taste more pure and balanced. Very tempted to order a backup. Already dropped the insert several times like a fool.

I know it looks sexier having the screw for the intake sit flush with the bucket, but I have it screwed in a little more to prevent the insert from falling. No mistakes yet! ;)

I dont think it affects performance either, since im using 535-540 degrees F over here.

Yikes!
How far did it fall, and onto what kind of surface?
Out of the bucket hot, or out of hand cold?

:o

And yes, there is no going back after dabbing on Sapphire.
Some have expressed incredulity regarding it's superiority, but the flavor is so much more nuanced.
But it doesn't make the bad taste good.
I recently picked up some PHO wax that isn't as tasty as what I get from my normal extract company.
I've taken to dabbing that only on the SiC dish.
Same with dabbing reclaim at night for insomia (SiC only).

HAHA, hot and cold on a wood floor about 3ft. I've gotten better at remembering the insert can fall out easily and haven't had an accident in about 5 days. I should just thread the bucket more and deal with the unsexy lil nub of metal.

Hey everyone! I first want to thank the staff here on FuckCombustion and especially all of you loyal CCA Teammates. When I first started CCA never in a million years did I expect the level of loyalty that I have received! So much so that customer doesn't even begin to describe what each and every one of you are; which is why I use the term Teammate! The CCA Team is continually growing and is now getting international awareness; I cannot thank you all enough for that!

The 3.0 gear has been a huge success and is only going to get better from here on out!

For all those who currently have a Flat Coil Liger 3.0, the updated coil shields are finally finished and on the way to me now. As soon as they land I will be getting everyone a new heat/coil shield sent out! The updated shield will be adjustable to fit ANY flat coil thickness from 2.5mm to 9mm (the avg. Flat coil is approx 3.25mm thick). By ensuring your coil is 100% flush with the base of the Flat coil vapor bucket, the efficiency of the Flat Coil Liger 3.0 should be vastly increased!

For all those currently waiting on your order to ship: Please realize that all parts are made to order and it can take up to 1-2 weeks for shipment (I apologize this was not clearly stated on the website, it is now). That being said, I should have all orders shipped out late this week/early next week.

---

Updates on what is in stock:

Sapphire - SOLD OUT (sold out in the first couple of hours) I have more Flat coil & 20mm on the way, should be here this week

SiC - SOLD OUT of 20mm (I have Flat Coil & 16mm SiC on hand) More 20mm should be here in the next 1-2 weeks

Quartz - SOLD OUT (the recent sale depleted my stock) More are on the way and should be here this week

Titanium - Certain items are Back-Ordered (my next batch shipped out today and will be here late this week/early next week)

Storm Cell caps - I will be having more arrive with the next batch of Ti (I expedited the production)

---

For all of you who have experienced delays, I am sincerely grateful for your patience. Orders have more then tripled in the last month and I am doing everything in my power to meet the demand as quickly as possible. With this large of a jump in supply there has been some very challenging speed bumps to navigate over; but I feel confident I have successfully been able to adjust accordingly.

---

Preview into the future for the loyal FC community: I have set my sights on moving all Titanium production in house this coming year. This will allow me to expand my supply while also granting me a more intimate power over the Quality Control of my products. I hold an extremely high standard for my products and want to ensure this standard is continually meet as demand skyrockets.

---

To my Beta team: Thank you!! You have been extremely generous with your feedback and efforts! Your continual dedication will not be forgotten.

For those who would like to join the Beta team (as I get asked quite a bit): I hold a very high standard with who I choose to surround myself with. I have been very lucky to be able to have some very intelligent and competent individuals on my Beta team that bring me an enormous amount of value! If you believe you have value to bring the table then this may just be the job for you! Please note: getting into the team in not an easy task and takes considerable effort, please only consider this an option if you have LOTS of experience with other vaporization gear & preferably have a scientific background.

Great to see you here, Josh.

Excited to hear you talk about bringing your Ti machining in-house. George at DynaVap just did that and seems to have benefited in both quality control and ability to fast prototype and implement design changes.

I'm still enjoying my v2.0 SiC but the 20 mm v3.0 is very enticing.

Best of luck!
