I thought this was the shipping thread? If not can you link me? A search yielded nothing.

I order in one of the M months (March or May). Having kept up with the drama for a while before that, I wasn't really expecting to get it in the estimated ship date of August.....but I can't help hoping. I made it till today without checking. Guess there's still a few weeks for them to get out 6 months worth of orders right? Right??

If there were few enough orders placed from October '15 on, it's possible they'll deliver on those August ship dates. We'll know soon enough! (Well, OK, maybe not soon *enough* for some folks, but soon.)

Wow, that was a nice few hours while it lasted.

USPS got my device to me today, one day early. I enjoyed about 5 or 6 sessions over a few hours. It now sits red, with a slight clicking sound when powered on, never getting warm.

I ordered an extra battery, they sent two. I topped the spares off in my nitecore charger while using the GH.
Same results when trying any battery. I got the charger to make the GH 4 second flash for about 10 minutes or so, but aside from that, it didn't seem to be working from the start. Made sure all contact points inside and out were clean.

OK, I'm not crushed with disappointment any more,

After messing around with it, hoping for a miracle, I noticed a slight gritty sound when turning the top to dial the temp. There must have been a piece of metal shaving or something inside. I turned the top back and forth a few times, and it seemed to work loose.

It sounded smooth after that, and appears to be working fine now.

The leather case that should have shipped with my Ti unit was omitted and every battery that wasn't in a Hopper was taken (17 total) by customs with a notice saying that the batteries were a hazardous shipping item......which is BS.

I know that batteries get shipped from the US to Canada all the time......so if they were confiscated I can only surmise that GHL didn't package them safely or ship through the right channels.

I sent an email to Caroline today and will be waiting for her reply.

Sorry to hear of this disaster. What a letdown after the waiting. Sounds like you at least got the 'operative' parts.

I'd forgotten all about that and should have gotten one with my TI last month.
I'll drop a note to them soon about that.
I did receive one extra battery with my order (of 3 hoppers).
My scorecard so far has one Ti (my dd now) working great, my ss down, one daughter's ss as yet unused, and the other daughter thinking she may not be doing it right. But she's an infrequent combuster with little vaping experience, I think she needs to dial it in a bit more. After recently trying mine, she knows a bit more about expectations!

I see that for the past three days Vapefiend has the GH available. I've been tempted but people are still having problems going through batteries so quick. It seems like there are still issues regarding some flaws that need to be worked out.

I would be curious how many have to send theirs back to get fixed. Is it 50%? I've been watching both threads. If I bought one through Vapefiend I wouldn't want to have to send it back to the UK for warranty.

No, it's important to remember that people are more inclined to report a failure than a fully working vaporizer.

I've had my SS Grasshopper for just over two months. They shipped me a replacement backend at my request. But otherwise the hopper has worked great - I use it daily and love it.

Also note if you buy one from the UK, you will be shipping to Colorado for repairs, not back to the UK

I am honestly surprised the eBay guy isn't selling more. I wonder why that is. I thought that would be sold out real quick. The price is great. Way better than the vaposhop deal.

its probably because they are one of the first ones made-experimental. he did say he was one of the first ones to buy 2013. who knows how many will break down and sent in for warranty

Wrong. That's what I thought as well. He's actually an authorized grasshopper reseller much like vaposhop is. He received this order of grasshopper units within the past 30 days.

hmm I just wanna comment that I am March 2016 with 251xx

newest reported received hopper on reddit was 224xx with Gray Ti

and you are 239xx so less then 2000 units between or a month of Hopper labs production and then little over 1000 units until me in 251xx

so maybe actually 2016 hoppers getting mailed out soon ? ... am I getting a hopper before xmas ?

well the number needs to go down for me to get my hopper, those the only numbers I have so I just go after them, even though they dont mean hopper 1:1 ratio they still are the only ratio hopper labs have given us

so I am just grass....ping at straws here .

Ok I got my eBay grasshopper. That was incredibly fast. I did 2 sessions with it already and I am ripped. I did one regular through the mouthpiece and one through my hydratube. Really incredible device. Fast shipping!
