Just checking in to see how many new faces got melted, A few i see! I am so settled with the Verdamper i rarely visit anymore which says it all really. But noticed an issue.

The inside is browning up, Would it be safe to dip the tip in iso and dry off? I know on the herbo element that would he OK but is the material used in the verdamper coil safe with iso? If it is i messed up i should of been doing fequent dips to avoid brown buildup.

So I'm guessing you mean the actual metal coil is browning? I never observed that myself, but I've never personally liked the idea of inserting any part of a metal heater into ISO unless non elctrical like the Supreme vaporizers or Vapcaps.

Unless you mean the glass housing is browning.

Maybe you could use Iso wipes or engineer a poker and ISO on cotton or tissue window cleaning style?

I would not want to bathe the entire heater in anything liquid fullstop.

And I figured too, Rodders is surely (hopefully anyway) trotting on across the water.

Just, now cured of VAS and no dopamine deficiency to supplement with extra dopamine hits from adictive social media lol, the Verdamper just gives you what you need.

Can you show us a photo possibly?

These are pretty tough to access outside of Europe it seems, most shops do not ship to the USA or Canada in my case. I asked Verdampftnochmal and they said they'd be shipping internationally again very soon and would let me know. Damn you VAS. Evert would ship to me directly but the price is higher for the Deluxe kit so I'll hold out for Verdampftnochmal. I could probably just grab the heater and a male bowl but something about that massive bong is calling to me . Has availability kept these under the radar? Or size and/or price? I rarely hear them brought up and they seem like absolute monters.

The only real reason not a million more Verdampers are out there wild, is because Christopher Columbus simply sailed right past the island so long ago, the maps were drawn up, the modern vape producers grew into the Trustpilot world.

As someone with a Verdamper Luxe, a Verdamper Reiziger and different assorted glass I‘d say either option is fine.

The large diameter downstem of the original glass and the negative pressure it creates obviously have an impact on extraction. I must admit though, that it‘s not as significant as I thought in my honeymoon phase with the verdamper.

The original Verdamper glass also has a minor flaw for me: I really wish the downstem had some kind of diffusor or percolator since the chugging can be quite loud.

So much, that I nowadays mostly use my Mobius Matrix copy with a glass adapter (29/32 to 19/26) as bowl and the Verdamper heater. The large glass gets pulled out on weekends or when friends are over, as it still is a very fun ritual to use his monster - don‘t get me wrong.

I also use the Verdamper heating element in combination with a different power supply at 14V and 5 ampere - this results in the more sleepy effect that I am looking for personally.

So in conclusion I‘d say if you appreciate unique glass and want the full Verdamper Experience go for the whole set, if you just want a brutal heavy hitting desktop device (on par with the glass symphony and at 14V even comparable to the Supreme) you‘d be fine with a heating element, power supply and glass of your choice.

I hope they still make Verdampers in Back to the Future 11, there's no way it's an option for me to use it short of miracle or reincarnation, but it's on my Bucket List, despite already having been there and done that, and my own Bucket list is not at all limited to this life either, although the whole concept and really definition of a bucket list is based on mortality and the notion of limited time.

I'm more interested personally in the infinite than the temporary, a pretty shitty temporary too lol, in comparison- I hope.

I asked Verdampftnochmal a little while ago and they had planned on resuming shipping to Canada and said they would contact me but I haven't heard back. Nothing has changed on their site as of a few days ago, I can't select Canada (or the USA) when I add it to my cart. I'm not sure about shipping to the USA so it wouldn't hurt to ask.

You can also contact Verdamper directly through their website and they may ship to the USA. The pricing was higher for a full package when I asked so I had planned to wait on Verdampftnochmal.

well not to long ago they shipped a verdamper to 420vapezone from verdampftnochmal. I know this because they made an episode about it.
Maybe contact Troy on his discord or something. and ask how he worked that out. I know there was some "shipping vaporizers" ban in the usa a while back. but I am not sure what the situation is on that.

I'd prefer a US electrical unit just for simplicity but that's not a big deal. Until there is a reasonable path to buying one, I'll hold off. I like the Herborizer so i hope I would like this one too.

I think you can just use a world plug that travelers use. but i just told you that 420vapezone had a verdamper delivered like a month ago so i think some deliveries still pass through the cracks.

If you have a Vapbong it shares the same plug of the Verdamper. I bought exclusively the Verdamper heater and I plug it with Vapbong’s AC adapter. That is just and example of a compatible adapter, here is Vapbong’s page of it, but you can find it elsewhere too. Just google for JDT-001 (with US plug of course).

You can ask the maker, I don’t see why he wouldn’t ship to the US, he will be glad to sell a complete set, not so much if you make it clear you only need the heater and it’s not a replacement, as I did. xD
You can also ask shop.vivasativa.at to inquire if they ship to the US. They store Verdampers and spare parts.

Being able to hang out in a coffee shop and vape looks incredibly cool. What's it like with Covid? How are they making this work? I hope that soon we are all safe and sound. I'd love to vape on a Verdamper at a coffee shop with outstanding cannabis!!!

Afaik they are still taking it very easy with COVID in the Nederlands. Masks inside shops are still not mandatory so if you are fine with that it’s business as usual for coffeeshops.

Currently to go to a coffeeshop you need a QR code, unless it is a "take-out only" coffeeshop, then you can just walk in. You probably need to wear a mask. though.

Something died on mine. I managed to kill something after 1yr 6 month which is pretty much coffee shop usage ON time. I use it a lot but yea i suspect the transformer because i can hold the heating element and there is barely any heat. Like my Herborizer XL same problem and turned out to be the power supplys.


At this rate it aint gonna work out. Instead of sending both parts back to Vaposhop i just ordered another heater and transformer so i can diagnose myself which is the two parts is dead. But not nice having to surprise pay €202 Euro and €28 shipping from Berlin shop to UK? €28 it took 3 days if anyone is interested in the time.


Vaposhop are great for handling It, Superb shop and they have codes on here but sadly i could not reorder from them. They seem to have delisted the Verdamper from sale. I hope they sell it again as it looks like i will need lots of transformers.

I haven't seen the De Verdamper power supply in person but from the pictures they look like a cheaply produced unit you could find on Aliexpress. If the amperage rating is ok (that design is 2A) you could buy another and salvage the wood base maybe? If you can remove the old glued on power supply without destroying the base that is.

Just a few notes after lurking in this thread for ages:

I run my Verdamper with a random 3V-12V 5A VPS from Amazon (after I broke the knob on my og one...dont stash away stuff while high) and having one with a voltage display really helps with tuning the temp to my liking. I still use the wooden stand ofc, that thing is pretty much worth the money when you get the stock VPS - or you could absolutely DIY one.

Also, in case you're thinking about using the Verdamper with balls: You could just pour a bunch of 6mm boro balls on top, but - and I cant stress this enough - only do this if you are absolutely sure you wont do stupid shit with it while high. We're talking about very hot balls with no security whatsoever if you cant keep it upright.
6mm is big enough so only 3-4 balls go a few centimeters down in the middle tube with the coil, the rest just stays/floats on top. I also removed my silicone ring because I figured keeping a bunch of hot balls up in there wouldnt do it any good from the extra heat and I store the heater in bubblewrap anyway. I dont fill it up completely with balls, its just 2-3 layers of them.

The main differences: You can turn down the heater (with balls I start at 10.5V and go up to 11.5V, at 12V you are immediately scorching even a small .2g load) and the time-to-vapor is WAY faster, you dont need like 2-3 pulls to get it started like you would need without the balls.

The insulated leads on the outside are actually all below the balls and with the silicone ring gone they are probably colder than in the stock Verdamper, where the silicone presses them right against the tube.
Since all the heat comes from the glass tube and the coil below the balls, I doubt the top reaches a higher temp than on stock, since with the silicone being gone it can now dissipate heat in all directions.
In my mind its just a way to store the heat that would normally be lost by exiting on top for a little while longer and releasing that to kick-start the vapor production on inhale, but I'd probably need a stock and modded Verdamper with a IR-Heatgun to make serious comparisons

3v-12v 2a or 5a is what i wrote down for the vps. But i got an official replacement just this once.

I was right in that it was only the VPS transformer. It is not working correct as soon as i swapped them the heater went from being warm to untouchably hot. Thats how it should be.
