I bought a venty 2nd hand on ent exchange. Found out after getting an e-04 that the device is registered already. They won't help me out because I can't get a hold of the original owner to release the item from being registered. Can anyone help me out and fix the device?

Troy and Jerry say there is no need to grind your herb for the Venty. Is this an effective way to use it?

I have done it and it works, but I still prefer to grind. I tend to have a small amount of different strains pre-ground and ready to go in any device.

With the whole nug method, I found that it helped to give the bud a little finger push after 2-3 hits, it will generally crumble and expose more surface area, like ground bud. And yeah, I was VERY careful doing that 😁

I just got my new venty. Its the third one. Both others had error 4.
This one the haptic feels more rough in the hands. Comparing the old cu and the new cu. The old one feels more smooth. It can’t be, that it is just more used, or?
The powerbutton feels different i guess :)
And the cu is straight aligned with the main part :)

A vape that's capable of doing so extremely well is the Supreme, which has a lot of conduction going on, other than convection. The Venty doesn't have a lot of conduction, it may work but imho it's not at all the trademark of the vape or the way it should be used

Sorry for the late reply. I'm sure there was an Australian user on Reddit who had no option for RMA because of crazy vape laws, and ended up opening up their Venty and coming up with a fix.

I've just had a quick search but can't seem to find the post. Maybe somebody over on Reddit can point you in the right direction.

I could potentially sell you one if you just wanted to throw money at the ultimate fix.

Still has 6 months of the warranty left on it too, and I would help transfer the registration!

Any USB-C PD power supply will work. As long as it supplies at least 20-25W, you're good. Laptop charger definitely has enough power.

I immensely appreciate you for this insight! Every charger I own takes over 2 hours to charge my Venty. For some reason, I never thought of using my PD /GaN 128W cheapy Amazon charger I use when I travel, but damn, 1 hour and 10 min from empty Venty to full Venty now! Thanks!!
