4x6 min sessions back to back on max temp and all I got was some whispy puffs now and again and hot lips!

So as far as concentrates go I recommend just about anything else...that is not convection-heavy.

That gradient model looks very classy. Again, super can't wait for glass tops to play around with. The V3 Pro is such a great vape I can't wait to "take it to the next level".

@PPN I think the xmax people are confused. Nobody is going to force you to use the higher levels. That said, I can give two scenarios where more power would be essential:

-Some flower is dry or otherwise "doesn't vape right" because the hot air doesn't have water in the herb to aid in heat soaking the material. I have strains like this that require more roasting to extract from.

-It's not yet full winter and I can tell the V3 Pro is disadvantaged sucking in cold air. Would be nice to crank the temp up outdoors on a cold day.

I think also CBD strains like a higher temp. I'm willing to back off the temperature a bit to get things right, because like I said I'm always running at 220C and don't feel like I'm anywhere close to scorching no matter what I do.

Don't take this as me ripping on the device, just trying to explain. As said before, it's my hands down favorite device right now, and I've come to rely on it.

Where is the mesh? (I use that mesh on the mp to reduce the cleaning)
I tried It with hash, and seems like the concentrate cap needs some holes or something like that to get vapor. Tasty hits with no vapor
(But if i do the "Sandwich" i can do a 10 min session with hash)

I will transmit your wish to see a larger bowl also this sort of modification involves a lot of modifications of all the rest (heater size, battery power,...)... maybe for the next unit. For the glass adapter... we just released the new magnetic wpa, look at the top of that post! Although it's good to know the silicone adapter get stinky pretty fast... a good reason to jump on the new magnetic wpa if you are hooking your V3Pro to a bubbler on a regular basis!

Probably my mistake, in my mind the "pen vaporizer" label was right for the V3Pro since it was used for others vaporizers like the Focus vape pen, V2Pro or GrassHopper. I don't know what others members are thinking about that "pen" label? if you think it's inappropried I will ask to the Mods to change it...

Yes I was a bit late for FC but just posted about that amazing Glass attachments. I received mines yesterday along with my new Silver gradient unit, the one I like the best is the glass mouthpiece, it really brings the taste on another level but it's slightly less smooth cause a stainless steel vaporcooler replace the ceramic vapor cooler, not the same shape also. The glass stem is removeable so you can clean it or replace if broken, same thing concerning the wpa.

Ok, we really need to consider your wish, do you want hotter max temp for strict flower usage or for concentrates? We are afraid the flowers taste to be bad adding 10°C, the V3Pro already extract to dark brown abv!

Tough to compare, Glow out of the box kanthal wire does not have any temp control, so you are more limited with wattage, honestly feels more like an unregulated experience to me... I feel like the glow could probably give you a stronger vapor signature as a result, riding that line, but it is far easier to use the V3pro especially through water with the temp regulation even though it has a lower max temp (and F2 wpa means you can still use a glass stem as path and chamber just like the Glow-- @bossman I'd suggest grabbing one of these too if you can, for 18 mm use, but I also recommend getting a 18 male to 14 female drop-down adapter for your gooroo) So yeah that is the biggest performance difference, both devices are very capable, comes down to more unregulated versus regulated style experience, all in one versus atomizer plus mod plus stems etc, more to tinker with Glow, and the wood too all around it is an artisan piece... Whereas xmax v3pro is more clearly the mass produced electronic device so honestly they're not really similar at all to compare, you have to decide what you are looking for, what is more appealing to you.

The less metal in the air path the better (that reminds me I have to swap the mouthpiece metal filter for the ceramic job that came with the Ace) and the V3 does not get hot enough to cause splashes to make a mess!

The Ace ceramic filter fits like it was made for the V3. It adds a bit of restriction compared to my mesh weave hack and probably a little more than standard so might be good for peeps wanting that...I don't so I will probably swap back...eventually,

I‘ve been fine tuning my air intake mod using ecig tank protector band, 2 inlet lines open on one side the other 3 lines that I feathering with my thumb. Did a kief/herb sandwich last nite and hash/herb one today starting at 365F and ramping to 428F and it was honking, felt like a 8inch Dynavap feathering the air intake with thumb pressure, very nice.

ABV on the right (starting material to the left) started as a cold bowl, set temp to MAX temp for a full 6-minute sesh and left to cook with no puffs sitting in an upright position...looks like a little conduction is happening...no real surprise as heat rises.

Not really a hybrid, the V3 is much more convection-biased than my F2...just the heat rises after a while.

Yes, true, legit, I didn’t buy mine here, I paid less somewhere else in Canada, this is a place that ships to US where I am not located, how long it takes is for you to find out, they say 1 to 5 days, but that depends on shipping method which variable depending what you want to pay.
