Got out of work early today and knew my new stem was waiting for me in the mailbox at home so I figured ‘new stem, new flower’ and stopped off to pick up some Brownie Scout (Rythm). Smells a little different than last time but still a pretty good choice!

Tropicana Cookies, home grown autoflower, is one of 8 strains in my current blend. It's very good on it's own but it can't compare with the blend. The other 7 strains in the blend were collected over time from local dispensaries.

Have two more mystery AFs within 2-4 weeks of harvest. Fastbuds gave me 5 mystery AF seeds. Like the first plant, these two plants are only 2' tall, but the buds look and smell great. I hope they each make at least 1.5 ozs like the first one. I have no idea what strains they are but they smell great, very different from each other.

One obvious lesson I've learned with these two is that not every plant can handle a 110° heat index. My first AF seemed to love the heat, although the buds look a little roasted after curing. All of the fan leaves on the current two mystery plants have yellowed, but the buds seem happy. I've checked everything. I'm thinking it's plain old heat stress. These AFs might turn out better if I provided partial shade in the afternoons. It would still be hot, but not as damaging as without shade. Have some more seeds. Next year I'll hit it hard in early spring.

Harvested my 2nd & 3rd (back porch) AFs earlier than planned, on days 70 and 65. I should have realized that the direct sunlight was too intense, especially when the heat advisory turned into a heat warning. The smell was incredible until the buds got cooked and the leaves started dying. They're still pretty darn good, very sticky, just not as smelly as they should be. Will try again next year with partial shade part of the day.

These were two mystery seeds provided by Fastbuds. However I'm guessing the bud shown below is watermelon zittles based on the wild smell. It reminds me of some crazy candy I got for Halloween 50+ years ago.

They're hanging in the storm shelter. Maybe an ounce each?? I tried trimming before hanging.

My #1 strain still months in with this batch & over the last couple years with a few batches, Super Lemon Haze is a strong sativa that brings me the biggest cerebral & physical stimulation along with the best euphoria f/x as well 😍

Can't recommend this strain enough!

The second low temp session / draw 2.5 hrs later almost put me out :freak:, I got very tired (too much THC), even started yawning. I recovered quick & it's been a great ride since :science: . . So much so, I'm enjoying a small added bowl of SLH atm :luv:

Have a great night & weekend!

:peace: :leaf:

Great to see you growing your own outside. How it should be. I have a headband photoperiod strain going. Hoping it will finish fine here in MA. It’s been 30 year since I’ve grown herb. I dream of getting a light and gifting exotic sativas. Maybe one day. How do your auto flowers compare with dispensary herb?

The first one was pretty good. Not yet sure about these last two. I'm not expecting great weed, just hope it's useable. In hindsight I made an idiot mistake. Next year I'll make sure the strains are recommended for hot conditions, and will use shade liberally. These plants are small. Thinking about easy designs for a small shade structure. The goal will be maximum flavor instead of maximum sunshine.

Dipping into this giant 3.5g nug of Clade9's "J1" Sativa (also known as Jack 1) ... it's a cross between Skunk #1 and Jack Herer. Delicious and Potent, it's spicy during the inhale but the exhale turns out to be very sweet ... loving it and will be enjoying into the new year from time to time .... a second Clade9 strain gets added to my top shelf :spliff:

What's in my Vapes? This is how a day of "constant microdosing";) could look like.

Most of the day I medicate with White Widow (16-18% THC, <1% CBD) in a Vapman (OG Classic Pear) with a long glass mouthpiece on the heating station. 20-30 mg per Dose with up to 10 soft hits each. It elevates me and helps against pain and nausea. I'm super happy with the effects. The often not so good taste of this strain tells me that it is medicine and not candy. The last batch just smelled like hay. This one has a nice calming lemon flavor to it. I use 200-300 mg.

Towards the late afternoon, to mix things up a bit, I use a strain called Casey Jones (16-17% THC, <1% CBD) in my Vaponic which I have connected to a pipe. Up to 10 medium-sized clouds (+1 tasty hit and +1 to clean up) per 50 mg Dose. Honestly, I'm not super happy with this strain, its effects and flavor. It tastes good with the Vaponic but not in the Vapman. The buds smell great though, a bit like carrot juice. The effect is quite strong for a THC content that low; however easy to handle. For me it is not uplifting enough. I'd use 100-200 mg in total.

Later, when I wanna get loaded, I grab a glass of Jealousy with 28% THC. Time to get back to the Vapman. This strain has a high density so I can put up to 35 mg in the Vapman (incl. microdosing sieve) and up to 15 hits out of it; some are really strong. Again, not a big fan of the taste of this strain. At least of this batch. I remembered it differently, and actually I wanted something else. The effect would be great for some interaction. It wakes me up like coffee but I'm also quite high. This should have been my go-to-bed-strain but that doesn't work, at all. ~300 mg.

So I need to take a look in the next jar, where we have some Hindu Kush. A classic indica with around 20% THC. Actually I wanted to find something else as a bedtime strain, but this is still unbeaten in this regard for me. This strain is very spicy, actually too spicy in the upper throat. Not bad, but you have to get used to it. It gives my body a clear signal to shut down soon without getting me extra high or stoned. Also great against muscle pain. Maybe my Fenix Mini (like LOTV One) with WPA comes into play to have as little work as possible and to get some strong milky nighty-night clouds in the bong. 50-100 mg.

By mostly using the Vapman with the micro-dosing sieve I could vape the whole day and use up less than a gram on such a day. But as you see, I'm not happy with the taste of most of my strains at the moment. I found out that I often like strains where Beta-Caryophyllene is a dominant terpene. But flavor is a complex topic... My favorite strains last year were La Bomba, Mimosa and Berry Haze, but those are not available. Next round I'll keep the White Widow but replace the Casey Jones and the Jealousy in my order. And yeah, sometime I will add photos, too. 😋

I'm afraid I didn't label this beauty very well so have little idea what she is. Which is a bummer as I would run again.
Outdoor auto flower after 6 weeks cure.
Still a touch of green taste but then the sweet candy flavours come through. Another 4 weeks and she will be solid.

My 3rd autoflower turned out fine even though I heat stressed it. It probably should have been better, but it's sweeter and stickier than it looks. There's no obvious difference between it and a photosensitive bud that I can see. I'm guessing it's Fastbuds watermelon zittles based on the crazy aroma.

The first two plants looked good, and they worked okay, but the heat must have killed all the flavor. Disappointing, but no big deal considering my long term objectives.

Of September's cannabis club choices, I came home with sticky Suguz (50-50 hybrid) and beautiful bud Mimosa (70 sativa-30).
Enjoying a pleasant Spring Sunday by the rio de la plata.

I might be the only oddball that always vapes a blend of whatever fine strains I find. I grew up on the full spectrum of northern hemisphere sativas, that must have influenced what I prefer today. Can't explain it so that it makes sense, all I will say is that it doesn't cost anymore, the effect is more intense and consistent, plus, nursing a blend provides a sort of supply continuity. Besides blending 8+ strains, I've also started grinding it to a very fine consistency. Doubt you can tell from the photo, my CH Fine Grinder does a great job, but the little $10 rechargable LTQ Vapor will grind whole buds twice as fine in no time for an even more flavorful hit. I had to turn down the temp in my Walnut HI, otherwise it ignites too easily, but it's really interesting to see all the "little white flavor crystals" that come outta nowhere.

First post in this thread and have been stimulated to do so as feel this is the best I've ever had in the UK. I'm also old and been around a bit! Organically grown 2StrokeJosh is Biker OG X Larry OG X Hells OG X Josh OG.

Piney, earthy and perfect, heavy indica hybrid and divine. No flash required here!

Incredible cure and taste. Exceptional effects.
