The mouthpiece has a lot to do with enjoying a vape and I too was a bit put off by the cooling unit on the Roffu before I got it but after using it for some time I have learned to quite like it.:2c:
I have broken 1x glass WPA part but that can have any metal tube shoved in it for a more robust option (a DV stem/revolve etc work great, even the tube the dosing caps come in will work with a stretch).
We are not really supposed to compare vapes in specific vape threads so you may need to read/post here for more detailed comparisons,
The mouthpiece is actually pretty good in terms of keeping it stealthy. I haven't switched the set up back to the glass WPA w silicon. I actually prefer it when going on a walk. It's flatter and wide opening is more conducive to stealth hits while out. Last night while dog walking...me and wife were commenting to each other how awesome the Roffu is in being stealthy. Nobody will have a clue what is in your hand and even while hitting they won't see your mouth on a pipe shape. Your hand will be in front of your face. It's works well. Really well. It makes being stealthy extremely easy.

Ok guys. Thanks for the input. Im now closer to pulling the trigger on roffu. I would like a nice amount of vapor and from what i saw it does produce, probably much more than the fog. Now just thinking if i should even get the WPA.. Not really planning to use it with a bong. Would just get the SS chamber and the little what are they called, the capsules for when im out and about..

Hey guys,

im looking for some dosing capsules, but they are really pricey. Not really much better on aliexpress. Which ones would fit and work well? Maybe i could find something on the cheap that works well..

They are 23€ on the site where i will probably buy the roffu https://www.vapowelt.de/Tragbare-Va...tainer-inkl-Dosierkapseln-5-Stueck::3248.html Way too much imo..
They are the original larger, fully machined jobs and the tube they come in works as a large oven/mouthpiece if you can handle the heat or just like tinkering by adding balls etc. They may be a little taller than the pressed metal jobs we sell now so need the oven disc removed so the cooling unit sits flush. That said, I prefer them even if you need to remove the oven filter disc when using as they hold more herb and are heavier so add more conduction (which I like toward the end of the day to help with sleep).

I think this is definitely a "buy once, cry once" situation.

If you buy ones that end up not fitting, that is not better than paying the $23 for ones that do. If you buy ones that are $5 -$10 cheaper, and they aren't good enough, was it really worth saving a few bucks? If you spend many hours trying to save a few dollars, is that worth your time? It's your call of course, but I've made this mistake many times, and pretty much always regretted it.

Also, what @LesPlenty said is 100% true. I've stuck a screen in the metal tube that holds the official dosing capsules, and use it as a high flow (less draw restriction) stem. I then hold the end to a J-hook or bong and it works as a water pipe adapter. It's not as convenient as the official WPA because you have to hold on to the Roffu with the metal tube, but can just leave it sitting on the bong with the official WPA. I have both so I go back and forth for a someone different experience. I tried using the tube directly as a mouth piece, and it worked fine for a few draws, but then got WAY to hot for my lips before I could finish the bowl.

For all different vapes, it's pretty common to pay $4-$6 or more per capsule, without a tube to house them in. I don't think $23 is out of line with that if you are getting 4-5 capsules and the metal tube. Though I do think all capsules tend to cost more than the need to. Making custom dies are not cheap, so I assume the start up cost is a big part of the final price.

All that said, I almost never use the dosing capsules. But they are great to have when I do want to use them. Mainly I vape at home, but when I've taken the Roffu for a hike, I do prefer capsules over bringing everything with me to load on the go.

Hi All, does anyone know if the Xmax V3 Nano glass mouthpiece will fit the Roffu? My Roffu WPA broke, and a friend has a V3 Nano he will give me.

Would anyone know the circumference of the WPA? I still have the rubber grommet.

Yes it does.....I just tried it. Fits perfectly.

I believe the glass is around 10mm....maybe 9.5mm OD

I am about to pull the plug on the Roffu. I was going to buy the Argo, but the Roffu seems a better choice.
However the "full kit" is Out Of Stock and only the Lite Kit is available.

Does anyone know where else it can be purchased or when it will be back in stock?
Can someone list the differences between the two kits? Their webpage only shows a pic of each kit.
Can the pieces not included in the Lite Kit be purchased separately?
I have asked these questions of the people at XVape but have received not answers.

This is beginning to feel like the Ghost MV-1 situation where when I finally pulled the trigger they were already out of business.

Thanks in advance

Get the lite kit, and get yourself capsules at least 1, and the WPA. If you can get the metal chamber go for it, but capsule and wpa makes it a lot better. Like a lot

If you want to get the funnel they sell it for 1 dollar I think, what else do you need from the complete kit?

Had you call them? There’s an american guy on that line, he should be able to answer you more things. The phone number is in the contact page from their website.

The Lite kit

The complete kit(now rare to find)
016-e1646336932556.jpg

So the lite kit misses out on the following,
-Grinder
-Metal chamber
-Funnel
-Brush with scoop
-2x extra metal filters
-Soft storeage bag
A lot of people already have a grinder so not many wanted to spend the extra for a grinder
they did not need.
As @364F advised, the metal chamber, WPA and funnel are the best upgrades you need for the Lite kit (the WPA/glass mouthpiece is not in either kit)

So the only thing not available is the soft storage bag, I have added the rest (minus the grinder) and placed my order!

In terms of best performance, what does the Roffu prefer?
Fine grind? Coarse grind?
Tight pack? Firm pack? Loose pack?
Loose medium grind has been working best for me. The performance is so much better loose than if you over pack or pack it tight. It can fit about loose 1/4 teaspoon worth of flower. Super easy to fill with the funnel.

I like to sprinkle fill as a rule, you do not even have to fill the oven...you can vape a pinch.
That said, on occasion, I will tamp a full load a little in a capsule to get a longer sesh that will have added conduction towards the end of the bowl.
Also, do not forget to try those lower temps as the Roffu can vape at very low temps compared to some.

Hi all, have made this account just to comment here after years of lurking here and having had a bunch of other vapes, my roffu has just arrived recently and I'm having real issues with it.

I can't get a bowl to vape, newest version glass oven, 200 and 210c - no vapour, have tried short and strong draws like suggested and every other type of draw, as hard as I can and nothing. From what I can gleam there is something to do with o rings in the oven? But also a grommet in the mouthpiece? That could be causing this. I think it is something to do with the mouthpiece as can't seem to pull or blow any air through it even when it's not connected to the device. Have tried changing the grommet for the spare and still doesn't work. Think it is to do with the mouthpiece/cooling unit but could be anything I'm not sure, all i know is, high temp, device getting hot, pulling so hard I'm blue In the face and no vapour.

Any help would be appreciated have been looking forward to this for so long, just doesn't seem to work

I'm not sure what to suggest, other than contacting the company for support. It sounds like you are saying no air is being pulled through when you suck on the mouth piece.

But, I wanted to let you know that, since you mentioned having other vapes, if one them was a Solo or anything with that sized glass tube, you can load it, and use the Roffu's heating element like a car lighter against the end of the tube. Just leave at least 2 or more mm between the herb and the heater. And put the temp to 186c or lower to start. Remove the glass oven piece and entire cooling unit, and just hold the end of the glass tube (stem with bowl) flat around the the heater disk.

I've been using it that way a lot lately, and I like it! Less draw restriction, and all glass path (unless you use a screen) after the air hits the flower.

Welcome and sorry for your troubles...I think we can easily fix. I believe you have the silicone mounted on the black ceramic zirconia cooling spiral incorrectly (I have done this myself...more than once and leads to no airflow). The hole in the silicone needs to be aligned with the hole in the spiral for air flow and do not forget to push down on the oven until you hear an audible click.

I came across this video that may help some new users.
I will add the latest capsules fit better than shown in this video as the OG caps were longer and are better used without the disc filter in the oven and I would not bother with a filter (just use the rubber grommet) above the capsule either...less restriction and less maintenance.
Also note, the newest version Roffu has a snap lock spring retainer for the oven so needs a little more effort to seat as I showed in the video above.

Thank you sooo much. Finally figured it out with the silicone!! Amazing vape so far. One thing, is it normal to hear a slight ticking/mechanical noise from inside while the device is heating up? Thanks so much for your help

Glad it was an easy fix!
As for the ticking, it is quite normal for a lot of vapes, I think it is the PWM switching power on and off to regulate things.

Does anyone know where to source a 10/14mm female connector for use with a whip?

BIG EDIT!! I HAVE READ MORE AND AM REPHRASING MY QUESTION. BELOW IS FOR CONTEXT:
hi all sorry if this post isnt great its my first time using a forum.
i was hoping for help getting a setup similar to what many use with their airizer and crafty vapes with my roffu as it does have some issues drawing vapor upside down in a globe style bubbler. questions i have are

1. should i seek out tubing with a 10mm ID or a 14mm ID
2. where to find this type of tubing on amazon
3. where to find the tools nessecary to attach the whip to my bubbler, and to use a 2nd whip as a mouthpiece.
