Tell me about it dude. I tell myself I’ve ‘cured’ my VAS ordering a wand and the preorder tempest / reload combo. I already have a vong & armoured cap, I’ll have my conduction-convection duo.yep, emptied my wallet again, just like last month, and the 1 before....
That’ll be all I need… oh and I’ll probably get a TA head, cause it’s a bigger bowl to use through glass. Might as well get the flare if I’m getting the TA. If I’m getting the flare, may as well look at fusion… and on and on it goes

I feel like having multiple devices is only natural, I started with a cheap battery portable (fog pro) and fell in love with vaping after the very first session, I just couldn't believe how high I was with so little herb and on top of that vastly superior flavor compared to smoking.
After that I wanted a desktop device as to not wear down my portable as fast, got an XQ2 and at first I didn't like it, but after learning to use my mind was blown away again, this thing slapped hard.
Then I realized that I loved vaping so much I didn't want to go back to smoke even in case of emergency so I bought a Dynavap M7XL in case I ever find myself with no access to electricity haha, got a very nice 4/20 offer with an induction heater and again after some learning and accidental combustions I started to love the device.
Then I wanted a portable that could handle traditional hash, my fog pro can't, and the dynavap isn't very portable with the IH (mine is bigger than 3 fog pros together) and the torch is too blatant for an illegal country. I did some research and opted for an starry4, works fine for what I wanted (hash on the go) but flavor is quite lacking when compared to the M7 and the xq2.
Now I find myself wanting a high end portable, something capable of vaping herb and hash to the fullest, but I haven't decided yet.
I've been looking at the tinymight 2 but it bothers me that it hasn't screen and I'd rather have something more sturdy too. I find replaceable batteries a must so the solo3 is out of the picture. Angus enhanced seems too bulky and also no screen. The nectar hex seems to tick all my boxes but I'm unsure and anyway I plan to wait for a good sale so I'm not in a hurry...
Probably after that I'd like to get a ball vape although I'm afraid it would put my XQ2 out of commission and finally I'd also like a high end butane like the tempest or the anvil.
But I absolutely think it is normal to fill all the use cases we can think of for doing something we love haha
Like I for one still use all my devices regularly and for different cases, although I guess that as my collection grows some will end up left behind sold or gifted...

You will absolutely love the solo 3 only thing to add would be an open airflow stem. Changed the game open airflow huge clouds .I have a solo 3 arriving in the next hour and that should be enough right? wrong because i find myself browsing and wanting more, an Angus enhanced perhaps? or some accessories?

Quick update: After the Tempest head arrived, of course I realized that it would work with neither of my induction heaters. So I ordered a Wand. Technically, that was not VAS, but a necessity.
Since then, nothing much has happened. Except, of course for the DynaVap M7 XL. Nice design, but so far my feeling is that the tip sucks. But that wasn't really VAS either, I try to tell myself.

What don't you like about the tip? I really like it so I'm interested to hear what or why it may not be right for some.
I avoided the Tempest until the release--the VAS-tension was more than I could handle--but having it in hand, I really dig it. I have some info to catch up on but I've found it super easy to use and very effective (I've only torched it so far). For me the indicators are spot on and the roast is beautifully even.
Not to encourage anyone's VAS, of course.

Somehow I dont get enough heat into it with my Induction settings (insertion depth and power) I use with the 2020M and the M+.
Maybe I need to experiment with it some more.

It takes a long time in my Flite and while that works pretty well I think it torches better, tbh.
Yeah, if you get enough heat into it it just goes and goes. Hope you get better results.
I'm a minimalist at heart, so VAS is a very deadly adversary that needs to be thwarted at every turn (at least in theory). I think I've been vaping for about 4 years now, and have only really used a Dynavap for 99% of the time. I did buy a Solo 2 shortly afterwards, which gets used every 6 months or so (I think I should sell it). I also impulsed purchased a Volcano Hybrid last Xmas. That got used a dozen times and put back into its box, never to be used again (even with the reducer and capsules, it was unbearably hungry compared to my humble Dynas, and lacked that certain 'oomph' to the vape that I was accustomed to).
The upside to this, I realise that non-butane vape are just not my thing, and have absolutely no interest in any of them, portable or desktop.
The downside, I've now got my sights on The Anvil and the Camouflet XL, but have a feeling these will be very welcome in my family. Fingers crossed.![:\](/i/s/hmm.gif "Hmm :\")

Can’t speak for the Convector, but I’m sure you’ll love the Anvil. To me there’s no comparison to Dynavap at all. I felt DVs a little too pricey until I got my Anvil - after that I felt DVs to be massively overpriced. Anvil (and Tornado) are just that much better. Best devices I own actually, would rather sell a leg than them.The downside, I've now got my sights on The Anvil and the Convector XL, but have a feeling these will be very welcome in my family. Oops, apologise for the typo, I meant the Camouflet. Yes, I almost fell down the Dynavap VAS road. The FMJ and whatnot have never appealed to me, but could see myself purchasing more tips (I might still get that new Helix bowl though, haha). Your thoughts on The Anvil is a common one I see, and the reason I'm going to give it a shot. Sure, I still have my reservations (hot metal), but the efficiency and performance is what sells it to me. I'd never get rid of my Dynavaps though, there are times when I want the most gradual climb possible, taking a puff every 15 mins or whatever. It's absolutely perfect for that.

If you get the Anvil, make sure you get it with the XL mouthpiece and the utility case. Both help cooling down, the case is also an absolute essential to work with the Anvil. Ideally you complete your purchase with the XL bowl, then there’s no more to wish for a lot of years to come.
Your gradual climb ritual sounds fun, I can imagine you keep your Dynas for that. But also I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if you don’t
I personally gave away my Dyna M with FMJ and everything, didn’t miss it at all.Thanks for the advice. Strangely enough, I did ask about the XL bowl on the Anvil thread a couple of days ago. I'm still unsure what to choose. Apparently the XL does it all, which sounds appealing to me, but will obviously have to exercise constraint (I doubt I'll be packing more than 0.6, but for the odd occasion to go for reckless abandon.... hmm...
). I was thinking of opting for the USA kit. I've got one of those original Simrell vortex stems (VAS!) and a glass stem, but not sure if I'd be better off getting the full kit with XL mouthpiece and be done with it?
Interesting, you kicked all your Dynas out of the house! In a way, I hope this applies to me as well. The less kit, the better!

I’d go for the full kit, buy once cry once. The Anvil stem is sturdy, wiggle free and pretty much indestructible. If you feel the need to change after some time, you can get the USA anyway. But I’m no happy Simrell stem owner, at least not yet. So if you feel that this is the perfect stem for you, go for it.
As you’re surely already been told, there’s a different signature to the XL bowl that makes it a useful addition anyway. If you add that 40 something bucks to your expensive order, you’ll make sure that you’re done with Anvil acquisition, as you have the complete thing that’ll serve you forever.
That makes perfect sense. Thanks for that. Forever is exactly what I'm after! I'll have a little splash out then. I've just found that Utility Tube on the website, so will add that into the basket as well.
