Well, in about 45 days we will be getting real close to Black Friday! Arrrggghhh....where is the time going!?

Seems like then would be good timing to launch the POTV XMAX V3 PRO accessory upgrade, no? With a hefty BF discount of course! šŸ˜

And I agree with the earlier poster who mentioned that POTV is a great vape retailer...OUTSTANDING customer service has been my experience with them! That's based on around $700 worth of purchases with them over the past couple years or so!

POTV staff is always immediately available to answer questions and offer advice to enhance one's vaping experience! And let's not forget those POTV FREEBIES! šŸ˜‰

Can't go wrong with POTV is my thinking!

...
Planet of the Vapes has been extraordinary with me. Their customer service is amazing...the website is awesome and the deals are just outstanding. I really love purchasing from them. I trust them. Customer service is really important because I make lots of mistakes when I order and I am always having to correct my stupid mistakes.

After try the official v3pro capsules and comparing them to the fury2 capsules i have to say the official are better.
I think it is because of the top/botton form factor. The fury 2 capsules have a ā€œmetal ringā€ in top and bottomā€¦and maybe it retains heat on it.

Both retain heat but the official one distribute it along the capsule in a better way and seems to have a better airflow, getting an even abv in a easier way and more hits per capsule
Yes, they are better.

Because of the added conduction it's possible to vape dry sift Hash (traditionnal H) sandwiched in layers of weed/avb fully (black, dark avb).
Before there were some parts of the Hash not fully extracted.

For H they work even better/faster in the Xlux Roffu, wich goes a bit higher in temp (both at 220c).

Thats what i saw. I tried to use the capsules with herb+hash and i found i get a long long session (or a lot of on demand hits) and i can get a dark brown (almost black) abv.
I didnt try the roffu but the legacy pro is another device wich works great with hash (and wax). But better with capsā€¦ (hope they release it soon)

Hi, I'm very sorry cause I wasn't very present here since 2 weeks, I was busy cause harvest begun but I was sick also, I want to say sorry, feel free to contact me by pm if you have questions or if you need support, I will take care of you again!
It's just a brush. The marketing is way over the top for that brush, for some reason. Stiffer bristles and a nice handle.
The v3pro is a great little vape
It performs very similar to the hr edge but a slightly "cleaner" taste
I run it 20Ā° hotter than the edge to get the same performance
Easy clean using the hr dosing caps I have
I only use caps and so removed the screen in MP, now it goes straight from cap to airpath and has better airflow and vapour production
Amazing how cool it is with such a short airpath, easily cleaned in the US cleaner (the cooling path inside the mp)
Removable battery and the price tag make this a real winner for me to recommend to people on a budget
Impressive stuff bringing performance at an accessible price to ppl
Vaping should be accessible to everyone to better their health and this is a worthy entry level vape
Well done xmax
Thank your for the feedback, I'm so glad you are happy witg the V3Pro!
Is this for sure? If I could attach my bb9, that would be bad ass.
Yes you can, just use o-rings or teflon tape in order to get a tight fit, enjoy!
I'm sure the new Accessory Attachment will be available separately. Not sure when, as that is dictated by supply. It's available for the ONE, and I see no reason to detour from that route.

@Pukka iirc, the bristles are organic - I think from the Agave plant, but don't quote me on that until I can check my notes. Available by itself, but I don't think in 3-packs.
Agave bristles seems very good for me, a lot better than synthetics...
we hope it will also be available from European dealers

I apologize to the forum moderators and users, he does not let me change the message, I meant we hope that the drip tip kit / with the glass mouthpiece is also available in Europe,
Me too but I don't understand why they did it so large... the POTV mouthpiece increase the size by 2,14cm when compared to the stock mouthpiece and by 3cm when paired with X-Max Attachment base+the Molecule M22 810 glass drip tip... I prefer to keep my stuff as small as possible although the added length provides probably smoother clouds!
I just ordered my EMERALD GREEN XMax V 3 Pro....its beautiful. Got it from VPM.com I was given this info from the manufacturer because they do not sell it directly off their website...
I'm glad you like the new Emerald V3Pro! Yes our website is only for wholesales purposes, it's not intended for direct sales, prefer to order through retailers websites!

I agree but, about the Roffu, I think it's cause the Roffu brings a little more conduction in the game, that's why t works so well with capsules!

Have fun!

Wow I just read/skimmed this whole thread, it was really helpful in convincing me I made the right decision! Thanks to everyone who has contributed šŸ™. My v3pro arrives in a few days, I'm so excited to have my first vape!

I haven't ordered any accessories, so I'm still trying to determine if I want to get anything extra, particularly any mods that will reduce the need for cleaning or improve on microdosing performance. Seems like most folks are using an additional fine mesh screen at the bottom of the oven and maybe also in the mouthpiece? Then I see a couple of you are adding glass spacers or using capsules. I'm wondering if the added thermal mass of spacers/capsules doesn't detract from the "on demand" function by retaining excess heat longer. Is there any drawback to the open air space caused by just partially filling the oven? I'm leaning toward getting some extra screens from 420edc to keep things a little cleaner, though. Any other feedback on this appreciated!

Welcome to FC!

There's absolutely no reason to use a glass spacer here, with it being pure convection on demand, just load as much as you want, as you said, helps to at least fill it fully enough to cover that bottom screen, but yeah I don't understand why anyone would be using a spacer here since it's not session conduction large chamber oven... I still have not tried any capsules with mine, I have the fury edge solid metal style, and I think the basket style? I like the Fury 2 WPA for some glass stem action with mine though

Ok, cool that's what I was thinking but I'm new to vapes lol. 420edc has screens they say are perfectly oversized to make a "dome" shape in the v3. I was thinking of getting these and pressing one down into the oven that would hover a little higher than the existing bottom screen, and then try swapping another one for the stock screen in the mouthpiece. Seems like a simple improvement for the next version of the v3 would be mesh screens all around, no?

Yeah I don't know if there's a reason for it to be a dome, just a flat screen should fit in there well enough, actually didn't put one in mine, but it's not used so heavily (also my very peri one I've only used with the F2 WPA keeping it pristine anyway) Yeah long-term use it's going to be better keeping it clean and smoother vapor for you, but then I think it's a bit more cleaning maintenance too as the screens can clog in the mouthpiece, although that can happen anyway, but you can poke through them... Easier to figure out what works best for you once you have it in hand, but I understand wanting to be prepared, so probably a good idea grabbing screens and capsules then why not

Try dropping a 6mm Quartz Pearl ball in the top of your oven's flower and press in a little. Makes for more even browning of AV and makes the draw smoother. Esp with using with a water bong. It's a hack, i like. Also add 2 thick 1/2 inch wide and wide rubber-bands one below power button and other 1 at the bottom of the battery door. It will give some protection if you drop the unit and hold the b_door better too.

The Samsung 35E 3500mah batteries work for the v3 pro? i bought my v3 pro yesterday and it will arrive soon. It will be my second vape, i have a Starry v3 (my girlfriend have actually xd)
that' what i been using for the last 10 weeks

misinformation on my part. 35a 10amp 18650 battery not 35e.

I found the mesh hr caps were crud and never liked them
I do like and use the solid ones though in the edge and the v3pro
I've always thought a mix of the two would be optimal - solid walls with a mesh top and bottom for the airflow
Using caps only and removing the top screen mine stays very clean, only the MP/airpath needs cleaning

Great vape for the price this one

Thank you for taking the plunge! For micro-dosing you don't need anything else, just throw as little you want in the chamber and vape on! Dosing caps are nice to keep the device clean and for public unload/reload although dosing caps affects performances a little. Feel free to contact me for infos, tips&tricks or support, enjoy!

I understand how a dome shapped screen may be a good addition although I don't see any reason to use it since the V3Pro works so well even with a tiny pinch of resinous flowers, give it a try before to order!

Hmm... the battery will work in the device although the 35E is only a 8A discharge rate, while the Eve stock battery is 10A... This is means your 35E may be hot while in use... and if too hot you'll have a problem... Please sticks only with 10A or more discharge rate batteries, I even tried a poor Samsung 26J (designed for simple conduction based devices without a lot of power demand), it's only 5.2A and it was enough to power on the device although this is don't means it's designed for a such device, so, please, don't use a 35E and look for something stronger!
Yes, not as efficient, use glass/ceramic spacers/screens at your leisure works good for quick micro dosing or bowl reduction. Yeah you can do without, but works better with. :2c:
I'm surprised you said the V3Pro to work better with micro dosing when using a spacer, I personnaly found out this inserts tend to slow down the extraction and keep me away to pull big clouds... But I'll give it another try in order to check I didn't missed anything, thank you for sharing!

Nice to see another user people insert like @Petetbay does... yes I'm probably missing something, I'll give a try to your tricks guys! I noticed your other sentence about the 35E, please look at my reply to @MarlonEsca , it's borderline but not pretty safe to use a 35E imho, please consider another stronger battery (with 10A discharge rate or more!)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the dosing caps, I agree the plain walls caps to works better, I'll transmit your dosing caps idea to the team, mesh based bottom&top lids would disminish the metal mass and this is means less metal to heat-up. Thank you for the kinds words!

The solid walls seem to work better as it creates a tube as if it is just the chamber and the air gets sucked through the weed as usual
Mesh top and bottom will mean both less metal to heat, but also more airflow through the weed and also helping to create the tube affect making the hot air flow over/through the weed

The mesh wall design was useless and air never seemed to go through the weed but around it
Solid walls keep it more like factory bowl

If you remove the top screen in the MP while using dosing caps it will give better airflow and create more vapour, it also makes the vape act more like it does without caps (with improved airflow)
Also less to get clogged up so less frequent cleaning and easier cleaning when necessary

I only have to ever clean the airpath inside the MP now
Easy to remove and clean on its own

i dont know the A diference between the Starry battery and the v3 pro battery...but when i use the 18650 starry battery i get more power/clouds on the v3pro (BIG clouds) meanwhile if i use the 18650 v3pro battery on the starry i get a poor performance. What is the main difference between these batteries @XMAXVAPORIZER ??
I assume the amp draw
The more powerful vapes I own run best on 30a draw batteries
I'm going to try this now, I've only used the factory battery with it - one of my Sony vt6 should make it roar then.....

EDIT
Okay so that rocks
Sony vt6 and the bottom two rows of holes covered and there's no need to cigar/thick shake draw
Just a nice decent strength draw (like my ALP) and blow nice thick clouds
Session was over in 2&1/2 mins on 420f

This vape just got better and truly is the budget priced king atm
It stands it's ground with some overpriced contenders in performance (and the taste is more than acceptable)
Definitely my recommendation of choice for those on a limited budget
True value for money with this performance wow

That is exactly my experience :D from a decent clouds and brown abv to a very good clouds and almost black abv without capsules; in the same way the experience with capsules is better:razz:

Like you say, i think it is about amp draw, but iā€™d want to know the amp of the starry battery

Edit: i dont cover the holes

I only use caps in this or the edge
But I removed the top screen from the MP
This was the first time I blocked any holes and found it helped with not having to go at it so hard (although I do prefer the strong draw vapes that produce clouds)
My avb is lovely brown colour, but not close to black like you say
It's on 420 not 428 though

I've gotta be honest, all this "hi amp battery = better output" talk has me smiling large. I always thought Rule 47 stated that you sacrifice mAh for Amps. Meaning using a Molicel P28 instead of the pink cell (which is a decent cell itself, ~3k mAh, ~15A) and giving up maybe a 1/2 a session for a much more pleasurable time otherwise.
