Venty by Storz & Bickel

Damn. Thanks for the replies guys.

I've always used the filling aid with my Mighty, but after nearly 10 years the mighty is starting to die and S&B want to overcharge me for a trade in, so I've been thinking about buying a new Venty. Vapefiend are offering a bundle with the charger and a case for 330, but I guess I'll look for other cases instead, thanks.

By filling tool I assume you mean the little round orange thingie that looks like a holder for 8 capsules? In that case, no, definitely not. The Venty case looks like it might fit, but things are much tighter inside. There is a little loop for the S&B brush and I have a baggie of screens underneath the Venty, but that's it.

Mine fits. You need to put the dosing capsule magazine at the bottom of the Venty, where the buttons are.

Whoa, you're right. Well, technically. It is a very tight squeeze, and I'm not sure the buttons will like that over the long run. Also, I wouldn't want to expose the zipper to that kind of stress in regular use. @bardad appears to have some experience with the zipper, and I wouldn't want to stress it more than necessary.

hi
I don't recommend the venty case...
the zipper broke very quickly.
otherwise it's not bad in shape, but you can find better ones....
Mine also broke pretty quickly. I switched to the vaphit case from VGoodiEZ. Plant of room for extras.

Has anyone found a Venty jacket (kept on while using) available in the US? Haven't dropped mine, but I'd rather be cautious.

After spending a couple of days with the Venty, I think it's great and IMHO a definite improvement over my OG Mighty.
Love the fast heat up time and open airflow and it's much more comfortable to hold.
I first tried temp stepping, stretching out the session and this produced avb similar shade to my Mighty, but irritated my throat a bit towards the end and made me cough quite a bit.
I've since found I prefer to kill the bowl at max temp in 2-3 decent hits with a fourth being whispy and the resulting avb looks slightly lighter.
Using it this way and finishing the bowl before the CU gets heatsoaked, this is the first portable vape I've used where I can finish a bowl with little to no coughing.
I usually use a bubbler to filter the vapour through water, but so far I'm finding I don't need to with the Venty.
The only change I've made was to swap the coarse screen on the CU for a fine one as I did the same to the Mighty to keep most of the small particles out.

I have officially budgeted and sezzled a Venty on sale from a retail vendor that specializes in selling vaporizers. I took a chance and was worried I'd get an old batch, not sure if it's old as there is no firmware update on the web app for it after I figured out how to connect was having issues, some bluetooth devices are janky, however I think it could've been some security measure as I failed to pair somehow a few sometimes who knows?

moving on, I must say flavor is insane for the Venty, prior to my experience I've had a volcano classic experience (didn't own it, was at a friend of a friend's house who owned it) enjoyed the volcano vapor bag experience got me baked hard and didn't even consume the whole bag, that was like over 10+ years ago ? maybe.

Also had a crappy smokeshop snoop dogg vape that was basically combusting halfway through and tasted like trash, almost set me off from never vaping, shame on snoop for licensing his name on garbage fake products.

Anyways managed another trash purchase a no name box whip style vape, took forever to get vapor going had to turn temp up 420f ( temp was inaccurate), abv came out yellow but smacked hard due to bowl size. ended up quitting like 3 or 4 years after that to focus on getting healthy due to being a fat ass young college aged student eating unhealthy amounts of pizza and hitting 1 gram whips destroying my tolerance.

After quitting (long ass t break) wanted to get back into cannabis after I got healthy for pain management didn't like popping tylenol codeines everyday (eww)

Ended up with the artsy fartsy MFLB vape, but damn was it awesome at micro dosing and flavorwas good for this weird overly priced workshop vape that used a crazy nihm battery that had shifty battery life... sigh ended up gifting away to a friend after I manage to buy a fury 2 vape wanted the potv one but was sold out.

fury 2 brought back healthier consumption for me, fast forward a bit, I bought fury edge v2 due to bigger bowl longer battery life, and lost my fury 2 (or someone stole it or was left at a park). I always seen the s&b mighty and wanted one but was too expensive.

I envied others even YouTubers who owned one, lol ended up talking to a fellow cannabis patient / streamer about healthier consumption methods and they said what was the best dry herb vape on the market (pre-venty days) and at the time mighty+ just dropped and I told them about it but told them it's super pricey but it is the #1 for flavor, smoothness, cannabinoid extraction, and safety!!!!

they bought one on credit and later was vaping with no technique learning, blowing flavorful clouds they even said they don't have to smoke joints anymore that the mighty+ is helping them quit smoking, and they love their mighty+ they take it on hikes and trips, they said they accidentally dropped it but it still works!!!!! nobody knows what device it is unless they are fellow patients ;) they have vitality and their medical needs are met!!!

Anyways fast forward to a few years ago, I was looking again for the next best thing maybe budget ended up seeing the mighty+ go on sale and itching to buy it but was worrisome, ended up buying a fury rogue 2, mind you it has served me, however smoothness needs like better cooling and when I had baller stem it fell and broke, rip smoothness, so I finally couldn't take it anymore this year I wanted a Mighty+ or the new Venty.

Back and forth with reviews and even scared of the e04 error heard from reports S&B fixed issue via hardware and firmware and spotted a venty on sale, however it's close to $400 after taxes even lol after the 20% discount. I finally used sezzle (split payments) and shot in the dark and prayed and finally received my venty and out of the box had to charge it was on one bar. however charged fast and had issues with bluetooth connecting to web app but finally figured it out sort of... enabled "90% charge limit" and lowered lcd brightness and adjusted set temp and turned to F.

I started to vape at 338f and was blown away by the flavor I never experienced on my other vapes and wow after vapor dwindled after so many vape hits, I boosted up to 365f and was blown away by more flavorful unlocked!?!?

and my airflow was set to max, It felt like I was breathing in natural air so smooth and ghost like, I was amazed by how much vapor that the venty extracted without harshness it was magically insane, it's like better than the volcano classic bags if that makes sense?

I also registered my device for the 3 year warranty.

This device is worth saving up or getting it on credit, this is end game for a portable, pocketable , high quality flavorful vape.

I forgot, I am using airflow setting #2 and 182°c (360°f) + 8°c (14°f) (190°c) (374°f) + 8°c (14°f)(199°c) (390°f) for my temp stepping works great on 70/30 Indica dominants.

less confusing: Perfect Venty Hybrid workflow:
Airflow #2
360°f (182°c) > 374°f (190°c) > 390°f (199°c)

It's amazing, don't forget to drink water!

I am so 🍳, 360f is a good starter temp(pinene, limonene, myrcene). mid temp 374f opens up more cannabinoids and heavier flavors (more thc, cbg, cbc, cbd, cbn), 390f gives extra cannabinoids and sedative terps. (bunch of cannabinoids and over 88% thc!!!)

Update: I decided to take apart the CU (Cooling Unit) for examination and cleaning. to my surprise tons of resinous scooby snacks, this engineered cooling unit not only cooled my mid to high temp vapors it also prevented a bunch super heated plant material from hitting my lungs!!! (I'm asthmatic, I still take my asthma meds), Storz and Bickel are truly medical + connoisseur products. I used to get sore lungs if I vaped to my limitations for medicial reasons with my other portables, I had to settle on lower temps and deal with supbar cannabinoid extraction. I am not bashing anyone, however I did still get decent cannabinoids at the cost of comfort, I had to deal with taking longer breaks while dealing with not getting full relief, I had to sandwich concentrate on my flower with the other vapes.

This Venty cut my usage down, I no longer have to consume insane amounts of flower. I can feel every cannabinoid and actually taste the sensitive terps I lost with other vape, using the same batch of flower that has roughly 26% thc and over 28% total cannabinoids (purchased from a licensed dispensary) flower has been tested, Yet with my other non s&b portable the flavor was mid despite getting massive clouds. With Venty I get this balance of terp profile, while getting a nice mix of cannabinoids, I feel satisfied medically that I ended up using less meds thanks to the Venty.

I even played with temps again.
Seems like a nice balanced hybrid works good at...
(check the cu, notice there is a upside down U that's closed position, turn the (orange knob) cu control right slowly, notice you hit that [ ] first line gap, now keep turning right slowly now you will see two line gaps, I want you to turn it to the first Line gap so uhhh == [ ] | [x] the x is for selection. if you line up the black line to the first 2 line gap. that is a half airflow based on removing bottom of cue and examining the line up.

for some reason at half airflow terps balance out more while still getting excellent cannabinoids, I am noticing nuisances in my own herb batch.

As for temps I am using 338°f » 363°f » 383°f
basically based temp: 338°f (170°c)
boost #1: 25°f (14°c)
boost #2: 20°f (11°c)

Added Celsius for people that love Celsius (it's awesome).

Basically take nice upper medium length (7 seconds) inhales, till vapor declines, then x2 for first boost to 363°f (184°c), do 5s (medium length) inhales till vapor declines, boost to 383°f (195°c) and do light inhales (3s inhales) till vapor declines. When done, dump abv contents in a container or yogurt, or discard if you don't like abv edibles or you don't save the duff.

Update: redefined temp step instructions...

Workflow
:
Load medium fluffy grounded high quality cannabis, roughly 0.25g, you can use 0.20g if you like it still works excellent!!!

Base Load:
0.25g
(250 mg of dry quality cannabis)

Base Temp:
338f (170c)

CU Airflow:
First notch [ ] | [X] in second airflow setting.

- inhalation instructions -
Base Temp (338f (170c)):
5s inhale slowly each till vapor declines.

Temp #2 (boosted - 363.2f (184c) ):
4s inhale slowly each till vapor declines.

Temp #3 (superboosted - 383f (195c) ):
3s inhale slowly each till vapor declines.

I manage to get roughly 4 minute session with some sativa dominant bud. I didn't count how many hits per step due to wide variances in flower, I just knew when to boost when vapor declines boost, also make sure to enable 'permanent boost' really helps, some flower is super resinous and lasts awhile.

Sometimes my sessions can be longer or shorter, if I load 0.20g it's gonna be short. if I load 0.25g could be longer again each batch is different, some drier and some moister, some indoor quality, some outdoor quality, greenhouse/light deps etc, sometimes farm has a bad role at genetics basically the mother plant got sick and produced garbage clones or offspring? various cannabinoid levels of minor and major.

too much to go over. The Venty is true to temp vaping it feels like a better version of volcano classic in your hands like I never had a volcan hybrid yet, but have tried volcano classic, this beats the classic in terms of vapor quality, however volcano has larger bowl going for it.

Someday I wish to own a storz and bickel volcano hybrid.
For now the Venty satisifies my needs even beats some cheap desktops, however as for a ball vape, well obviously this isn't a portable ball vape, but don't let that pursuade you away from this excellent hybrid portable, it really sets the standards!

The cooling unit was easy to clean, only thing is the screens are gonna get damaged if you handle them rough they are dinky but in a good way, it doesn't retain tons of heat after vaping, however the peek retains some residual conductive heat, other than that I brushed the screens didn't even need to use alcohol, Yes I wiped out the resin off the peek cu inside using a clean wash cloth and brushed out some scooby snacks that were temping to eat as an edible, however I skipped that because I needed to do tasks today, can't be stoned and driving (drive sober n safe).

Anyways I do regret not saving the cu resin that looked heavy hitting. amberish resinous cannabinoids.

Next time I'll gather some and save and try in evening.
Anyways the CU was cleaned manually after 1.5 recharges (I didn't clean when I had to recharge till half way through due to noticing a heavier taste).
